Having told Atris about the shadows, a weight seemed to lift off of Ruzaan's chest. He was still nervous, but sharing his concerns- with Atris, no less- made him breathe easier. He listened to her response, and inwardly marveled at her honesty. She could've dismissed his fears or explained them away, and instead had given them space and trusted Ruzaan's senses even when he was uncertain.
Despite the questions surrounding the shadows, Ruzaan was curious about what lay ahead. This tunnel looked- and felt- older than the temple above them, and the yellow of Atris' lightsaber was the Jedi's only light source. Ruzaan thought about igniting his lightsaber as well- since it was essentially a giant glowstick- but elected not to. Instead, he took a breath to calm himself and followed after Atris further into the tunnel.
