Korriban
It was an opportunity of a lifetime and Theia wasn't going to let no pAdAwAn ReStRiCtIoNs stop her from going to Korriban for what was supposed to be the party of the century. The curiosity of the galaxy seemed to hold the ruby desert planet closely to its eye as hyperspace travel suddenly exploded to the once believed to be abandoned world of the Sith (or at least it was what her history books have told her); she did understand its connection to the dark side, but that was as far as her knowledge went. However, Theia wasn't going to this world to do buzzkill jedi research, she was simply going as just Theia Durand, that teen from Naboo.
When she arrived, she was quick to spend credits, being a sucker for shiny things and the markets seemed to be packed with nothing but shiny things. She was smitten by the gold jewelry and the intricate designs that were so well worked, it looked as though it took generations to perfect. Every so often, Theia found herself looking down at her new gold cuff bracelet or gently touching the gold drop earrings she had picked up. There were so many different smells of spices that filled the air she was uncertain where it came from or if Korriban just naturally smelled this good. Besides vendors there was entertainment everywhere; from dancers that jingled with their medallion belts and others that would eat fire or even swords without even flinching. There was enough happening that Theia had to stop every so often to reorient herself, which seemed to always conclude with a snack at hand. Meats, pastries, fruits, she was going to be so sick in the morning from all the rich foods. Though she was most fascinated by the caf maker who warmed her a small cup with heated sand, and after that cup of caf, she had enough energy to run non-stop for the length of the celebrations.
Dusk was approaching and fireworks were being launched all around the city, people still partying, singing, dancing, and the holo's giving play by play recaps of the wedding ceremonies. Theia paused eventually to watch along side other girls who looked about her age.
"That Ilyan is so lucky, I wish I can marry a King like him..."
"No way, I would rather want to grow up in the palace like Princess Thalisa, just imagine everyone serving you."
"He is so hot... you think he would take another wife? Maybe me?"
"No way, me!"
Theia grinned to herself as the girls started to bicker and Theia let out a long sigh, finding the Korriban King was handsome as others observed; it was something about how effortlessly serious he seemed drew in a mystery to people like herself. Or maybe it was a teenager thing like her Mama would tell her when she talked about the dreamy polo players at the other academy. She found herself starring for a long time at the holo, flashing many images of the King, her cheeks turning bright red when she eventually realized she probably was watching for a bit too long.
