"To Justify the Means", backroom Senate Storyline

Desperate times require desperate measures, and desperate measures can lead to disasterous mistakes. Members of the Republic intelligence comunity have been observing an enemy that is unpredictable, brutal, and worse: winning. Over the last cycle, many ideas once unthinkable were being explored as a means to turn the tide. Few were finished or approved, but the most sinister still lives, and threatens to tear down it's makers and countless millions of lives along with them.

The officials involved tried to end it once, but left a very loose end under the bus. Now that loose end may be there best shot.

So this is an interst check to ask for Senator's and/or Military officials with a "whatever it takes" attitude to RP some fun backroom style scenes, and share a role in this larger Storyline idea I want to create.

If you think your Republic toon could be the type to get involved in the espionage & subtrefuge, or R & D military programs, etc... let me know! i don't want to give away to much of the story yet, but suffice to say, you will be forming a permanant relationship (good or bad is yet to be determined) with my Diva toon, and will be able to take some credit for the fate of the Bounty Hunter's Guild.

Lemme know below if/why your charrie fits the bill, or if you are intersted in some other way, as this will go well beyond the top-brass, and even the republic as it develops.

I'll offer my private investigator up for this, his background is in contract enforcement, police work and private security. Potentially a good goon to have around, and with a background ranging from Czerka all the way through to the Sector Rangers; hopefully he could be of use.

Captain Tygo Hulas, commander of the Admiral DeWitt Hammerhead-class Corvette, was taught his trade by the Sacred Band of Ziost and so far has seen not only a different style of warfare being employed by the Republic, but a lacking one at that. Favoring the more aggressive approach, he's eager to see what he can do to get that same approach in the head of his superiors, or climb the ranks himself.

Because this involves the Bounty Hunter's Guild, I'd like to make known my own eagerness to involve Jace Lorso. He's not a member of the Republic, having joined the intelligence branch of the Accord after Diva's disappearance, but despite the Accord's do-good attitude, he's quite the devious schemer and on his way to earn his place among the Genoharadan.

@Nor'baal There is currently a bounty on Diva, or perhaps he was hired specifically to find her after she vanished by one of many conceivabley interested parties

@Ecclessey Your captain could easily be concievable as a consultant in private intelligence meetings assesing weapons and tactics to use against the Sith. Maybe he was a lower ball player but was close enough to know the classified intel. As far as jace, have no fear. There will be ample means for my ol' Bounty babies to come back to me. For one....see the above note on Diva's Bounty.
