I do not claim to be a smart man, nor do I claim to be a great man, nor do I even claim to be a good man. I am, however, a clever man. This galaxy we live in has no shortage of smart men, great men, brave men, and good men. However, there is a serious lack of clever men, especially in my culture. That is just who we are as a people. Tough, stubborn and, admittedly, brave. Stupid, though. Kal mirdir is the phrase I am found of using when describing the Mandalorian people. It means, to put in terms that most of the galaxy would use, warmongers. And admittedly, its who we are. We are warriors and we are farmers.

Oh we have other trades as well. The beskar trade, shipyards such as MandalMotors are of course integral to the Mandalorian economy. But here, here on Concord Dawn, this hardy planet. Our breadbasket is just that, a breadbasket. As any smart man may tell you, an army runs on its stomach, and here we are an army. And here, we are all vode. Vode an (brothers all)!

I want to bring this planet to the forefront of the Republic, I want to turn Concord Dawn into the embodiment of the Warrior Farmer, an agricultural and military superpower! Together, we can achieve this goal. With your vote, for me as Senator of Concord Dawn.

Who would you rather have? A warrior, or a farmer? Well why not vote for both. I was raised a farmer by my family, and when the time came I served twenty years abroad with my clan, fighting pirates and raiders. Keeping our system safe and bringing glory to my clan.

APPEARANCE:
Slightly over 5' 9'', Tionas is worn by war, scarred heavily on his torso from a particularly brutal battle with some raiders on the edge of Mandalorian space, and having lost his left eye during an equipment malfunction while working on his Clan's farm on Concord Dawn. He still maintains a powerful build, though not lacking in agility, honed from a lifetime of warfighting and farming. His eye is grey-blue and quite striking and he keeps his short, black hair well maintained.

ATTRIBUTES/SKILLS:
A natural born soldier, raised from birth as a warrior and a farmer, Tionas Skirata's strengths lie in melee weapon fighting and leadership. Twenty years patrolling Mandalorian space fighting a constant asymmetrical war against pirates and raiders gave him a mind built for thinking outside the box, coming up with alternative solutions both in combat and out of. This also lends to his ability to command fleets with unnerving skill.

A long memory and a short fuse (Munit tome'tayl, skotah iisa in Mandalorian) as a youth lead Tionas to developing thick skin and patience, lending him a hand to Mandalorian politics and Galactic Politics alike. However, when something finally does get under his skin there is no force in the Galaxy to hold back his wrath.

Conversely, his skills with blaster weapons are merely passable as are his mechanical skills. He does tend to view pacifists as weak, and inferior as leaders but not as people. He is tolerant of others cultures, except of course. The Jedi and the Sith.

PERSONALITY:
Tionas is a man of contradiction. At times he can be silent and thoughtful, and others he can be loud and boisterous. Prideful and humble, depending upon the situation. A man of convictions, when setting his heart upon a task, there is little that can stop him. At first he may seem outwardly cold and unapproachable, upon actually engaging with Tionas it is easy to find him agreeable and friendly enough. However, he does use this to his advantage, observing every reaction, calculating responses. For he is, indeed, a clever man.

BIOGRAPHY:
A Mandalore native, born into Clan Skirata and brought up as such, Tionas learned to drive on the seat of a tractor and learned to fight with his fathers vibrosword. From the age of eight and until he was sixteen, Tionas' life was equal parts farming and combat training. As tradition dictates, he went on his first real mission at the age of sixteen, and lead a group of other youths to victory against a sizable pirate gang hiding on a moon.

Once he turned nineteen, Tionas went on and joined the Mandalorian Fleet in patrolling both the Mandalore sector as well as patrolling the outer rim in general. Here he earned a reputation for being exceptionally adept at asymmetrical warfare, defeating dozens of pirate gangs along his career as well as assisting in putting down an uprising inside Mandalorian space.

After twenty years as an active warrior in the Mandalorian Fleet, he settled down on Concord Dawn to farm. Clan Skirata, at this point Tionas was a ranking member of the clan, had just started a new farm on the planet and he was the head of the new operation.

After another two years, the planet came under an unexpected and viscous pirate attack. This, of course, came to no surprise to the Concordians, and the Mandalorians mounted a stubborn defense, headed by Tionas himself. The battle lasted 52 hours, reaching its pitch when Tionas lead an assault onto the pirate held communications blocker, allowing the planet to signal the Mandalorian Fleet for help.

It was not long after the Assault on Concord Dawn that Tionas became the A'lor of Clan Skirata, and Tionas, having seen the vulnerabilities of having a decentralized military, began to campaign for the Concord Dawn Senate Seat. After having spent a lifetime fighting pirates and bandits, there was a new battlefield he intended to ride into. Politics.

I'm not sure if we've ever brushed paths before, we both have been here awhile so I assume we must have, but I'm excited you're joining the Republic!

Although the staff didn't post anything about it, it was more of a Think Tank initiative, we're trying to step away from literary profiles without any depth into at least personality and background. I'd love to see a bit more about Tionas' background, aspirations beyond simply making Concord Dawn 'Great Again.' However else you'd like to expand it is fine, but at least that would be spectacular.
