Name: Tora Solotov
Faction: Jedi
Rank: Padawan
Species: Human
Age: 26
Gender: Female
Height: 5’ 6” (170 cm)
Weight: 120
Eyes: Brown
Hair: Brown, shoulder length
Skin: Tan
Build: Small
Credits: 1000
Distinguishing Marks: Assorted scars
Force sensitive: Yes

(I hate using numbers, so I’ll use written descriptions instead. This is compared to what could be considered average for a teenaged female Jedi)

Strength: Tora’s physical strength falls below average.

Dexterity: Above average dexterity.

Constitution: No major health issues, healthy all around.

Intelligence: Above average intelligence. Sharp mind.

Wisdom: Knows how to calm spirits and end arguments, not irrational unless blinded by emotion.

Charisma: Very talkative and compassionate on average, physically attractive.

Skills:
Minor mechanical repairs (Tora has done her share of research)

Minor electrical repairs (As above, combination of holobooks and classes)

Battlefield First Aid (She learned a lot from her former Master, Maya.)

Interpersonal (She hate people but love individuals, that being said being the one to initiate a casual conversation is unlikely.)

Galactic Basic ( “Everyone speaks the same language with a Lightsaber to their throat”)

Slicing (Jedi can be picky with their information sometimes, and Tora refuses to be shut out from information. Slightly rusty though, and was not that skilled in the first place.)

Stealth (Generally someone who is unassisted by technology or the force will never see her coming.)

Acrobatic to a degree (Attempting to learn Form IV to supplement her Form III defense, though the flips and spins of Ataru leave Tora winded and light headed more often than not.)

Force powers:
Push (Adept)

Pull (Adept)

Leap (Adept)

Speed (Adept)

Strength (Apprentice)

Saber Throw (Apprentice)

Breath Control (Apprentice)

Force Barrier (Novice)

Lightsaber/sword forms:
Tora has practiced Sii-Cho and Niman as an initiate, due to learning Aurum as part of the Third pillar and continues to practice them out of respect for her past, though she does not practice them regularly. Once she was old enough to develop her own interests, she promptly took to learning Soresu and has enjoyed the superior defense; in fact it has probably saved her life more than a few times. To go by the Third Pillar, Caesitas, described as a mix of Soresu, Ataru, and Shien, Caesitas has become a regular practice for Tora. That being said, Ataru, Form IV would be her weakest link.

Tora considers herself average for most Soresu users; though believes she is average for a beginning trainee in Shien and well below average in Ataru. In an actual battle, Tora uses Soresu nine times out of ten, as she does not feel confident in Shien yet, and is yet to test capabilities in Ataru outside of training.

Over all, Tora is a confident Soresu user, aiming to become a capable Caesitas user.

Strengths and weaknesses: Tora is relentlessly stubborn, dangerously curious and incredibly quick at learning. Over all she is the type of person that you can be sure is safe only if she is in a padded room alone. She is also known for her fiery passion and undying love and loyalty for others. This also leads to her being quick to trust however, which can be a problem some times.

Belongings:
Grey Jedi robes. Tora’s robes are made from Armorweave to supply protection. These robes fit tighter than traditional robes, allowing for greater range of movement and due to personal preference. x2
Red brown cloak. The cloak is fashioned out of Spacers leather. This allows for the cloak to be extremely tear resistant, yet very light and flexible. It is strong enough to block hits from both blaster pistols and small slug throwers, though it does not disperse the kinetic energy, causing major bruising and making it impractical as primary body armor.

Black armor weave body suit, phrik gauntlets. Obtained after the battle of Coruscant.

Utility belt, red brown.
(Following items are contained on utility belt)
Comlink
Lightsaber (blue)
Datapad
Holo communicator
Survival rations, food and energy (three capsules each)
Ration pack x2
A99 Aquata Breather
Fibercord grappling hook
Folding fusioncutter

When her previous Lightsaber was destroyed, Tora salvaged the Pontite crystal from it. Using a newly obtained one in conjunction with it, this Lightsabers blade is a light purple in color.

Tora's lightsaber contains a rare Pontite crystal and a Mephite crystal. The blade is wide, designed to more effectively block blaster bolts, and is sky blue in color.

Personality: Tora is currently a young, charismatic Jedi. She is quite charming, wearing a slight smile and maintains a generally positive atmosphere. Despite all this, Tora is shy around strangers, opting to read or train when alone. She can be quiet, patient and understanding or outspoken and very animated depending on the people she is with.

Tora Solotov has grown up knowing nothing other than the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, having been rescued from the flames of a transport collision at the age of three and living there ever since. The Jedi Knight, sensing that the child was force sensitive decided to drop off the child in the Temple rather than take the time to find an orphanage. To this day nothing is know about her family other than they were on an intergalactic luxury passenger ship that tragically collided with a fuel tanker moments after taking off killing nearly everyone on both ships. Everyone but Tora.

Tora grew up happy and content in the temple, taking life as it came and learning the way of The Jedi. During this time she followed a pretty typical young Jedi, making friends, training in basic skill etc. This general contentment and fulfilled interest lasted for many years, until reaching the age of eleven where she became more curious of the outside world.

A Jedi Knight by the name of Adeline Maya took Tora as her Padawan four years ago from present day, at the time Tora was twelve years old. The two’s personalities matched wondrously, leading to a mutual relationship that greatly benefited both of them for several years. Maya was thirty years old at the time she took Tora as her apprentice. During these years Tora followed her beloved master’s footsteps carefully, becoming a calm, balanced and skilled Jedi for her age; all of which she directly attributes to Maya. They have worked tirelessly in the field and training grounds, Maya pouring everything she knows into Tora. One of Maya’s audio logs (Audio Log 337) states “Tora, my Padawan has the potential to be far greater than I ever will be. She just needs proper… Motivation, sometimes. None the less, her natural skill with the form Soresu and astonishingly fast learning pace means it is my duty to use every last resource at my disposal to train this remarkable young girl.”

Their time together was cut catastrophically short by the fall of Coruscant however.

“Go Tora. This is my time, my purpose, my destiny.” Maya said in a calm and collected voice, despite inner tension.

“No Master, we can both escape! There is no need for this!” Tora’s eyes are welled with tears, he voice desperately pleading.

“That is not the way it is meant to be. My duty lies with the Galactic Alliance and its citizens which I am sworn to protect. To turn my back on them now would be unforgivable.” Maya places one hand on Tora’s shoulder, applying gentle pressure.

“I will stay with you then!”

“No, you must live on. You are responsible for the next generation of Jedi. You and the others must retake the galaxy from the Sith. But Coruscant must not fall without a fight, and the evacuation transports need all time they can get.”

Tora opens her mouth to talk and breaks into tears instead, sinking to her knees on the cold marble floor. Maya kneels down gracefully, extending her arms around the sobbing Padawan.

After a long pause Tora collects her composure and stands up.

Staring into her masters eyes she begins shakily, “May the Force be with you then.”

“May the Force be with you as well, Tora.”

“Maya…?”

“Yes?”

“Thank you. For everything, the last four years, the times we’ve spent together, everything.”

A gentle nod, two pairs of deeply sympathetic eyes sharing a final moment together.

A dull thump resounded through the temple, a mere whisper compared to things to come on this planet.

“Goodbye master.”

“Goodbye Tora.”

Tora turned on her heel, picking up a backpack that contained a few essential items and walked away without turning back.

That was the last time Tora ever saw Maya, with the soon to be following carnage there was no way she could have survived. One thing could be sure though, Adeline Maya would go out swinging. And so would she.

Boarding an evacuation ship would be futile; they would be cut out of the sky before making it halfway to the building tops. Tora needs something more… subtle. Her mind brings up a shady cargo transportation corporation that is stationed not five minutes from the Temple.

Using force accelerated speed and reaction time Tora makes her way through the panicked masses and to the cargo ship loading docks somewhat painlessly. Concealed in between shipping crates, she waits for the right moment to board. Simultaneously keeping track of the ragtag crew and workers is difficult at best. The ship is filling up quickly, time is running out. One of the crew members is getting close as well.

Suddenly a chain reaction of boxes and junk begins falling in a far corner, all previously stacked up quite precariously. Now or never. Tora sprints out of her hiding place at full speed to the cargo hold, just as the boxes stopped falling. The timing was perfect.

Several minutes pass, and the crew board the freighter and the cargo bay door closes, only light coming from the red emergency lights that light up the area worse than half a dozen dying glowrods would. It’s dark, cold and somewhat damp. A shiver runs across her shoulders despite the reinforced robes. Tora pulls a cloak out of the backpack and pulls it up to her shaking shoulders. A single tear cascades down her face, before being wiped away quickly a by dirty hand.

The ship rumbles to life suddenly, causing Tora and some of the cargo to slide around. Swearing under her breath she clings to a heavy crate and hopes to avoid being crushed by falling cargo. She feels a slight ripple in the force, something very near, but cannot place what it is. Tora sits up quickly scanning the cargo bay.

Must be my imagination. she dismisses it hastily and lays down using the back pack as a pillow. A restless sleep ensues, dreams of her former life in the Temple, friends that may never be seen again, routines that are now beyond what could be hoped for. A dramatic nightmare in which Maya is cut down by several Sith wielding Lightsabers.

Tora snaps awake, hitting her head on a crate that she had her back too. That’ll leave a mark…

They seem to have left atmosphere and entered hyperspace, as the rumble of the engines is all that can be heard now. Her eyes have adjusted to the poor lighting in the room now, revealing a sloppily stacked assortment of crates and canisters containing who knows what.

Tora closes her eyes, but prolonged stress and exhaustion make it impossible to meditate.

Dominant foot back, left arm held parallel to Lightsaber. Right hand held nearly behind her, Lightsaber in hand. Tora takes a deep breath and ignites the saber.

Training has been a flawless way to clear her mind. She begins with a few basic strokes, imitating long practiced blocks and counter attacks that had been drilled in from hours of practice in the traditional Lightsaber form Soresu. The blade moves at blindingly fast speed, illuminating the room with a frosty blue light.

Tora repeats this for over half an hour, until nearly drenched with perspiration and breathing heavily. She imagines it looked pretty impressive, but stifles the pride as soon as it rises and sits down.

“That was exhausting.” Tora says between breaths, needing to hear something other than the rumbling engines.

“That was impressive.” Answers an unfamiliar voice from the darkness.

Tora quickly stifles a scream, caught off guard by the voice. She draws he knees up to her chin, Lightsaber held tightly. Had one of the crew entered without her noticing? Was there someone else in the cargo bay the entire time? Was fatigue and emotions causing her to imagine things that weren’t there?

“Sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you.” The voice says sounding rather embarrassed. It has a rather boyish sound to it, as if it should belong to someone her age.

“Who are you? Where are you?” Tora answers quickly, looking around almost frantically. Her eyes have not yet adjusted to the lighting, still used to the brightness of the blade.

“Uh, about ten feet away, opposite side, of the cargo bay.” Slight pause and some shuffling. “Sitting against the big wooden crate.”

As she focused through the darkness, she could make out a figure. He’s dressed in civilian like clothing with relatively long dark hair. As she makes these observations he stands up abruptly, igniting an electric blue blade, held parallel with his body, revealing the rest of his features.

He certainly looked about to be upper teens. There was something strange about him though that she can’t place.

He turns the saber off and takes a few steps forward, sitting in front of her cautiously.

“Guess I thought I was alone.” She says, smiling cautiously.

“Yeah.” He says with a slight laugh.

“I wonder what’s happening there, on Construct.”

The boy changes his expression to be rather sympathetic, “I don’t think I want to know…” he says quietly, almost a whisper.

Tora bites bit her lip, he had a point.

“I’m not sure how to tell you this, but you getting on this ship has complicated some things.” He says dryly.

“Wha, what do you mean?” That was rather unexpected and confusing, how does this complicate anything?

“This ship, unknown to the pilots, is bait.”

“Bait? For what? Why?”

“Pirates.”

Pirates? Why would this ship be pirate bait, it’s carrying a bunch of useless cargo.

“How so?” she finally asked.

“My goal was to sabotage the engine’s so the crew has to launch a distress beacon, a big target for any pirates out there.” His voice is calm and honestly a bit disturbing. Why he’s doing this still isn’t clear.

“Uh, yeah, pirates. I, I don’t see the point in doing that though. Isn't that a bad idea?”

“Well in normal circumstances, yes. It’s a horrible idea.” The boy gives a sly smile and continues, “But that’s exactly what I want.”

“Why?” Tora is becoming frustrated by now.

“Because if this goes as planned we’ll end up in outskirts of Kashyyyk.”

A simple glare conveys her feelings though she uses words because this boy doesn't seem to be that bright. “That’s even worse, Kashyyyk space is filled with slavers.”

“That’s exactly what I need.” He says, unphased.

“I don’t think I want to know why then.”

“Probably.”

“Though I can see why this complicates things.”

He nods.

“Don’t worry, we have quite a while to go before getting to Kashyyyk. About four days.” He states this in a rather matter-of-fact way.

“Great….” This was much longer than she had hoped to be stuck in a cargo hold with nothing to pass the time.

“You won’t hate me forever, my incredible charm and stunning body will melt through your harden exterior!” The boy stands up, striking a heroic pose with one foot propped up on a box.

“You’re ridiculous.” Tora said but couldn’t help but laugh at him.

He promptly kicks the top off the container and begins to rummage in its contents, retrieving (presumably) a piece of food he shoves it in his mouth and turns around.

“Mmm, this is pretty good, you want some?” He breaks off the bottom half of the food, which looks similar to a long pretzel, and offers it to Tora.

“Uh, no.”

“Your loss.” And he shoves the rest in his mouth.

After unceremoniously eating the stick and taking a gulp of (again guessing) water he leans against the box. “So what’s your name girly?”

Resisting the urge to roll her eyes or punch him in the face Tora answers. “Tora. Tora Solotov, Jedi Padawan.”

“Tora. Nice name.” he says thoughtfully. “Padawan huh? You’ve got pretty good moves, Soresu, if memory serves me right.”

“Yeah and your name?”

“Frey. I, uh, use several forms.”

“Ah, such as?”

“Ataru, Juyo. I also have trained in Shien and Djem So though not as extensive. I’m a bit of a nerd when it comes to Lightsaber combat, relentlessly training in it and studying it.”

Wow. That many forms from one person? He probably had training in Shii-Cho as well if he was from The Order. Who is this boy, Frey?

“We can, uh spar if you’d like. There’s no chance of them hearing us there’s too much metal between the cargo bay and cockpit, plus they are oblivious to most noise anyways.”

“Sure....” This is probably a bad idea, she didn't know anything about this boy other than he's crazy. None the less Tora reaches and tones down the lightsaber's power to as far she dared, still enough to sting, burn, bruise and possibly cut hair or skin but it wouldn’t kill. Plus Tora is wearing armor weave so that should create some good protection.

Tora takes the traditional Soresu ready stance. Frey takes a strange stance for such ferocious fighting styles, both hands on the Lightsabers handle, blade held low and facing frontwards. His posture is relaxed and calm. Another misfit in him.

“Good luck, Frey.”

“I don’t need luck.” He answered coldly, and pulled the blade from his side to directly above him, brining it crashing down towards her.

The speed at which he performed the maneuver was astonishing, causing her to take a step backwards in order to block it without falling over. He begins raining similar blows from all directions, using the acrobatic speed associated with Ataru and the chaotic unpredictability of Juyo. Whenever Tora attempts a counter attack he skillfully parries it or dodges it. The wall is quickly approaching as well. If he kept this up she would be out in less than half a minute. She switches to Shii-Cho during a half second where Frey steps back to avoid a counter attack.

Not hesitating to bring the fight to him, Tora begins pressing the attack with a series of attacks to get him moving backwards. This strategy works for about five seconds, studying his face she realizes rather than the grim look he had while attacking, Frey appears almost cheerful at her assault.

Upon reaching mid ground however, he quickly turns the tables. A quick parry followed by meeting her blade in the air with his, interrupting her attack and he resumes the relentless onslaught that was only temporarily put on hold. Tora is forced to resort to Soresu once again.

Tora comes to a quick realization. He’s toying with me, he wants to see what I’m capable of. With that kind of skill he could have killed me in seconds.

Determined to show him she isn’t a pushover she begins counter attacking more frequently, refusing to back off even in the face of his over powering blows. He raises his saber preparing an attack that would surely break her defense. this is my chance.

Tora switches from a blocking position, to attack, ducking down and swinging the lightsaber horizontally at his waist line, with the position he is in it should be impossible for him to block or dodge this.

Should be.

Frey smiles, at her attack, bending his body towards her blade. He twist his body around, left foot leaving the ground and going upwards. The other foot soon follows and Frey’s entire body flys over Tora’s blade. He lands to her right, both feet on hitting the ground and he skillfully brings his lightsaber down on her exposed shoulder.

Tora’s blade sweeps hard to the left; her eyes however tracked Frey through the air. His blade comes blindingly fast down. This is going to hurt…

The defeated Padawan closes her eyes, clenching teeth to avoid any cries of pain that may come.

Nothing

Tora carefully opens her eyes, relaxing her shoulders slightly. The blue blade was hovering barely a centimeter above her shoulder, Frey’s face almost grinning.

She collapses to her hands and knees in relief and exhaustion.

“That was, incredible. How… how did you do that?” She manages between heavy breaths.

“Practice.” He answers quickly, sliding down the side of a crate to a sitting position.

Tora rolls over, lying on her back, enjoying the cold durasteel floor.

“Countless hours of practice.” Frey manages eventually. He runs his fingers through his sweat drenched hair then opens the canteen he had drank from earlier.

Tora pulls herself off the floor and crawls to the backpack she brought. Unzipping it shakily she pulls a water bottle out and opens it. The clean, cool water pours down her throat. After swallowing the water Tora sets the bottle down and leans against the crate.

“That was unreal. I can’t even believe it.”

Frey lets out a small laugh, “Don’t give me too much credit now.”

As he speaks Tora watches him carefully, becoming less and less sure of his age. His body would indicate the same age, maybe younger; his skill however seems to indicate him being older. Of course it would feel weird to ask so she stows the question for later.

The final day has come, it is mere minutes away from when Frey plans to strike. They passed the time in many ways, he told stories that made her wonder more about his strange boy, they ate a variety of food from the crates, and sparred some more. Of course this time he took it slower, helping correct any mistakes in her form. He seemed to know Soresu well even if he didn’t claim too.

He breaks the silence speaking in his calm voice. “I’ll be back, get your things together, and hide that lightsaber, there’s some civilian clothing in the crate your leaning on, you don’t want to be suspected as a Jedi now. I’m sure the slavers won’t hesitate to sell you to the Sith for a high profit. Whatever happens just go with it.”

“Well that sounds simple enough… Wait you intend for us to be captured by these slavers???” Tora said in sudden realization and horror.

“Uhh…”

“Frey…” She begins tensely, clenching her teeth to calm her anger. After a deep breath she continues frankly, “You are one weird kid sometimes.”

“I better get going.” Frey stands up to leave.

“What exactly is your plan?”

“Rearrange some circuitry, short out the hyper drive, fry something important in the engines.”

“I assume by ‘rearrange’ you mean stick your lightsaber in it?”

Frey gives a mischievous grin and heads for the door.

“If you don’t come back?”

He stops, looking back at her question with a thoughtful expression. “Then enjoy your ride to the edge of the galaxy.” He says cheerfully and quickly opens the door, slips through and shuts it again.

“May the force be with you…” Tora says quietly after he leaves.

Goals: “I’ve given up on living, I just want to survive.”

Relationships:
Frey
Tora has no idea what to think about this boy. No solid information other than he is crazy, skilled and force sensitive. Frey has not revealed any other information about himself so far, though if they both survive this she plans to question him thoroughly.

This isn't a bad profile at all. You might consider using some spoilers to split up the biography; it'll make it more manageable. That's not mandatory of course. In regards to your use of the first person, particularly outside of the biography, I'd recommend that you make sure it is consistent throughout. I noticed that your description of her lightsaber forms is written in first person and the remainder of her basic information is recorded in third. If they are consistently written in the same format, your readers are going to feel a pattern and a personality beyond mere description, and it'll strengthen your profile. Good start.

Thanks for the advice, after rereading it I can see your point. I'll polish it up tomorrow.
