Yea, i know it has shared elements with WoW and other mmo's but the thing is i don't think it did them better or even as well. The game has some unique and interesting features but I feel as though that's where the design ends. There's nothing truly innovative about it and that's what the mmo scene needs right now.

Standard is very much how this game plays, being cynical here but its an mmo for the money making element first, with entertainment tacked on.

They should have just made a more expansive KotoR 3 with highly intergrated co-op options.

Its not even released yet and i'm sick of the excessive babbling about stats and loot pick ups, the beauly of single player games is the immersion factor which always spoiled by mmo mechanics.

Once i've played through the story of each class TOR may well be getting dumped.

see I sort of lean the opposite in the sense that it's very story driven and good immersion. Once it's out of the gate, and had a few good patches I can't find myself getting tired of it easily, I think because I also solo, but then stay on RP servers

What Im still up in the air about is the legacy system...Namely " what can legacy xp be spent on, and what creation options unlock with legacy...and can the character that unlocked it put those new options to use. Right now legacy is only a name and a xp gain but the details are still slight on the whole scope of it.

Aye a suppose i see what you mean, just abit grumped out today (hate short days, long nights..)

Actually playing the beta gave me some ideas towards RPing/short story writing again, I made two identical looking characters, one a Bounty hunter the other a Republic trooper - Mandalorian twins who set out into the galaxy to forge their destinies.

the access is staggered, you'll get in depending on when you redeemed your code. I did mine in october and prob still only get in a day before launch...

Plus you have to delete the beta and re-download it.... fun
