DESCRIPTION
The TN-Y is a heavy cargo vehicle, better known as a repulsortruck or speeder truck. The type is manufactured by the venerable Pan-Galactic Power Products, a massive industrial firm which produces everything from starships to kitchen utensils. One of the company's best-selling utility vehicles, the TN-Y is an aging design, but is ubiquitous across the known Galaxy in various commercial applications, and even serves as a personal transport in some areas.

The TN-Y is part of PGPP's TN range of utility vehicles, and though it is not the best known of all its siblings, it is the largest. Designed as a durable, reliable, capable transport for cargo and personnel, it achieves these criteria nicely. The TN-Y seats 4, including 1 driver and 3 passengers; more could be carried in the cargo bed, standing on unused cab floor space and on the running boards, but this is not advised by the manufacturer. The vehicle can haul up to 10 standard tons of cargo, and has self-adjusting repulsors and auto-leveling systems to compensate for unbalanced loads. Speed is not impressive for a repulsorcraft, about 125 kph flat out, but the TN-Y's performance on rough terrain is better than most other landspeeder-type vehicles. Standard equipment includes a pair of road-illuminating spotlights, heavy-duty bumpers and an integrated comlink.

LEGALITY
Legal. TN-Y repulsortrucks are civilian models, and are unrestricted on most worlds.

INTENT
To create a standard heavy repulsortruck.
