Home sweet home... if only it wasn't abandoned for years.
Thyr was early, just like how he did during the first match, but there's was one, large difference between the two, as in fact the first one was won by tactical genius, without the need for true fighting, this one would be won by the best Swordsman, the best Mandalorian with an iron will and a strong hand would go to the finals... hoping to become the first Supercommando Captain.
And so he was waiting, with only a shallow, brown CCT armor and a simple long vibrosword with himself, walking around the plants, occasionally waving his sword around, lost in his thoughts...

...waiting for his rivals to arrive, and fight.

As the sun shown brightly in the azure sky, Ral "Asterion" Vizsla ran his left hand across the tall golden stalks of wheat. The sensation of the wheat brushing against his gloved hand felt odd, but altogether invigorating; he hadn't been able to take a moment and enjoy the little things like this in a while. It was good to take a moment and enjoy these things. Besides, a wheat field was infinitely better than the sandy dunes of Tatooine.

Somehow, he had defeated his last opponent, his family friend Barr Wren who had taught him much as a child. Perhaps defeated wasn't the right term. Ral got lucky. Between Barr's anger and Ral's own, each fighter nearly lost themselves in the fight, and it was only when the son of Vizsla accepted who he was to the older Wren did the man give up. So in reality, Barr forfeited. At least, that's what it seemed like to Ral. Perhaps he had beaten the man fairly and Barr realized it and yielded. Ral wasn't sure, not really. In any case, now he was here, his family's prized Vibrosword in his right hand, unsheathed, the soft purr of his bionics resounded through the metal frame of his right arm as he gripped the hilt tighter.

The Mandalorian knew he faced two others out here today. He knew not of their skill as warriors, but he planned on finding out. Win or lose was irrelevant for him. Testing the mettle and potency of these warriors was all that mattered. If he won, he won, but it was not something he cared about or yearned for. If he was beaten fairly, then so be it, at least he would know there are great fighters in the Dominion. As he walked through the fields, he already noticed a brown, humanoid shape not too far away. That was one of the other combatants. Looking around, Ral searched for the third. It was only a matter of time now.

Thrit walked amongst the tall wheat grass and brushed the tip of his fingers amongst them as he looked up past the hills into the blue sky. "Such a beautiful setting. It's almost like this land was untouched by the scowls of war." This is where he would fight two other Mandalorians in a duel. He had won his last match against Adkae. A hard fought battle but only one had the greater drive, and he was the one. He felt alive within' that moment. The pain, the enmity, the aftermath. Thrit was slowly becoming one with his inner warrior once again. This time, he and his opponents would clash swords. Thrit was an adept swordsman at best but he leanred never to truly rely on his blade alone. In front of him, he could see his other two opponents before him. He put his hand down to his side and looked at his two opponents. "Am I right to assume that no words need to be had?"

He saw them, they were standing 20 or so meters from his current position on the field, the first one to arrive was "The Star Warrior", the amnesiac mandalorian... also a cyborg, this would make for a tactical disadvantage for both me and the third competitor, he was surely the high value target.
Then there was... Thrit, the guy who lost his disguise before a mission... But a good warrior never underestimates an opponent.

The Basaakith would wear helmet back on and put himself on an Alber stance, with the sword pointing the ground in front of him, now covered by the plants and ready for quick counterattacks.

Cough Cough Cliché entrance is Cliché Cough Cough

Ehm ehm, yeah, No words from me.

Twenty meters, too far to make a quick strike without expecting a counter. Distance tended to complicate matters when one's weapon was only useful in-close, though part of Ral did think that if he threw his sword he would have a nice surprise, however that would mean he is down his primary weapon. Possibilities ran through his mind: aggressive tactics, prudent ones, cautious ones. A myriad of choices ran through his mind at that moment and the counters to them. It would be hard to make a perfect strike at the start of the fight; that would require his opponents making a critical error, one which would open up an exploitable hole. Bringing his sword up into a middle guard he slowly stepped forwards between the two opponents, wondering if one could be baited into making the first move.

There were no words from Ral, he didn't need to say anything; now was the time for action, not the tedious platitudes of words. As he moved forward slowly he hoped to get close enough without putting either combatant on guard by his approach. Keeping Thyr in the corner of his eyes to make sure the other Mandalorian would not be able to move without Ral being aware of it, the Mandalorian kept most of his focus on Thrit. In fact, Ral turned his body slightly to face Thrit as he moved, making it look like the Son of Mandalore was starting to focus on him more. Then, once Ral had reduced the distance between him and Thyr to less than half, which was about the same for Thrit, he relaxed his body and prepared himself. Suddenly he burst into movement, leaping forward towards Thyr's right, keeping Thrit between himself and Thyr for the most part. The attack with Ral's vibrosword came from his left to his right, not a hard strike or an overcommitment, just enough to knock his blade to his side if he made contact, but quick enough that he could easily shift momentum and change attacks if necessary. His left hand remained off the hilt, ready to counter the response of either Thrit or Thyr. If his attack was successful and Thyr's blade was knocked to the side, Ral would swing his sword into Thyr's shins. If not, he would have to reevaluate and decide what to do next.

Thrit drew his vibrosword from his back sheath and charged towards them for a brief second, until he dows a cartwheel and then uses his arms to push himself forward as he slides across the ground and passes between Ral and Thyr. Thrit points his blades upward and strikes the tang of Ral's vibrosword with his, redirecting his attack. One he comes to a stop, he quickly gets to his feet and readies his vibrosword.

Thrit looks at the backs of his combatants, waiting for them. "Actions may speak louder. But words hold more power." Thrit holds his vibrosword in his right hand and begins to slightly shake it with his arm slowly arched up. His back and knees slightly bent. His other arms is also slightly arched up. Thrit had to be weary of these two. They obviously know their way around a sword than he probably does. He just needs to breath steadily. He would normally rush them, but it's not everyday he fights a Mandalorian. He needs to be extra cautious in this fight. For now, he needs to observe.

Exploitable hole, Breath In, Cut, Breath Out, Step Back 45 degrees, high stance, stay vigilant.

This throughts went in and out Thyr's mind as the scene unfolded, the Star Knight strategy would have actually worked if only the Green-Clad Mando didn't decide to step in-between, knocking the sword out of harm way with his tang strike...

...The Exploitable Hole...

...2 to 5 seconds before his adversary could regain stability and hold his guard again, he had to try and so he did, moving half a step forward he would use his superior muscle mass and his rival lack of guard to strike with an upward cur from his low positioned guard, trying to atleast wound his still fleshy upper arm...

...Breath In, Strike, Breath Out...

...but this wasn't a sure move with such a short timespan, and so whatever the outcome of his attack would be the Mandalorian would move two step back, turning 45 degrees toward Thrit and now using a "from the roof" type of stance, holding his sword over his shoulders, with the blade remaining pointed 45 degrees behind his back...

...Step Back, High Stance, Vigilance.

The cartwheel was a tactically foolish move on Thrit's part. Had Thyr wished it, he could have used the attack to remove Thrit from the competition; after all, this wasn't a dance. If Ral had not been mid-stride in his own attack he would have done it himself. Now, with his attack interrupted, Ral changed strategies. While Thrit's attack wasn't the most conventional, the time it would have taken for him to cross the roughly ten meters to attack Ral, and the rather superfluous method in which it was enacted, gave the older Mandalorian enough time to recognize the threat, and even though he couldn't shift out of his strike in time to stop it, wasn't caught completely off guard.

With the blade of his sword angled more downwards due to Thrit's attack against the hilt of his weapon, the Mandalorian quickly regained control in a fraction of the time as it may have taken an opponent who had been caught flat-footed by it. Just as he began pulling his sword back up he could see Thyr moving in to attack him. An odd choice considering that Thrit's attack merely prevented Ral's strike, but did nothing more than momentarily unbalance his sword, while he himself was largely open to attack. Perhaps Thyr viewed Ral as a greater threat and wished to end him quickly. The reasoning was irrelevant, the fact was that it happened and now he had to defend against this follow-up aimed for his upper right arm.

Ral did his best to draw his blade up as high as he could in the short amount of time that he had, but only high enough to protect his torso, arms, and shoulders from the blade of his opponent. Simultaneously, he spun ninety degrees clockwise, moving the sword in front of him to cover his body. Thyr's blade would barely slice the fabric of Ral's suit, drawing a few beads of crimson blood, but otherwise being deflected harmlessly once Ral began to spin about. Taking a step back, Ral could see Thyr on his left and Thrit on his right. He had a few stride lengths between each of his opponents now as he backed up. Ral despised these sorts of melee's as it turned less into skill and more into of who had the worst luck. Holding his blade over his left hip at a forty-five degree angle to his right Ral placed his right foot back into a defensive stance. Watching both Mandos, he waited. He had made his move. Now it was time to see who would move first now.

As his actions had a better outcome than expected, Thyr had a little grin on his face, sadly not visible because of the helmet present on his head.
But as the two sword's clashed with each other, the Nomadic Mandalorian surely knew who was the real threat here, and so had to remain without intruders, and fast.

In fact, while the Star Warrior actually decided to wait for someone to do their move, the green clad Mando was catatonic, just moving his sword left and right without a purpose, this was too much of an opportunity to let go.

Noticing that the three were once again on a mexican standoff kind of position, Thyr would first sidestep away from Ral's danger zone to then move toward Thrit, going back to the first stance once he was on step away from the target, the Mando, now standing on Thrit's right, would move his sword diagonally from below, trying to hit the unarmored arms and chest of his adversary.

Thrit can see Thyr's move. Not exactly the right move to make if your aiming for the arm holding the weapon, but upon closer inspection he sees his attack is going below his arm. Thrit manages to aim his vibrosword downward and blocks Thyr's attack, but almost looses his handling doing so. Thrit quickly tightens his grip and grabs hold of the blade itself and is now pushing his vibrosword, manuevers to where Thyr's vibrosword is facing vertically and his is facing horizontally, pushing against Thyr's vibrosword towards him in a effort to push him back . He could try to overwhelm him or prompt a sword struggle, but that would leave an opening for Ral, as his back was exposed.

Thrit had one other option, he had to fall back. The tall wheat grass would provide excellent cover for him, but the thing is, the could just as easily follow him in there. In order for stealth to work, you have to be unseen at all cost. He could wait and see if Ral would attack him from behind and the moment he does, he could dodge and break away from Thyr and use that as an opportunity to escape into the grass. That could work. Wait...He has one hand on the hilt, the other on the blade and he's pushing Thyr's vibrosword back towards him. He could just as easily fake him out. Thrit could let go of his blade, then quickly angle it to where it could slide against Thyr's vibrosword and thrust foreward. He wouldn't see it coming. Plus, his hilt guard could block the tang of Thyr's vibrosword. Thrit goes ahead an executes the latter plane.

He lets go of the blabe of his vibrosword and and angles it to where both of the blade's sides are against each other. His vibrosword is now point towards Thyr. He quickly puts the palm of his hand at the bottom of the hilt and pushes it forward towards Thyr's face. Before Thrit knows it, his vibrosword is stopped by the tang of Thyr's vibrosword. He looks to see that the tip of his vibrosword made it past Thyr's helmet visor, but only about a centimeter of it made it through. He still hasn't toughced Thyr yet. Maybe if he could thrust a little bit further, he might have him. Thrit is about to push his vribroswod again.

As soon as Thyr stepped away from Ral and began to step towards Thrit to attack, the son of Vizsla could see the opening that Thyr had provided him as Thrit's back and left side opened up. to defend Sidestepping to his right and forward, Ral would drop his vibrosword until it was parallel to the ground aiming to get behind and to the left of Thrit. Taking two fast steps Ral would swing from his left to right and slightly downwards as he took his third step.

The strike would cut right across Thrit's back and the left of his abdomen right as he blocked Thyr's attack and attempts to angle his own sword for his next move. Not enough to kill, but enough to seriously wound the man if he took the hit, possibly even enough to put him out of the fight. Ral's positioning would mean that if Thrit chose to back up he would back into Ral who was closing and waiting for him to move, and if he lunged forward to dodge he would be lunging forward into his other opponent. In both cases, Ral's swing would deny the man easy escape in either direction as the arc of his sword would sweep from the front left to the back right of the man, while remaining out of range of Thyr's blade, and Thyr's blade would be denying Thrit escape to the front right. Ral's hope was that Thyr would continue to apply pressure, so that if Thrit let up his attack would connect, and if Thrit didn't, then Ral's would connect.

The human actions are always so, so un-natural for the Basaakith, he was clearly stronger on both build and biology than the green mandalorian, so why would he ever want to start any kind of struggle?
But it didn't matter, even if it wasn't looking like it, Thyr was on the advantage, his position and Ral's attack were the best chance he would ever get, and so, he processed a plan on these split moment's, just to execute it right after.

The Mandalorian's head would move back on that centimeter of the blade and then move his whole body weight half a step right, making his next push unbalancing and futile.
But in any case, that wasn't his main goal, and so Thyr's arms would move down slightly so that the two swords were not struggling anymore, at last he would proceed with the same attack from before, but this time he would apply much more strength and speed to it as poor Thrit had no chance to deflect it with its sword from that unconfortable position, and any temptation of fleeing would be met by Ral's blade.
After all, Thyr's stance was called "The Fool" exactly for its quick and lethal counter-attacks, Thrit seriously needed a miracle now, or a forfeit.

Thrit had messed up. He had messed up bad. It's not like it hasn't before. He felt winded, hurt, beaten. Heh. Heheheh. Just when he thought he was doing good. I shoudl've kicked Ral when he took his chance. He shouldn't have focused on trying to stab Thyr in his face. It's been along while since Thrit could remember feeling regret. But this time...He would have plenty more. He wasn't going to be brought down so easily. The fight has just started and he was going to pull out every trick he knew before he could give up. Mandalorians never falter. They are never defeated unless they are dead. He is not dead. That within itself mean't he still had some sort of a chance. Thrit had to think. Both of his opponents are blocking his front and his back but not his sides. But it's not to say they have a plan for that too. Both of them are evenly spaced out, yet still in good range to strike him. He could tackle one of Thyr's legs and sweep him from under. But then there's the problem of him seeing it coming. That's it!

Thrit needs to disorient them somehow, but at the same time not make it obvious. He needs to put distance between him and them, and the tall grass could provide cover for him. He can then try to ambush them from there. But there's still the matter of how he plans to do this. Seconds passed and he still couldn't think of one. His mind was getting abit dizzy, he began to feel nauseous. He was supposed to be a Mandolorian, but he let remorse hold him back. And now he was going to be the first one outed. And fairly easily too. In that moment, it hit him. That one question he remembered from his time with Deathwatch long ago.Whenever he went to battle, they were always ordered to ask themselves this question "Heheheh. Let me ask you both...How far are you willing to go to win...?" Thrit slowly raises his vibrosword and point's it at Thyr, but doesn't look at him. What he was about to do might be the riskiest move he could think of. There could've been plenty of other ways to go about it, but he couldn't think of none. This could be one the few chances he has at still making it. Cause ...I'm ready...To show you how far ...I'm willing to go." Before the other two knew it, Thrit had point his vibrosword at himself and trusted one forth of his sword under his breast plate and into his chest. Thrit's face was contorted with the sharpness of the pain. He even felt like hacking up something fierce but he had to pull though with all his might. Thrit quicky lifts his head up and presses down the back of his tongue. Thrit began to hurl, starting from the face of his helmet down to the rest of his armor. Thrit then does a 180 degree, pulls his vibrosword out of his body and swings the blood off his vibrosword and into sight his visors.

Thrit quickly ran deep into the tall grass as far as he could and lowered himself. He slowly began to come to a crouching walk. By far the riskiest move he made, but he got away from them. Now is the matter if they'll try to find him or not. He wasn't feeling too hot. He was loosing blood quick. Thrit continued to slowly crouch walk and cut of some of the wheat grass and gathered some dirt and began to pack it on the wounds he could reach. Thrit began to stuff his would with the wheat to see if it would stop some of the blood. Thrit found a rock the size of his face. Good for blocking and bashing in one of his opponent's faces in. He put the rock under his arms and continues on as quietly as possible. He might have only some minutes left before the blood loss kicks in, but he was going to make it the most of those few minutes. With any luck, the dirt would out for him.

Start Ooc

F. In duels, if an opponent completely ignores an attack in his/her counter reply, that attack is an automatic hit.

By following this rule, i hereby declare that you got hit by not one, but both of our attacks, that on a time side would have occurred both during your "i stab myself" moment, a sword takes seconds to do a slash, not hours.
Also, how many times should i tell you that Thyr is not in front of Thrit?

End Ooc

Stupid, extremely, utterly asinine, these were the words that came out of the careful Basaakith as both his sword, Ral's and... Thrit's would cut the poor human like a grottesque work of modern art.
What did he think he would do? Scare the two off by stabbing himself on vital area's with a Vibrosword? The microvibrations would have altready macellated his organs by now, and also there was the fact that Thyr's sword was cutting through his arms like a hot knife through butter, same reasoning with Ral's attack.
Thyr's would be visibly angry by now, Thrit wasn't a Warrior to his eyes, and so with rage fueling his body for some seconds, the Brown armored Mando would slide his sword to his side as it touched Thrit's arm bones, trying to prevent possible permanent damage.
Satisfied with himself as the Green-Clad adversary would somehoe throw himself away from melee range, probably not lasting a minute longer with his intestines and stomach decimated by his own vibrosword alone, the Basaakith would do two step back, and this time pick up a normal, balanced middle step, keeping his eyes on the Star Warrior.

No one will interrupt this anymore, Star Warrior... Your move.

And so there were two...

Watching as his strike connected with Thrit just as Thyr's strike hit, the son of Mandalore smirked at the almost performance-perfect timing. With a roll of his eyes as Thrit stabbed himself as part of some ill-conceived notion, then promptly realized his mistake as his own vibrosword began to eviscerate himself, the third Mandalorian began to fall out. Upon seeing Thrit's own blade plunge into himself, Ral knew exactly what was to come next. Without waiting, Ral moved.

Before Thyr could take his two steps back, Ral was already moving just as it became apparent Thrit was no longer a combatant. Making sure he had enough room to maneuver as he moved so he would not get tripped up on Thrit, Ral would side step to his right and forward. With one more step he pivoted, stepped again and enacted a tactic which had been immensely popular with Moira, now Talia, Kryze when they used to spar as teenagers. Before Thyr could reposition and recover, Ral would attack the remaining Mandalorian.

With his vibrosword in his right hand, Ral swung at Thyr from the man's front left, his blade moving diagonally downward from right to left, aiming specifically at Thyr's sword but made to look like he was perhaps striking for his chest. If he fell for this ruse and tried to block Ral would lock blades with him, if he did not block then Ral would slam his sword down and out of the way opening him up, and if he tried to move his blade away and not engage then Ral had a contingency for that too which involved using Thyr's lack of defense against him. After all, he still had his left hand which was currently kept in a guard close to his chest.

Attacking your opponent before he's able to move, a good strategy from the Starchild, but letting him keep his lower, more manouverable stance? A big minus for his successive actions effectiveness.
In fact, even if he would expect an attack from his adversary, he didn't expect it right after they eliminated the third competitor.

It was time to play by new rules.

He didn't had much time to think, but he was named The Over-Planner for a reason, and so Thyr did a step to the left, raising his guard as Ral's blade would be almost touching the ground, and then... A loud slam could be heard.
The Bassakith stomped the rivals sword with hia feet, making it dig through a centimeter or two of dirt in the process, as it succeded, Thyr would start shifting his body weight and apply pressure on the plain side of the blade.
At last Thyr would hold his sword on a stabbing position, aiming toward the exposed chest area before thrusting forward, aiming for the area just under the Diamond plate.

As Ral's sword moved down at an angle from his right, he saw Thyr almost reactively sidestep towards him, and while this wouldn't be enough to cause his attack to miss its intended target, the raising of the guard would move the target just enough to cause his attack to miss. With it obvious that Ral's initial plan would not work quite like he wanted, he prepared to withdraw into his guard and attack again as his blade reached the bottom of his swing.

However, before Ral could pull his blade back up, he saw Thyr kick his feet up to attack. Instinctively, Ral turned his wrist ever so slightly, taking only a fraction of a second as he perceived a new threat and responded so that the edge of his blade would be perpendicular to Thyr's boots as the man tried to stomp down with his feet on his sword. Surely, his blade did dig into a centimeter or two of hard dirt as all of Thyr's weight and the added force of the stomp fell upon it, but as the sole of his boots were now cutting into the edge of the blade designed to cut armor instead of resting on the flat, Thyr would quickly find his own weight and momentum, indeed his own superior muscle mass working against him as the strong stomp into the blade would easily slice through the soft rubber, any magplating, and into the man's feet. After all, Thyr had intended the flat of the blade to dig into almost an inch of dirt, with that much force the sharp edge of the vibroblade would have no issue cutting through the man's boots.

Ral wasn't sure if the newfound damage to the boots and likely his feet would be enough to stop Thyr, as it likely would for a normal human. So he moved accordingly, gripping his hilt firmly with his cybernetic hand he'd tug inwards pulling the blade out of the dirt somewhat as he tried bringing it up and cutting even deeper as the blade tore and sliced as it moved.

If Ral's maneuver didn't interrupt his opponent, as unlikely as it was, and Thyr still managed to bring his blade up to thrust, Ral would wait for the attack to come. Using his left hand, which was still in a guard this whole time, he'd sweep his arm around using his vambrace to deflect the attack to the outside perhaps only a glancing hit to his shoulder armor or arm. Meanwhile, as he parried, Ral would lash out with his right foot, slamming his heel down into Thyr's exposed knee to dislocate it from its socket. At this close range, and otherwise occupied, Thyr would not be able to defend himself from the kick and the likely lose both his balance send him reeling back preventing further damage.

If Thyr did not manage to bring his blade up, it was then likely due to his feet becoming fillets and falling on the ground allowing Ral to full regain control of his sword, keeping it in a low guard and waiting to see if Thyr would try anything else.

Thyr's genius planning suddenly turned against him, everything went to plan until he heard the humming of Ral's vibrosword and his boot being torn apart by it.
It was painful during the first moments of the struggle, but thankfully Concord Dawn wasn't a hot place to begin with, and because of that his dermal armor gaps were not large enough to be reached by the vibrating metal as it could only manage to break and cut the armored scales themselves before Thyr moved his feet away.
But now? Now it was an extremely unconfortable, painful and difficult position...
...So he went as straightforward as he could for what could have been his last action.
And sl he would raise his bleeding foot from the blade right before plunging with all hjs might and body toward the other Mandalorian, the grip on his sword hold tighter than ever both to wirhstand the pain and to be sure not to fail.
And so he threw himself toward his opponent his thrusting attack would be deflected and by the vanbrace armor, only managing to scratch his enemy shoulder armor, but the kick would be a complete failure as Ral would not have the time to withstand the charge and fall of the Basaakith with so little space and time, and so they would go both into the ground, the rage fueled Basaakith trying to regain balance as it now standed over the Human and with his sword on a extremely dangerous position, in fact, if Thyr would move the sword some centimeters to his left, the blade would touch the human's neck, it his Rival had a plan and didnt decide to concede, well... It would be probably over for Thyr.

Ral could tell right away that his move had worked, though perhaps not as well as he would have wanted. As Thyr lifted his foot from Ral's vibrosword, the son of Vizsla could immediately feel the release of pressure from his blade as he drew it back towards him. Unfortunately, his kick had seemed to miss because of Thyr's move, which the man had performed slightly swifter than he thought and had instead chosen to throw himself into Ral as he thrust.

Ral would deflect the thrust easily, and though his kick had missed, Ral had managed to get his sword out of the dirt and closer to him. As the two men collided, Ral's sword, still firmly gripped in his mechanical hand, was already moving back and up, under the man's arms and behind his guard. Its path would take it up along Thyr's unarmored side and into the man's unprotected armpit, the sharp microvibrating foilable cutting deep past fabric and soft flesh, severing the brachial artery, but not quite forceful enough to cut bone. With his sword wide from the failed thrust, and his body flung forward trying to force Ral down, it would be impossible for the man to stop the reactive cut upwards.

Twisting to the right just before he hit the ground, Ral's sword would clear the man's body, his own body protected by his armor should the blade get close. Ral would feel a burst of pain as he hit the ground, his buttocks hitting first and his shoulders last. But that would not stop Ral, for as soon as he hit the ground he was already swinging his blade back around from the right to the left before Thyr could even regain his balance, driving his vibrosword on a plane that would either bite deep into Thyr's knee between any leg armor where the joint was unprotected if he was standing, or his hip just above his thigh armor where there would be no protection if he was on his knees or lower.

With his left arm still up in a guard from his parry of Thyr's thrust, he'd continue to protect his head as he held his armored vambrace between it and Thyr's sword. If Thyr still managed to gather enough strength to attack him, he'd have to cut through Ral's armored forearm before even getting to his helmet. It was a sacrifice he was willing to make to beat Thyr, and with such wounds, it would be a hard thing to manage. Even so, if Thyr did try to take his head, Ral would respond by drawing his knee towards his chest quickly and slam his foot into the man's uninjured leg causing him to lose balance and leverage.

His vision was blurry, his actions more desperate and strange by the minute, the Mandalorian knew this wasn't going to last, but as long as he was breathing, he wouldn't let an inch to his opponent, never.
Ral's sword would cut Thy'r side like butter, making him gasp in pain and almost lose control of his sword, the two faces would meet as the Basaakith struggled to maintain consciousness, what the human would see from the broken visor was a single, almost blood-injected from pure rage.
Then the sword came out of his body, and his vision became black for a second, no, this wasn't gonna end like this, not today, not never.
The Mandalorian's sword was held perpendicular to the ground only because of Thyr's loose grip with his left hand. If he would remove it the sword would fall like a guillotine over the Son Of Mandalore's head.
This was the last action from the scaled individual as he used all his remaining energies not to move his sword, but to use both his hands and arms to hold his rival's left arm away from his neck area, but as his arms and Ral's left arm started struggling, everything went black again.
Some seconds had passed before the Basaakith could see again, he was laying down in a pool of his own blood on the right of the human, probably knocked away by the kick he would obviously have received, but as he looked around, he would see that Ral wasn't in the best condition's either.
In fact, his desperate last action somehow succeeded, and he could see how even if his vibrosword remained stuck inside the armor piece present just below the neck, the throat was cut and bleeding, with only a nick in one of the frontal arteries visible from the torn and messed-up flesh, it was not lethal, but close.
But then everything went dark... again.
