Ralaa watched as the Chiss continued his inspection of her weapon, turning it in her hand every-so-often so that he could view it from each angle. She too had been fascinated the first time she had viewed a lightsaber; it was both elegant and dangerous. It had taken her many years and more than a couple of accidents before she had learned to respect her saber and was able to wield it as an effective tool. Strix too would journey down the same path, learning about his newfound connection and working under the Jedi Order. In watching him she had decided that, due to their similar pasts, she would offer to mentor him through his first couple of months with the Order. Of course, she preferred to be alone, but it was important to her that he understands that the Jedi weren't going to abandon him the way that his family had. In a sense, they had become her family and she hoped they would become his as well.

When he had finished his inspection and turned his attention back to her, she cut the power to her blade and clipped the hilt back to her side. "I am a wandering member though I choose to nest on Ossus; there is a library there with a vast of knowledge from prior Jedi Knights and Jedi Masters. It is where I found the Jedi Order after I escaped the Exiles and where I have chosen to remain in hopes of protecting the history of our Order. I would be willing to take you there. Perhaps we can arrange a meeting with the Jedi Council and discuss your interest in joining our ranks." She offered him a short-lived smile, her thoughts trailing back to the disaster of the conclave held the day before and the trial of Alais. "I will be honest with you, Strix. I'm not sure how they will respond. I mentioned before that our Order is divided and I've not gotten a chance to meet with the Council personally since I joined almost seven years ago."
