The trooper who had pointed his blaster at Jon was completely blindsided by Guin as she dove into his knees. He let out a grunt as he was thrown to the floor, his blaster clattering down the hallway. He continued to struggle, but Guin had him quite pinned for the moment.

Jon focused on the trooper underneath him. He used his weight to hold the man down as he pulled one of the pairs of flex cuffs he had brought for this occasion. The man resisted, but Jon wrestled one arm back and then the other, cuffing his wrists.

He then turned to Guin's captive, the two of them able to subdue him as well. Jon took his helmet off, letting the troopers see who they had been apprehended by. It would also cause fewer questions if a passerby saw the Commander here instead of another nameless stormtrooper.

"Not too bad..." he smiled over at Guin. "A hell of hit..." he added as he hauled the one soldier off of the ground. "Move!" his tone became much more aggressive as he shoved his prisoner.

They would find an interrogation room to store their prisoners before reconvening on the other side of the two-way mirror. "Going to let them sweat for just a minute," he said, setting the helmet down on a table. "You're the ISB Agent here; you want to be the good cop or bad cop?" he asked. Their mission was serious, but Jon had to admit, it felt good to have some excitement after a long stretch of monotony.

Busting bad guys literally in the field, what a dream come true! Guin was smiling ear to ear under the guise of the helmet. Scrambling to hold onto the traitor as Jon moved to secure them both, and enjoying the sight of the two now prisoners being hauled off. With a chance to finally remove the sweltering helmet, she caught a glimpse in the reflection and chuckled at her messy hair.

On the question of which role to play, Guin wasn't exactly sure at first thought. Being ISB had its advantages to playing the latter, as just the initials invoked a sense of fear and dread upon those within its grasp. But at the same time, her natural calm and empathy would do wonders working on bringing out the information in a suspect.

Pulling out a small coin from her pocket, she softly spoke. "Shall we flip a coin? Heads I'll be good cop, tails bad cop?" waiting a second, and assuming he agreed, she would proceed with the coin falling heads up.

"Good, of course." She smiled. "As their Commander they'll expect a heavy hand and I have no doubt you'll deliver." She knew that Jon was just as suited for either role, but likewise she was happy that she'd get to play nice. Perhaps the ISB uniform would still work to her advantage even if she played nice.

"You head on in first, that'll give me time to get out of this clunky stuff." Smirking, Guin was still thankful for Jon's suggestion to wear it, especially considering there had very nearly been a fire fight. She hadn't yet noticed a small cut on her cheek from the knock, but fortunately it had barely wept.

He folded his arms, leaning against a table as she pondered which approach she wanted to take. Ultimately, she let the Galaxy decide. She was right, he would be expected to deal with them harshly, and there wouldn't be much acting involved in working up the rage he held for these traitors.

"You have a little cut there.." he pointed to the same spot on his cheek. He shook his head. "First the takedown and now battle wounds.." he trailed off before adding, "More and more of badass each day..." he said, pushing his way out the door and heading next door where the first of the prisoners had been stored.

They were kept separate so they couldn't get their story straight and sweat it out. This particular soldier was the one who actually was placing the tracking devices on the ships.

Jon entered the room, his helmet still in the viewing room. The man jumped at the sudden noise. Jon sat there for a moment, staring daggers at the man. "A Superior Officer just entered the room; stand and salute, soldier!" he said; the venom is words was real. The stunned prisoner hesitated for a second before leaping to his feet, almost tripping as he forgot he was chained to the table.

"You really fucked up this time..." Jon said, eyes locked onto the prisoners. "You know how many people have died because of you? Enough to buy you a full ride to the firing squad..." he said. The soldier still stood there, locked into a salute. "Sit your ass down.." Jon yelled.

"Why don't you tell me what you know.." he said, leaning forward and placing his palms on the table. "And you will let me go?" the man stammered. Jon moved in a little closer. "There isn't a damn thing you can do about that now. They are going to light your ass up." Jon said.

"I am just giving you the chance to go out doing at least one good thing with your life." Jon said. The man's eyes grew desperate as he realized the gravity of the situation. "Look I didn't..." Jon cut the soldier off when he heard the knock at the door.

"I am going to give you a minute to think about that. Then we can talk." he finished.

The prisoner's eyes grew desperate as Jon walked out of the room, letting the door close behind him.

"That kid is about the sing like a bird..." he said, passing Guin out in the hall. Moving back to the viewing room.

Guin looked up toward Jon as he pointed out something on her face, tracing her finger to where it would be she felt the tiny little bump and blood spot causing her mouth to widen. At least, it didn't feel too serious, but the agent wiped the blood regardless and made a mental note to get a quick medical check up after they were done here just to be on the safe side. Remember kids, concussions are no joke.

From the safety of the examination room, she was able to watch Jon at work while she slipped out of the remaining armor. The trooper balked at the authority being hammered down upon him like a nail, a little more time, and he would surely crack. But, there had always been dissent within the ISB as to the best methodology to obtain reliable intel. Some favoured the direct and brutal, others the calm and patient, while others still merged them in some way.

Today Guin would try the nicer approach following Jon's more...direct one.

Passing him as they traded places, the agent gave Jon a wink as she waltzed in while slowly removing her white leather gloves. Gently placing the pair on the table and taking a seat in silence, letting her uniform do the talking. And boy did it work, the shifty man shifted uncomfortably in his seat as her silence spoke volumes and a few moments later, the dam burst.

Sporting a smile, Agent Delevigne at last offered some advice to her former colleague. "I'm afraid I can only help you if you tell me everything you know before the commander returns, otherwise ... well it'll be out of my hands." The man was clearly taking Jon's threats seriously, and the prospects seemed a little better talking to this new face that he didn't recognise. "I'll tell you, please, just don't let him shoot me!"

Gently toying with the gloves before her, Guin's silence was a ploy. She neither agreed nor set terms, but rather relied on her cool demeanour to make him talk, rather than risk the incoming commanders' wrath. "Uhh okay, so I never saw a name or nothing, but some months back we started receiving dead drops in our mail bags with instructions and credits, with promises of more credits if I simply slapped those trackers in the crates." The man's panicked face appeared to be genuine, although she would of course attempt to verify the information.

Standing up and collecting her things to leave, she simply nodded. "Thank you, your cooperation has been noted." His pleas fell on deaf ears, unfortunately, when he begged. "Please, I told you everything I know, I ain't worth nothing to nobody now!"

Appearing before Jon once more, Guin smirked. "Huh, you were right." But something still didn't add up. They had the confession of the tracker, but they still needed confirmation on whether the other person was in fact the one doing the log editing. Jon probably was operating on the same wave length, but she'd still offer her thoughts.

"Have a crack at the second suspect, see if they know anything about the log edits, otherwise book 'em, and we'll see if anything has come up yet." Guin grabbed her datapad and started digging as Jon would set off, hoping to be done by the time he was.

He watched from behind the glass as Guin stepped into the room. The silence gave him the creeps, and he wasn't even in there. He knew that kid was about to piss himself. She barely spoke, letting the soldier start to spill information to get her on his side.

He watched on, impressed at how effective her method had been. Maybe it just best suited her. He leaned against a table, arms folded as Guin entered the room. "Of course, I'm right," he said with a bit of a smile.

"Yes, mam." he said with a lazy salute, pushing himself off of the table. He rolled his shoulder in a stretching motion before moving over to the next interrogation room.

Jon entered, and to this man's credit, he actually stood to salute. The Commander gave him an icy stare and waved him off. "Don't even worry about that, son. Your IAF days are over. Your friend sang like a bird and had some interesting things to say about you..." he said, raising an eyebrow.

The soldier's eyes practically burned with anger as he forced himself to sit.

"The only game we are playing now is how hospitable your prison cell is going to be, or whether you make it that far I suppose.." Jon said as he slid into the seat across from him.

"Someone edited those shipping logs, and I think its you," he said matter a factly. "I'll give you one chance to tell me the truth, and it better match up word for word what your buddy had to say, or I'll see you both strung up." Jon threatened.

For the next half hour, they exchanged words. First, the soldier had tried to bargain, but when he found Jon to be unmoveable, he cracked. He told him that they had not changed the logs, but whoever was paying them also had a slicer that they had planted in the area to change the logs. He had seen her once; she was in one of the tech departments. She was a human female with black hair and a scar on her right-hand palm. Jon pressed harder for more information, but that was all he was getting out of them.

He would return to the room as the soldiers were dragged off to holding cells. They would keep them close for the time being. "Sound like anyone you know?" he asked as he closed the door.

The agent within her was quite the dominant personality, driving her into action, and the results often showed for themselves. While Jon was busy gleaning information from the last suspect, Guin was diving into the data once more, attempting to piece together the puzzle, as it were, that they were trying to solve.

She would occasionally break concentration to look up and into the room to see him hard at work also, playing to his particular set of strengths to slowly whittle away the resistance that the suspect held onto so tightly.

At last, Jon re-emerged with some interesting news indeed. "Yeah.." the description was far too specific to be anyone else. With a concerned stare, she illuminated the commander. "That's gotta be Ayanari - I know her, she's good." Guin had worked with her in the past, although their paths were often kept separate, so it was likely that neither would easily recognise their product. That didn't mean the situation wasn't complex enough, as the woman was clearly skilled at what she was doing, which would only raise more red flags about why she, of all people, had done this.

Lost in a train of thought and fingers gliding across the datapad screen, the agent's demeanour would accentuate the seriousness of the situation. Suddenly, her eyes looked up and locked with Jon's as she spoke what they had been waiting all day to hear. "Terminal 43, Eastern Administrative building." Their opponent may have been quick, but perhaps she wouldn't be fast enough to complete her job and escape before the facility could be locked down and surrounded.

The day had certainly turned in a more exciting direction, to say the least.

His brow furrowed slightly as Guin revealed the name of the third traitor. How could anyone sell out their fellow Imperial so easily? What would drive someone to that?

"Let's go." he said, already making his way out the door. He could shut the Garrison down, but that would likely only spook their target. If they were fast, they might be able to catch her before she even found out something was wrong.

"Anything you can do to stall her from getting to those records without raising too much suspicion?" he asked last they made their way outside and towards a speeder. They would need to make it to the other side of the base quickly if they wanted to catch her.

He hopped in the driver's seat and shot off towards the Eastern edge of the base.

The race to the speeder and then to the Eastern section of the base was vital if they hoped to catch the last culprit in time. Given the rush, the agent wouldn't likely do any slicer business as the activity wasn't naturally inclined to such things, but that didn't mean she was defenseless.

"Way ahead of you, Commander." She grinned. Part of the work she had completed earlier included laying the groundwork of a 'trap' of sorts, which would delay the instigator just enough that it wouldn't be obvious but also provide ample time for the interception. A small delay built into each keystroke collection and interpretation, minor packet loss and any other server side issues that she could slice in.

Arriving in record time, Guin jumped off the speeder and checked her data pad. "She's still there." she confidently advised. Drawing her pistol, the blonde made the bold decision to take point considering that she had the better knowledge about their target, and perhaps she would be able to put it to use without a gun fight breaking out. Assuming Jon could trust the men here, they'd hopefully be able to prepare just in case she ran.

Creeping through the first few halls, she stopped at a door before looking back for Jon. "Are you ready?"

He nodded as she worked, laying traps that Jon couldn't comprehend. Technology had never been a friend of his, so he was glad to have Guin as a partner here.

They had to cut off some people, horns, and cursing following their path, but they made it across the base in no time and were entering the building that Guin had tracked their traitor to. He nodded, sliding the blaster from its holster as they entered the building.

He didn't radio anyone else about this, he didn't want to risk spooking their target or alerting any further allies she may have, When they reached the door, and she asked if she was ready, he gave her a slight nod and readied himself to breach the door. "Right behind you." he whispered.

With all the setup that Guin had prepared earlier, the elusive foe found it quite difficult to complete the task that she had set, with each passing second burning valuable time. A brief smirk appeared on her face as the information system alerted her that another job had been successfully done, thereby meaning that the ship would be lost and she'd collect another pay day.

What she didn't account for was the small metallic nub being silently pressed into her back. Now sporting a silent panicked look, the slicer froze in place to consider her options. A blaster lay in front of her and within reach, although if she was too slow that would be a death sentence. Perhaps some kind of kick back with the chair to distract, or maybe even attempt to talk her way out of it by putting on a pretty face.

Attempting the latter two, she barely moved a foot before stopping suddenly. The electrical impulses wove their way through her system in a flash, stunning her into submission. Guin and Jon could only watch as this woman who had given them so much trouble had seemed to attempt to flee. "I...I had to Jon." Even with the stun setting, it was still a much different experience shooting a person rather than a target or droid. "Will she be alright?"
