He shifted to look at her as she mentioned being his lucky charm. "Well let's put that to the test why don't we." As the card were dealt he got a King of hearts and Queen of hearts. The first round of betting was rather tame no one even folded right away. As the first cards were flipped over it was revealed to be three hearts cards. An eight of hearts, a ten of hearts and a five of hearts. The second round of betting went by much more interestingly everyone raised the pot except for Trael who simply called to stay in the game. The next round saw the Ace of hearts flipped over, the betting situation was the same some raises but Trael was simply keeping himself in. The final round revealed the Jack of hearts, Trael had his royal flush. Yet he remained steadfast in his strategy simply calling all the raises as the betting came to an end.

All the participants flipped their cards. The hands were a flush, a straight, a two pair, a straight flush, and finally Traels royal flush. This time Trael received the entire pot almost tripling what they had started poker with. Wanting to end on a high note he collected the coins and left the table. "Well we have maybe two hours until they start closing down the non vip areas. We could do one race then return to the ship, or do you want to leave now while we're ahead?" He would make his way to the middle area. One way lead to the race betting, the other to the coin cash in area and exit.

Maeve watched the new round intently at first, relatively invested as she had a good feeling about it and was agreeing with his choice of doing another, however as the round kept and kept combining, she found her gaze wandering around, inconspicuously watching what the most random people were up too until she involuntarily zoomed out.

It took her a moment to get back, but as she did, the last card was about to be revealed and even if she was internally surprised positively, her face betrayed no emotion as they started betting and until the cards were revealed and he actually cashed in the coins. "Damn...now that was lucky", she said to him a smirk while they received a few glares that actually bothered her a little.

"Now that we've made a decent plus, why don't we turn in?", she suggested, actually wanting to get back to the ship as she wasn't really in the mood for gambling anymore. A win was a win and now the had the credits secured fairly without any drama.

After he had gathered the winnings he seemed to be in high spirits. "Well I guess you are my lucky charm it seems." He teased as they left the table. It seemed she was ready to go after her comment. "Sure we can turn in let my just exchange these for credits first." He would walk to the exchange desk with her in tow. He waited in line till it was his turn to go.

He walked ahead and begun going through the process of exchanging the coins for credits. Ruby wasn't allowed to follow since she wasn't holding any coins. So she was forced to wait by the side of the area. Ruby wouldn't be able to make out their conversation over the noise of the other groups. As Trael made his way to where she was waiting he handed her a credit stick. "Here's your portion of the winnings as my good luck charm. Let's make our way out of here now."

As they made their way down the streets the would begin passing the restaurant district. Trael would begin sniffing the air as it was filled with the smell of delicious foods. "Why don't we stop for supper before heading off world?" Looking to her as a small growl escaped his stomach.

[Maeve]

Maeve waited for him to return, watching some of the others guests rather impatiently, tapping her foot. She didn't want to stay in the casino much longer, memories of the past suddenly surfacing. She knew she hadn't done anything illegal here, but something made her nervous, hence she wanted to return to the ship. Her hands slipped into her pockets, more than glad she had brought the jacket as it made her feel much safer and it was cool they mat he'd the new outfit.

As Victor returned with the credits, she was half surprised he handed her a stack. "Oh...thank you. Perhaps that's what I should do....becoming a professional lucky charm", she couldn't help teasing and followed him outside, the prospect of ending this the right way raising her spirits.

However once outside back on the fresh air, he suddenly suggested food. They hadn't eaten late breakfast that long ago and so annoyance was surfacing, her natural impatience simply getting the best of her. "Sure!". None of it was reflected on her voice as she reluctantly turned, taking a good look around.

While it had definitely gotten later, less people were on the streets while more seemed to pile into the casinos and restaurants and so once again, Maeve's con mind was triggered. What else would she gain? She wasn't hungry, and she had almost gotten everything she needed, she she really didn't want to drag this anymore...

"Which supper are you feeling like? Pizza?", the question was pure distraction, but it gave her just the right distraction to fully catch him off guard once they passed a bigger group of men that seemed to be on a bachelor's party. As they parted to pass them one the left and right, Maeve had just the right window to bump against one and slip something into his hands - a small silver box that still held one spare dart.

The other dart drenched with Renatyl was already in her hand and as she was a little behind Victor, it was an easy play to close the distance between them and inject him with her go-to sedative, making him feel nothing but a light prick while the man with the box suddenly came to a confused halt.

As Victor was already on his feet, the chem would take effect within a second, wiping him clear out. All she had left to do was to yell "HELP! He did something to my boyfriend!!". She pointed at the man with the box, his friends just as confused as him, but the authorities around immediately spotted the box. "GET AWAY, HE'S ARMED!". While Trael would black out, the innocent groom-to-be's best man was suddenly a suspect while Maeve ran back towards where Victor's ship was parked, knowing she'd had to get off right away and it fitted her plan of feigning full panic.

Trael had so far enjoyed his night. It was the first time he didn't have work on his mind at all. She quickly agreed to his dinner proposition. It made him smirk maybe he wasn't the only one hungry. She asked him what he wanted to eat. As he went to answer it he felt a prick then everything went black. Even in his sedated state he was able to get one thought in before fully drifting off Not fucking again.

Drifting off to sleep as the commotion around him went about. The guards quickly tackled the suspect causing him to drop the box and have the dart fall out. One of the guards grabbed the dart and pricked his finger with it, quickly falling over heavily sedated as well. The guard captain yelled out "Joey you idiot. It seems that the dart is drugged call a chem tech over to figure out what it is so we can help the victim."

Meanwhile Trael drifted into a dream of his master and him at the water fall. She was crouched over the man, "See acolyte, this is what happens when you allow your comfortability with someone cause you to let your guard down. Normally you would've anticipated my attack, but because of our relationship you grew too complacent with me. Never let your guard down even around family." He faded into another dream him and his master dueling when she blew him a kiss mid saber lock. The sith's focus waivered and she dearmed him and shot him with sith lightning.

After fifteen minutes or so the chem tech was on scene and testing the serum on the dart. After running a couple of tests he pulled out a compound from his bag and mixed it together with something else. He first applied it to the guard. The mans eyes opened and he started rambling about not feeling anything. "Calm down I mixed together a cyclodextrin to begin counteracting the effects of the serum on the dart." He than applied it to Trael who simply laid there with a defeated and aggravated look on his face. He was trying to decide how to deal with his little ship thief now that she broke his one request. First he had to let the medicine get his body working.

While walking, it had only taken them minutes to reach the city. Thus now that she ran, she was at the ship quickly. She wasn't followed, the chaos she had left behind was obviously enough for now, and once she reached the vessel, she immediately unlocked the ship.

This time, Maeve was sober, so she could finally follow through with her plan. The ship's engines were readied within moments and while the chem expert arrived at the scene, Maeve was already in the air. She now knew there was a tracking device and she decided to deal with that once off this planet.

The ship had enough fuel for a jump and so hyperspace would give her the headstart she needed. For now though, this meant she had to disappear quickly, find someone to sell everything she had just acquired and to hope she wouldn't cross his path again.

After a few minutes had passed he was finally able to move. He then had to wait for the cops and medical people to allow him to leave. Since he refused to take any legal action on the bait he was released as well. Trael went to a shop and grabbed a sandwich to eat on his way to the ship port. He simply strolled there already expecting the ship to be gone so he didn't feel the need to rush.

Once he reached the empty hangar where his ship used to be he simply stared up at the nights sky. He could hear his masters voice chiding him. "Women like me use the weakness of a man to our benefit. Your heart is too kind you must remedy that." He sighed deeply. She always warned me about this. Yet only one of us lives. He stretched out his back. As he turned around he saw the other outfits he bought for her sitting in the cargo section of the hangar. He flicked his finger towards them as a small ember formed and fell onto the packaging burning them.

He made his way to the shuttle hub. Walking to the counter and looking through the departure list. "Where ya headin lad?" He saw a shuttle heading for Nar Shadaa on the list leaving in an hour. "I'll take the shuttle to Shadaa." He then dropped a handful of credits on the counter and took the ticket. He made his way to a clothing store and bought a new outfit to blend into the crowds of his next destination. He then made his way back to the shuttles and boarded the one he paid for.
