Turning Water, into Fire.

[Kade]

It was a hot, humid day on Felucia. It was near 3 PM, and bugs were everywhere, yet in a somewhat large clearing, there was a Jedi Knight, sitting Indian-style, and meditating on what to do, he was confused, and the jedi couldn't help him. About a week ago is when Kade came to this place, just to think. There was no certain reason he came here, he just came to get away from 'the rush.' As some would call it, he needed a break.

His eyes were closed, and his robes were no longer robes, the week he had been living here, he had lived off the land, so now it was more a set of rags. Parts of the tunic had been ripped off to act as bandages, and parts of it had been cut off to act as binding to hold down the tent he had made. He also had binding around the palms of his hands, and up his arms, so his hands wouldn't burn as he trained himself physically. For the past two weeks he had been training, not only in martial arts, but in the form of Makashi. He had almost given up Juyo, due to it's nature of being 'incomplete', and having to memorize all of the combinations.

His eyes slowly opened and he looked around, the grass around here was knee-level, and there were a few random groupings of trees, his ship was sitting next to one of the groupings, it had already began to grow mushrooms and moss on the sides, because of the high humidity and temperature. He turned quickly, thinking he heard something from behind him, his blue eyes scanned the large colorful forest behind him, before he stopped looking, and slowly turned around.

 

[Ser Gregor]

Nexus had travelled to Felucia after feeling many tremors in the Force. Soaring through the upper atmosphere, Nexus searched for a suitable landing place. After many hours, Nexus finaly found what seemed to be a small plateau.

After preparing himself, Nexus walked out of the ship, the loading ramp hissing as it set down on the stone. He had landed high upon the mountain, and he could see for miles around. He needed to find the disturbance. He knew not what created it, but if it was a Jedi, he would be sure to confront it.

Tapping into the force, Nexus let it wash over him, cleansing him of purities, and filling him with power. It seemed he was quite far, at least a days walk. Nexus sighed as he picked up his small pack, and began his long treck.

Damn, why had he gone to Felucia, it was so god damn hot. Cursing, he walked along the bottom of Felucia, flies and insects off all sorts buzing around him, not darring to fly any nearer.

Tredging through the forest, Nexus finaly made it to the man he was searching for. "So, you are the one." Nexus said, staring at the young Jedi.

 

[Kade]

Kade, who had been meditating for the past day, was still in a rest. His eyes were closed as he thought over his life - his master had taught him everything that he should do, never harm a soul, to defend the truth, and to honor your word. He could feel something inside of him though, a slight rupture in his nature - and every time he thought of the Jedi, and what they did, it would get larger.

He slowly looked up, their was nothing, then he slowly looked back down at the lush green grass, but somehow it began to become slowly tainted - then Kade knew someone was here. Slowly, Kade's somewhat weak body stood, he had not had a large meal in the past two weeks, but he was still in strong physical form.

He looked up once more, to see a single man. He could feel it inside him, the force in this man was of the dark side, a trained Jedi Killer. Kade slowly stood, looking at the man who was about 6 feet tall, the same as Kade - and he was bald with tribal markings on his head. "Hello there." Kade said in a semi-grim tone, as he looked over the man who looked large, but was also under a large cloak - even in the hotness of Felucia. Kade slowly looked down at his hands, which were raveled in worn cloth from his tunic.

"You are here to kill me, no?" Kade said as he looked back up at the sith. "If you dont, the jedi probably will." He said with a light chuckle. "Them and their beliefs, I cant believe I trusted them all these years." Kade said quietly as he slowly lifted his saber from his belt. "Well, if you're here for a duel - let us begin?" Kade said while moving backwards, in the knee-high grass that was soft, and somewhat peaceful on the world of felucia.

Nexus was shocked, he was doubting the jedi? He would test him, if he passed, he would be brought to Nefarius. "I am here to kill you, yes." Nexus said, pulling off his cloak to reveal battle ready echani robes, black as night. "However, it has been to long since I have had a good duel. So, what do you say?" He added, a sly grin on his ghostly face.

lifting out his hands, his lightsaber flew into his palm. "You are a night, correct?" Nexus asked, truely not knowing. "If so, then you shall be good sport." Igniting his blade, Nexus swung it around his body a few times, going through ghost combat. "Just limbering up."

Nexus watched the other Jedi with interest. He was obviously in peak physical condition, and seemed skilled. He could tell by the way he carried himself. "Tell me, why do you question the Jedi?"

 

[Kade]

Just as Nexus' saber ignited, so did Kade's. He was honestly not one to be on the offencive, though through lightsaber forms, Juyo was one of the most agressive, his new form would be able to lever his enemy's strength into his own strength. His hair was messed up, not only from the hard days spent on Felucia.

"Tell me, why do you question the Jedi?"

Kade looked up at the man, he had been concentrating on a small bug on the ground. "I question the Jedi because, for one they Hide- they dont know when to appear, causing thousands to suffer each day, if It was up to me, I'd kill them - all of them." Kade said as he slowly closed his eyes, remembering back to the days of his old master, his master had taught him patience, but that had never worked.

Kade watched Nexus for a moment, then slowly began to walk around him in circles. He was examining his opponent, but he was not one to strike from behind as other had before. As he came up to the front side of Nexus, his saber sent a quick and accurate strike at Nexus' chest, but pulled back quickly, it was obviously a fake attack. "So -- Sith, you may strike first." Kade said as he took a step back, looking over Nexus, a light smirk on his face.

In his eyes, you could see his internal pain, he was being torn to shreads by all of the conflict. His mind told him to stay with the jedi, but his body - his body was telling him to leave, and join to another force, and help destroy them.

Nexus saw the struggle this one was having. He would have to weaken him, both body and soul, before he could plant the insidious seed. "Very well, I shall strike first." Nexus said, before swinging his blade into an incredibly advanced Juyo stance. Eyeing up his opponent, Nexus had an idea of his fighting style, but before he would attack to kill, he would test him. Attacking various points, and observe how the strikes were dealt with.

Leaning forward, Nexus began striking swiftly and viciously. Seemingly striking everywhere at once. This was the key to Juyo, overwhelm the enemy, and kill him quickly, extended combat leads to death.

 

[Kade]

Kade smiled as he slowly pushed his hair back, looking over the sith. "Do your worse." he said, a darkened tone to his voice. He smiled as he saw Nexus leap at him, Juyo was a useless form - it was made to show off - unneccicary spins and flips, though the attacks could be thought as random, they were patterned, and made to seem random, Kade knew a lot about Juyo, though.

Just as Nexus landed, and began to attack, Kade lifted his saber, using the saber to counter most of the attacks, then using his own agility to dodge the others, jumping up at the low attacks, leaning to an extent to each of the sides, and finnaly, he rolled out of the way to the right, but just as he rolled, he changed saber hands, and send a quick and accurate blow, directed right at Nexus' left leg, right at the back of his hamstring.

Quickly after getting up, Kade sent a quick thrust at Nexus' torso, and then quickly moved it off to the right, attempting to slash at his rib cage, and leave a small wound. After his attacks, Kade rolled back, on the inside - he was confused, he didn't know what he wanted - the jedi had members who deserved to be padawan's, not knights or masters - but Kade -- for six years he had waited just for a master, while before that it was his prime, his master told him he was ready to be a knight when he turned 16, thought it was possible that it was a joke.

"Again?" Kade said, as he looked over Nexus, a light smirk on his face, he wanted Nexus to become angered, very angered and make a mistake, where Kade could exploit it, and hurt, or even kill the sith.

Nexus was haooy at the Jedi's ability to counter, and when he saw the Jedi slash at his Hamstring, Nexus had to do a quick backflip. When he recovered, he was confronted by the Jedi's saber grazing against his chest, ripping open his skin, and leaving a shallow cut across his chest.

"Again?" The Jedi said, tontingly.

Nexus laughed at the pittiful attempt to anger him. "The Jedi, so fearful of there young going to the dark side, neglect to teach you even the basics of the Sith. We feed of of anger, both in ourselves and others. Now, let us continue."

Charging at the Jedi, Nexus swung forward, molding Juyo and Soresu, his strikes more measured, to expel less energy. Exchanging blows, Nexus saw a small falt in the Jedi's defense, and quickly deactivated his saber, the Jedi's swing loosing control, and Nexus soon was behind him. Lifting up his hand, he consentrated on the rocks on the edge of the clearing, and sent them crashing towards them both. At the same time, he ignited his saber and swung. It was the Jedi's choice, deflect the saber and be crushed by rocks. Or be cut down from behind.

Of course, Nexus was hoping he would pull off both. "Your choice."

 

[Kade]

Kade smiled, it was simply his plan, he wanted to get behind Nexus, since his saber had overswung, and Nexus did not even get it away, he swung it back, attempting to sever his left arm, and then quickly dropped to the ground, he didnt know why, but the force had told him to, so he did it. In many ways he was still like a jedi, he would listen to the force. He did not hear the force, he listened to it.

As he hit the ground, the rocks began to fly past him, large ones, small ones, and some in the middle, all he knew was that the lower rocks were smaller, and were cutting small marks into his back. The rocks were obviously past Kade, but what about Nexus?

Kade quickly leapt up, pulling his lightsaber to him that he had dropped when the boulders had came by. "The sith - so eager to kill that they do not notice anything." He said with a slight grin, he knew that the sith fed off of anger, but what happened once they became to angry, they wouldn't be able to sustain it. He wanted to draw out the deepest anger of the sith. He let out a taunting grin as he slowly pushed his hair back, the dirt and grass made him look horrible, everything he was wearing looked horrible, torn, and ragged - what poor men would wear, not a jedi.

He slowly lifted his saber into a Makashi salute, and smiled once more. "Again?" he said, looking over at the sith.

 

[Kade]

OOC: This is the final post of this battle, Nexus HAS given me creative control.

Kade and Nexus began to engage, Nexus wanted this battle over, and so did Kade. Kade let out a smile as he slowly moved in, his graceful moves as elegant as the next, and Nexus's attacks were wild, like that of a Vaapad beast. Kade waited, parrying off Nexus's blows time after time, until he noticed a flaw, a very large one, his feet had basically entangled themselves with eachother, and with that, Kade used his saber hand to send a rather hard blow at Nexus's chest, which made him fall over himself.

It took Nexus a moment, but he recovered, leaping up and taking a slash at Kade, who had moved back, but the saber had grazed his right arm, leaving a rather long gash in the skin, but he quickly reacted, his right hand moved up, it was almost as if he had no control over his own body, the next thing Kade knew, he was standing there, His saber jammed into Nexus's chest, almost right where his heart was, chances were Nexus would die. It was then that Kade noticed about a 50 yard drop into the water, which was almost right behind Nexus. Kade nodded to himself. "I'll let the fish have you." He said darkly, and lifted his right foot, sending a kick right into Nexus's stomach, and with that Nexus fell off the cliff, dead in Kade's eyes.

Kade deactivated his lightsaber and slowly clipped it to his belt, he looked up to the sky for a moment, his eyes which had flashed with red - the color of evil, had now restored to those of Water, he was at peace now. He slowly looked to his right arm, which held a three gashes, two grazes, and a small cut, and his left arm was only worse, though it only held one gash, it was covered in grazes and cuts. He looked around for a moment, there was nothing here for him.

He slowly stood and looked around. "I've made my choice." He said quietly to himself as he slowly jumped into his ship, after packing back up his supplies, and lifted off - pressing the button for his one true home, the Jedi Temple.
