Cassir has been trekking through these forests for quite a while time, he is looking for one of the Rain Dancers that he's read about. Cassir's squire training is going about as well as it can go and he's taking a break from it. He was especially intrigued by what he learned about the Rain Dancers. If what he read is true, they have a significant connection to the Force and they can develop Force Bonds with others. Cassir is a beginner when it comes to using the Force, but he wants to try, or to see them with his own eyes at the very least. If nothing else it would be a learning experience.

The Squire had backpack with him that had some food and other supplies for a trip into the forest, he had his vibrosword with him as well and a holstered blaster pistol as well just in case. Cassir didn't bring anything with him that would give away which faction he is with.

After traveling for hours, Cassir would stop, check his dataphone and look at the maps. Signal is weak, but if what Cassir gathered is correct, down the path he is heading he should be to where some Rain Dancers were reportedly sighted. Cassir would try to feel the force around him, but his abilities in force sense are still rather lacking.

After having a drink of water from his canteen and putting stashing it away, he would proceed.

Lieutenant Rhonwen was trecking through the jungle forest, her eyes scanning her surroundings in the hopes of catching sight of what she was here for. The small scaled creatures known as rain dancers were known to live in the nearby wilderness but they were illusive creatures which was why the Chiss had yet to see one.

The ISB officer was using one of her few days off to pursue her own interests. Rain dancers that were domesticated early on in their lives were said to make force bonds with their owners. But Clarr'honwe'nuruodo was not force sensitive so she wondered what that would be like.

In addition to her curiosity she also wished to immerse herself in the wilderness. This was a chance to see where the woman lacked and where she excelled. A hike through a fungi covered jungle with giant crab like spider monsters could prove to be dangerous which was why she had come prepared.

The only thing from the agent's normal equipment that she had brought along was her personal shock boxing gloves, utility belt, and T series protocol droid. The small handheld machine had been wiped periodically and was currently powered down since Rhonwen preferred to try her own hand at communicating first.

A personav and disposable commlink were stowed in respective pockets on her casual hiking attire. She had simple blast vest on underneath her civilian clothes. A M3 stun pistol was kept in a concealed holster underneath her left armpit since it could pack a decent punch though it was quite small and easy to hide. More obviously was a F-11d blaster rifle which was slung behind her but could still be drawn forward with ease if the need arose. A vibro-machete was sheathed on her back between her and her backpack. The folliage had thankfully not been too dense so far.

The woman began to slow down as she noticed a change in her surroundings. The sounds of the local fauna had changed. While it had been the same around Clarr'honwe'nuruodo for the past hour since lannding, it now was beginning to change to have some trills from a song bird, a warble from an insect, these were interesting sounds but their nature what what peaked the Chiss's interest. Having stopped, she had time to catch sight of a patch of soft dirt recently disturbed. Taking a moment to examine it, it looked like a foot print. She was not alone out here.

Not waiting long, the ISB officer headed in the direction of the tracks, taking care to do her best to not leave any her own. But the soft ground made that difficult. She doubted she would make a sneaky approach and a dozen questions rose to the forefront of her mind. But she was calm and patient. This safari for rain dancers might turn into something more interesting than Rhonwen could have anticipated.

The form of a slightly bent over man came into view as she came around a large mushroom. The individual was just beginning to stow away what looked like a canteen. All signs had suggested he was alone and the slight infrared spectrum that her biology gifted her, told her there were no indications of threats.

Rather than continue to have the two of them wander around one another out in the wilderness, Clarr'honwe'nuruodo decided it would be most beneficial if she made her presence known in a pleasant manner. First she cleared her throat softly and stepped out to reveal herself. When she spoke, she did so with a flawless Corellian accent. "Good morning...or...good afternoon maybe. Do you know the time?" She asked even though she knew the answer. Tourists tended to get mixed up when traveling to planets with entirely different day and night cycles so she thought she would play the part.

Felucia skies had been a common training grounds for the Imperial Air Corps for years, its perfect landscape and stunning views were rumored to raise pilot morales when they were stuck for hours navigating within a cockpit. This morning was no different but rather than a training exercise, Grayson had taken the Aquiliae starfighter on a simulated mission. Using virtual protocols, the navicomm replicated several ravines as well as enemy aircraft with laser fire through its glass display screen.

Reacting to these threats, the starfighter would barrel roll through the sky while Grayson steadily applied a forward pressure on its throttle lever, speed increasing into its higher limits. The Aquiliae zipped through air above the region the other two travellers had found themselves, a faint screeching noise emitting from the turbines. However, as Grayson navigated carefully, red lights began flashing in the cockpit along with alert message stating "LEFT ENGINE FAILURE".

"What the fuck?" Grayson snarled, assuming that this issue had been already fixed on this aircraft in the past. He let out a long sigh, before attempting to fix the issue himself. He flipped up several switches before hitting a red button to kill the power to the left engine.

Nope, didn't work.

"God Damnit!"

Grayson switched the power off to the other engine, the aircraft slowly descending past the safe hard deck of 1000 feet. Continuing to play with the other switches, he finally successfully killed global power supply as the starfighter slide down with plume smoke exiting from its left chassis. Wheels deployed and the Aquiliae smashed onto the terrain with an unwelcoming, rolling stop. Grayson yanked the cockpit open with a sliding thrust, removing the helmet from his armored form, he tossed it back into his ship as he stepped onto the ground. The engines being too hot to work on immediately, he sighed for a moment knowing he'd be stuck here for several hours.

Just then though, he shifted his attention to the side to view what seemed like a man and a blue skinned woman in the near distance.

"My apologies if that interrupted your morning walk, our mechanics should really do a better job sometimes.."

It really was beautiful here. The sights, and then the sounds of everyday jungle life. It was grand. If Cassir wasn't able to find the Rain Dancers, at least he have something to remember. Cassir would continue his journey until he stopped when he heard movement. He would stop and look in the direction. Oh he would see a blue-skinned female (@Darasuum) come around from a large mushroom. Cassir isn't well versed to know about the Chiss species, so the first thing that came to mind was that she was a Pantoran. She was a well-armed traveler, which isn't anything out of the ordinary. She greeted him and he would greet back, she seemed a little lost on what time it is. "Oh, hello there!" he would reply, then he would check his dataphone real quick "Good afternoon. It's 1300 local" he gave the time and smiled towards here. Cassir was curious as to what she was doing here too. It wasn't suspension or anything, he would innocently ask. "You looking to find the Rain Dancers too?" he would kindly ask..

After she would answer (or not), Cassir could ear the sounds of mechanically blaring and screeching, looking that way he would see a starfighter (@Faded) diving downwards poised for a rough landing. "Get back" Cassir would suggest to the blue-skinned lady as he would step a meter away to put more distance between the craft, he would also get in front of her to shield her from the dirt the craft would kick into the air and raise his arm to shield his eyes as well.

After the dirt settles, the Knight trainee can see that the downed starfighter is starfighter of Imperial make and model. He would rush over towards the smoking fighter. A pilot emerged, so he's alive. "Are you hurt? Do you need medical attention" the Squire asked the Imperial pilot with concern, Cassir would drop his backpack on the ground. Can't be too bad if he can casually apologize for interrupting and making quips.
