Samar has been a freelance bounty hunter for close to 30 years. She has been friends with Stasha Evie for a long time and finally she has convinced Samar to join the Bounty Hunters Guild.

So she did and finally filled out the paperwork required for entry. But something Stasha forgot to mention is that all new members need to go threw a training session with an assigned teacher.

Luckily, Samar's teacher was Stasha. Unluckily, Samar knew that Stasha would milk as much fun and humiliation passable before she will sign the papers making Samar a full member.

So she sat in the room where she said to meet, waiting for her fate.

Stasha entered the Coruscant bounty office with a slight prance in her step. Stopping with her lips twisted in annoyance she regarded her reflection (Upon the mirrored surface of a window) with self indulgent rumination. Her hair she wore pulled tight and smooth, it’s auburn sheen gleaming as though wet. Lifting an eyebrow she cracked a smile, silently sharing a secret with her own knowing, gold, gaze.

Entering the office her pallid flesh illuminated like smooth eggshell in the artificial light; made twice as candle white against the contrast of her black body suite which clung to her curves like a second skin.

Turning the corner from several long stretches of hall and various queues she gained access with the flick of her wrist (and a slide of her card…) into an oval room of windowless, near snow-blinding white.

“How goes it?” she called, smirking from the door way and leaning with her arms pressed against her back.

She wore the mischievous look of a girl much younger and unquenchably thirsting for tribulation.

(Yo Gabora, you got the suit on or no? It will effect how I describe things)

(Only the helmet)

Samar got up and walked over to he friend. She answered Stasha, "You forgot to mention this" she said referring to the training session.

"And I know your my teacher because your married to the second in command and he does what ever you tell him. It's just a big scheme to humiliate me."

Then, quickly changing the subject, Samar asked "How is Ashes?"

"I'm your teacher because I'm skilled." Evie commented dryly.

“And if Ares did whatever I told him too, he wouldn’t be the man for me.”

She paused lifting an eyebrow.

“You’re rude.” she added.

Taking a seat across the table she brought up a holo pad and began to take note. She thought Samar’s appearance commanded ridicule and acted accordingly to her snarky commentary.

“My big scheme is to give you a respectable title,” Said the Zabrak, lifting her chin but keeping her eyes on her records. She avoided the change of subject Samar had offered for a more direct dialogue.

“This guild offers its hunters more then just good company,” She began with pride.

“If you want a steady income you can’t go it alone, we get offered missions you could never dream of.”

In Evie’s eyes Samar’s career as a hunter lacked practice, though she was in her latter years, the way she had spent them seemed less then eventful in comparison to her own ventures.

“I’m not forcing you to do anything. Any humiliation is yours- as is the choice to participate.”

Samar felt bad after Evie said that. "I'm sorry Stasha. I've just been feeling on edge lately." What Samar wasn't telling Stasha was that the reason Samar was like that was because she didn't get her spice this week and was having the symptoms of withdraw.

"So, ya, how are we going to do this? You going to have me shoot some targets of what?"

"Or what." Stasha answered.

Crossing her hands in her lap she studied her newest ward.

"A few questions if you, please."

Something was off about Samar, she was odd in character to begin with but her agitation was not a common attribute. She assumed it was the new position of submission.

"would you-" She began, "Or have you...under any circumstances-" She glanced up.

"taken the life of an innocent?"

Samar had to think about that. She never did directly but there where a few times when she caused her bounties do do something or when she shot a ship down in a heavily populated area. "There was this one time when I tried to interrogate a guy for information in this bar. He slipped this thermal detonator and blew that place too hell. Does that count?"

Stasha was irked by the vagueness of the reply. Wrinkling her brow she took note.

“If you were on an important hunt,” she continued.

“-And another guild member asked for your assistance, would you abandon your obligations to aid them?”

She paused for emphasis and searched Samar’s hidden gaze.

"Well that depends. If I was hunting down a mass murderer who would kill again and the person who asked for assistance was only hunting a computer thief I would stay with my bounty. But if it was the other way around I would help the person in need of assistance." Samar Answered truthfully.
"Now if you put the pay factor in there, I would only do the less threatening one only for a freakishly large amount."

"Fair." came the reply and with it Stasha stood and began her exit, gesturing with a hand to follow and lifting her chin with a sniff.

"I'll dive right into it Samar, I haven't seen you in a damn long time." she said from the door way.

"What made you decide on this?"

"I haven't been doing well in the past few months" Samar explained. "I wasn't making enough money so I came here."
What she didn't tell Stasha was that also she was very depressed. After the accident, she was permanently scared and needed a place to belong.

"As you know killing is a last resort" Stasha said.

"We prefer our prey live- We're not filthy assassins after all" she added.

It was then they approached the place the zabrak had in her youth dubbed the arena; another round room with high ceilings and pillars of white.

"So, " she swiped her entry card.

"No killing and no dependancy. Those would leave the guild liable."

She paused to look Samar in the place her eyes were cloaked.

"problem?"

The door cracked open fluidly.

(We are continuing this thread)

"Nope" Samar answered in a humorous smug tone as the doors opened to reveille the arena. She had never been in there before and was kind of impressed by how clean it was.
"Enough about me, How are you?" She asked trying to lighten the mood from all the technical stuff. Samar was a little unfocused.

Stasha smiled, adopting a more relaxed demeanor, when all was said and done she truly had Missed Samar and her company was much appreciated.

"I'm...better." she said.

"I'm looking forward to working with you, really." she reiterated, averting her eyes.

"I know you can fight, Samar and I know that you're capable so there's really little need for this. I would accept you right now if I didn't feel...somewhat concerned about-"

She paused, retrieving a card from her collar.

"Here. Your guild card,as far as I was concerned you were always one of my own but now it says so right there- you're a registered Experienced Hunter in the Bounty Hunter's Guild." She held it out as if to offer it to Samar's hand before pulling away.

"Assuming you can handle one last little obstacle.." She added, grinning as she turned to enter the next room beyond.

If Samar followed, which she assumed she would, she would be led to a large balcony overlooking what looked to be a large storage room and a maze of Crates.

Samar followed Stasha into the room of crates. She wondered what she was going to say. But when she saw that evil grin, she thought "Aw crap." Samar was lucky that Stasha couldn't see her expression threw her helmet.

"What do you want me to do?" Samar asked.

"See that?" Evie asked, pointing an index finger towards a small red flag in the distance. An opening between a tall wall of metal crates gave a clear path for it to be viewed.

"All you have to do to be in our little club is get me that flag." she said.

Crossing her arms and jutting her hip she nodded in its direction.

"Easy enough right? Hardest part is getting down if you ask me!"

"How do I get up their in the first place?" Samar asked. She used her helmet to scan the surroundings to see if their were any traps and how far and high the flag was.

"Your not going to do anything I wont expect, right?" Samar asked in a paranoid manner.

"Nothing you can't handle." Evie answered in mock aloofness.

Suddenly the maze shifted, hidden mechanics reorganizing and changing its layout, the flag's clear path blocked and re routed slowly.

"Better hurry..."

((I've seen trainee's getting down into the maze from parkour to suicide jumps onto the maze wall tops))

"Give me five minuets." Samar said with excitement and pride.

She jumped down into the maze with a dive and rolled on the ground so the impact wouldn't break anything.

"How much time passes before it changes again?"
She asked as she shimmied across a collapsing hall way.

The growl of wild cats filled the air as the cages of four sand panther's were opened and the beast were released. Sprinting forward they rapidly approached Samar with gaping maws and aggression fueled by starvation and long confinement. Two came from the left; the other two from the right.
