The Cartel has seized tons upon tons of trading goods, hoarding them on a carrier in their blockade. We plan to steal these resources directly from them and return them to their rightful owners. However, a direct assault would be suicide; some subterfuge will be needed.

Sneak aboard or commandeer a freighter bearing cargo from Gactimus, and under this guise board the Cartel’s carrier. Hijack the ship and warp away before the Cartel detect what’s wrong.

"Come on, maggots, we haven't got all day! Load those crates now!" a Cartel boss bellowed out. The recipients of his demands, two Tritonites, glared at him ruefully as they carried out his orders. It was total blasphemy that these intruders should invade their sacred moon and steal their offerings to Gactimus as their own spoils; however, they could do little in the face of such a superior force.

Placing the crate atop the others in the large freighter's cargohold, they made their way back outside. "Only a couple more now, don't dawdle!" Unbeknownst to those in the hangar, however, the Accord had stationed agents nearby...

Nice intro, @Shalken , thanks for setting the scene!
Redemption. The greater good. Freedom. Daska wasn't quite sure what it all meant yet. He'd done some bad things, sure, but he was also pretty sure there was worse. Anyway, working with the Accord meant he had time to think of these things and earn some guilt-free credits. What he was doing could have been called repaying a debt to society, but he didn't tend to think of it that way. Those greedy officials and corrupt gangs had it coming. The few innocents might not have though, so redemption was maybe the word for it.

Daska had never been to Triton before, but he was here for a reason, Sneak aboard a freighter, infiltrate a carrier owned by this "Cartel". The Accord had some beef with these guys, which was understandable. They didn't sound like nice people to deal with. The Trandoshan was pressed up against a beige shipping container, waiting for the other operative he was to meet. His combat vest felt bulky, he'd only been recently purchased it as a just-in-case defence in the event of being spotted. Usually he'd do something like this with nothing but the clothes on his back, a knife and a blaster pistol. However, these jobs were high-profile and extra protection might be needed.

Whilst his ego had deflated over his career, Daska still had the nagging feeling that working with a partner could slow him down. Ideally, he'd be on board the freighter by now. But the ideal was never reality, having a small fortune in credits that you could barely spend had taught Daska that. Now to wait...

Fabian spotted the scaly friend from across hanger, he wasn't the biggest Trandoshan he has seen but he was still sizeable compared to the average human. he briskly walks towards the trandoshan. "hello, I presume you're my partner for today's mission, the names Fabian" he says outstretching his hand for a handshake, not exactly knowing what the response would be from the Trandoshan.

Daska peered out from behind his cover into the shipyard. They didn't have much left to load now, the freighter would be preparing to leave very soon. Looking across the hangar in the other direction, he was suddenly aware of a human walking towards him. Hm. Was this the agent? Either that or he'd been spotted. The man approached Daska, greeting him in a friendly but professional manner. "Hello, I presume you're my partner for today's mission, the names Fabian." Fabian held his hand out to shake Daska's. Hastily shaking the man's hand, the Trandoshan responded with an agitated whisper. "Yes, yes, I am Daska. Spector Cell. Keep your voice down. The freighter's leaving soon and we need to be onboard, preferably quietly."

The Cartel overseer watching the few workers load the ship had his back turned to them, standing about 50 metres away. Daska got into a crouching position, quickly and quietly making his way to another stack of empty crates nearer to the freighter. His scaly, bare feet barely made a sound on the metallic flooring, an advantage of his lack of shoes. Daska beckoned the man to follow, pressing himself up against the second stack of crates and shifting along to his right, peeking out of the side of the stack briefly. The overseer was still barking orders at his underlings, the stocky Duros no threat at this distance.

Fabian quickly follows behind Daska, keeping low and keeping no more than few steps behind "I'll distract the overseer so we can sneak aboard" Fabian peers out from stack of crates lifting his out towards Tritonites loading the cargo, one of them trips and drops the cargo they were carrying it contents spilling out across the floor, The overseer moves away from the cargo ramp and proceeds to beat the Tritonite, shouting at him. "There we go, now let's move while he's distracted"

Hmm. This man could come in handy after all. Daska quickly made his way up the hulking freighter's cargo ramp with Fabian, the man seeming to at least have a measure of competence about him. Whilst he preferred to work alone, the Trandoshan didn't really mind having an ally on his side for once. They boarded the freighter together just as the final crates were being loaded, the cargo hold being the safest place for the journey. It would take some time for the journey to the Cartel's cruiser, but Daska was used to hiding in cramped conditions like this.

Getting comfortable behind a stack of the larger cargo containers in the hold, he whispered to his companion as the last two Tritonites walked through the hold. "We wait here, it's the best place to hide. When this freighter lands, we'll have to head up through the ship, there should be an emergency exit at the end of the hallway out that door." As he spoke, Daska motioned to the door to the port side of the cargo hold.

"I see you did your research and planned this extensively," Fabian says with his knees up to his chin in cramped space in amongst the cargo containers that surround them. Fabian is not exactly used to hide in confined spaces but he'll have to deal with it for short amount of time "I guess after we get off this ship, we head to the bridge and make a hyperspace jump to the accord fleet, correct?"

"Extensive? No, no, this isn't extensive. The Christophsis planetary banking heist was extensive." Daska thought about the planning he used to put in in the old days. Weeks and weeks of organising and scheming just to screw over the big guys. He missed that life, but was glad it was over as well. The Accord was leading him down a better path now, one where his skills were put to a better usage. Getting paid didn't hurt either. Fabian seemed to have the gist of the plan sorted as well. "We'll have to catch the captain unaware. Get him to make his crew stand down, then let the Accord deal with him on arrival." Daska said, not quite sure how easy this whole thing was going to be. The ship rumbled as it took of, the vessel obviously not designed with the crew's comfort in mind. Daska rolled onto the floor, lying down in the cover of the crates and shutting his eyes. "Wake me up when we arrive. You're on watch."

as the lizard closed his eyes, Fabian sat in his meditative position, sitting on his knees with his hand on his thighs, eyes closed with his lightsaber next him. he sat listening for anyone that could find them in the cargo hold. The flight wouldn't take long to the carrier. half an hour passes without incident until a gristly voice come over the intercom. "Alright, you wamp rats get your keisters moving, will be arriving in a few minutes so get to work or you'll feel what it's like to have a blaster bolt go through yea!" Fabian shakes Daska to wake him if the intercom didn't. "that's are que" he says in a hushed tone to the lizard.

Shifting himself into a sitting position, Daska spoke to Fabian. "Across the bay. Let's move." He motioned to the door across the wide cargo hold, standing into a slightly crouched position. The area was clear for now, but they wouldn't be able to escape from inside here. Swiftly but quietly making his way across to the exit, Daska pushed the button on the door's control panel and watched as it slid open. The aging freighter had obviously seen some use, the doorway taking its time to open. Making his way out of the cargo bay, Daska came in to a long hallway as expected. The end of the corridor turned left, hopefully to one of the ship's exits.

The floor above buzzed with activity, feet clattering on the ceiling above the pair. Continuing down the corridor, Daska discovered that the left turn led to a small room, a food storage bay. It was slightly colder than room temperature in here, something that made the cold-blooded Trandoshan uncomfortable. Food crates lay stacked up around the place, but there wasn't much cover to hide in. With that though, the previous door to the hallway from the cargo bay clattered open. Damn. Scanning the room, Daska hissed at Fabian. "Hide!" Diving behind a short stack of boxes, he noticed an empty box. Hmm. Slowly, Daska lifted the large box above his head, attempting to hide underneath the box. It was big enough to conceal his entire body and this had worked once or twice before...

Fabian quickly follows behind Daska, he entered food storage bay with daska seeing him visibility shiver from the cold air as they entered. without warning, Daska hissed at fabian to hide. Fabian quickly slid behind some stacked crates of food, pushing up to them as mush as possible with his hand on his lightsaber ready if they discover him.

he could only two voice enter from the door "when did the captain become so uptight?" the first one grunted. "well the accord is breathing down are necks, so we can't afford to screw up at moment" the second one responded. they pick up two boxes of food by the entrance, too lazy to go any further and leave the room as quickly as they came. "That was close, but I presume they'll be back, so let get moving"

Daska withdrew from his cover as Fabian spoke. Now that there was no imminent threat, he had time to look around the small, cold room more closely. There was a door on the right wall, looking like it wasn't used particularly often. "Hmm. I suppose they usually use the main exits. If this is an exit at all." The old door opened like everything else on the ship, somehow managing to make the elegance of a usually smooth sliding door seem jerky and outdated. Through the doorway was another short corridor, with what looked like an airlock at the end. Hopefully it would be a small service hatch, something inconspicuous. Approaching the pressurized doorway, Daska knew they wouldn't have long. Somebody on board would surely be notified that an airlock was opening and somebody would be on their way soon after the pair's escape.

Pressing a control panel, the airlock slid open, oddly slick compared to the other doors on the freighter. The companies that made these things were usually more concerned with the mechanisms actually working than normal doors. Stepping into the airlock with Fabian, Daska nervously kept an eye on the room they had just came through as the interior door to the airlock slid shut once again. The exterior door revealed a small hatch outside the lock, hopefully leading underneath the ship and into the main hangar. Activating the trapdoor, the Trandoshan breathed a sigh of relief as the dingy interior of a Cartel cruiser opened out before him. After slowly letting the ladder down from the ship, he climbed down into the hangar, motioning for Fabian to follow. A few other large ships were docked in the cavernous space, providing ample cover for them both. "After you." Daska quietly hissed to his partner.

fabian jumps down rather climbing down ladders landing quietly, taking a look around fabian sees the 3 blasts doors they could use to escape, one was being used to move the cargo from the ship they just left, so that was a no-go, the other two seemed to be clear. Fabian lead the way the to nearest one, using the cover provide by other ships and the various miscellaneous gear left about in the hanger, to get close to the blast door and open it. the door opened with a slow hiss and lead to an immediate cross junction. not knowing the layout of the ship he turns to his scaly friend. "do you know where we need to go because I don't have the slightest clue."

Looking at Fabian a little angrily, Daska quietly hissed at him. "We're in the hangar, so this way should be the front of the ship." He gestured at the wide corridor in front of them. They had moved into a small alcove to avoid any crew wandering the area and Daska briefly stopped talking as a short sullistan passed by into the hangar. "The bridge should be somewhere near the front of the vessel, if this is the model I'm thinking of. The last thing we want to do is start a fight before we get there, so don't get spotted." Peering out from the shadowed hiding place, Daska saw the coast was clear and rapidly stalked down the corridor across the polished black flooring. Progressing through several more rooms unhindered, they reached a flight of stairs. At the top a guard stood, keeping watch down the stairway. Obviously this upper level was restricted and they'd need a distraction to get past.
