Sith Space
Korriban - Sith Academy

Vetas stood at the precipice of one of Korriban's many craggy outcroppings, the hot, arid air billowing by his dark-cloaked self as a ship came to land a small distance away from him on more level ground. Vetas hardly paid it much mind as his eyes fell upon a certain tomb out of the menagerie that Korriban possessed littered about it's surface. Only when he heard the scuffling of the Academy Overseer approaching, followed shortly by the scuffling of the group of prospective Apprentices, did he turn to acknowledge the old, hunched Overseer. His skin a pallid white, his teeth a rotted yellow and his eyes were all but black voids to match the ink-black veins that fanned out across his bald head, face and neck. The Overseer bowed a bit, using the staff clutched tightly in a gnarled hand as support as he gurgled in a voice fit only for someone used to laughing maniacally "My Lord...."

Vetas did not wear his armor here on Korriban, and instead opted for simpler black robes to help combat the harsh environment. As such his deep blue eyes, laced with what appeared to be burning red fissures like a spiderweb, swept from the Overseer's hunched form to the line-up of initiates. There were six of them in total and nearly all of them were a different species. While Vetas himself would no-doubt appear a simple human, his eyes scanned over two Humans, a Rodian, a Nav'ir, a Twilek and a Bothan of all things. Taking a moment to wave a hand at the Overseer the elderly Sith would begin to hobble back towards the transport that had brought him here. Vetas, then, turned his burning gaze onto each and every initiate personally as he spoke. Starting with the two humans, who, in stark contrast to one-another, either met his eyes with a snarling, animalistic defiance or nervously locked gazes with him before turning away. His voice beginning to fill the air as his gaze swept to the Rodian and the alien's elongated mouth puckered in fear before he looked at the ground.

"Now then, Initiates, you have all been brought here because you have been deemed worthy of becoming my Apprentice." He let this statement hang in the air for a moment before motioning to the tomb behind him "As such, all of you have displayed potential enough not to die here, and have but one last test to prove your worth..." Vetas gaze would then travel to the Bothan and the apparently female Bothan did not seem at all phased by him. Vetas continued to speak in the meantime "That test, is to journey below into this tomb and recover an ancient holocron. The one who successfully returns the device to me, personally, will become my Apprentice. All others..." Vetas' gaze now fell on Nati as he emphasized the end of his statement "... will either die in the tomb, or be ended by my own hand. Vetas' cool-blue eyes would flare a bit more red as he stared into the Navir's yellow eyes, the spiderweb of blazing, hellish red just 'beneath' the blue of his iris' intensifying for a moment before he nodded "Lastly, if you MUST kill each-other, you will do so out of my sight...... Begin."

The other initiates seemed a bit.... taken aback for a single breathe. Suddenly, the Bothan shoved Nati back before she sprinted forward past Vetas and jumped down the outcropping, with the other initiates seemingly collectively snapping to their senses and following her even as she sprinted ever-closer to the tomb.

Fenrir'Nati had gathered and lined up with several other initiates and acolytes in preparation for the arrival of Vetas meer minutes before the sith had came to them. The old, twisted overseer had tirelessly tested the would-be sith for years allowing them to hone their craft and become exemplary darkside practitioners prior to their final trials to become sith. The overseer's favorite disciple had to be the Bothan girl, ambitious and aggressive by nature while having little issue "accidentally" doing something that would lead to the death or injury of another one of her peers. Nati, in contrast was passive and went with the flow of things with only small outbursts showing the full potential of the darkside. He was aggressive and even savage when he wanted to be, but primarily opted to be mute and let his emotions be displayed through his actions.

As a black figure revealing themselves to be a member of the sith order looking for an apprentice Nati looked on in apathy. No words on the initial meeting except silently to himself. As the sun and winds battered the group of people every acolyte listened with their full attention to what Vetas has to say to them and what their final trial would be. The task seemed simple enough, kill all of the other competitors and get the item their potential master wanted. A fetch quest with extra steps. After the man finished his speech to the initiates they were off, the bothan girl starting out headstrong pushing her competition. The only thing said by the person being pushed was, "Kunta Tun!", or 'fuck you!' in Ryl. All was fair in war so the second the trial began the Nav'ir grabbed the leg of the Rodian in a tight grip before releasing and going on his way. When touching the alien's leg however, the moment contact was made all heat was siphoned from it until that entire limb became nearly frozen solid. They had lost feeling in their thigh, and most blood below the knee was stuck below the knee.

Cryokinesis was a technique thoroughly enjoyed by the purple feline compared to the other energy manipulations that a force user can utilize. This was because he wasn't a very active person, he was more reactive and controlling. Fire and lightning seem nice but cold allows for cheeky displays like the one just shown. Nati, after catching up with the majority following his first attack, decided to lay low. He wanted to wait out the heavy hitters, who would likely take themselves out in fights between one another while also taking out the weaker threats that were stupid enough to get in the way. He didn't try to race up to the front of the line when running, or even the middle. He was content with being in the back for the long haul then killing whoever got the artifact first.

Within a few seconds or so after starting all initiates find their way inside the tomb, rushing in to either get the holocron or attack one of their peers depending on the acolyte in question. Nati quickly started off in the tomb by attempting to shock one of the humans with force lightning, planning to hopefully stun them and cut bloodflow to the brain through the use of cryokinesis once any distance was closed with a hand to their head.
