First and foremost on promotions is how active a Jedi you are. If you are going out there and fighting for Justice and protecting the Republic, you will find yourself being rewarded. The best way to get promoted is to get active on the rp forum in threads already created such as attacks against the Jedi or by the Jedi missions that are up and available for the taking.
Masters and padawans, I expect to receive word from a Jedi Master when he or she believes their padawan is ready to be promoted to a Knight status. Padawans, this does not mean you can't act on missions or get involved in these other threads either. If I see you active and doing a good job in an rp, I will discuss the idea of a promotion with your master if he or she has not already suggested one.
