Thyr is stoic and level-headed like most of his species, managing to maintain a cool and professional attitude even in dire situations, this is also due to a number of bad things that happened in his life, making him very slightly detached from reality.
That comes with his own share of problems, one moment you would see a competent warrior willing to fight everything and everyone for his ideals, on the other some sort of joker that keeps joking and thinking this is some sort of game.
He doesn't care about most people opinion on things and speaks freely no matter the interlocutor, this can and does bring a load of problems when confronting an enemy or a hot-head as he would usually mock them between a word and another.
When not expanding Mandalorian Ideals in the galaxy, you would meet a Content and slightly Spiritual man, caring for his life and his comrades.

Skills
Thyr mostly fights with speed and deception more than blunt-frontline assaults, he moves a lot while fighting but doesn't dislike using cover.
His technological expertise is more a natural talent than a trained skill, given a blueprint and materials, he can build anything, but without the right papers, he can only help with things he already built/repaired as he's lacking on the more theoretical parts of it.
He's an average pilot, not capable of epic stunts or almost suicidal actions, but there's always room for improvement.
At last, while he's a Force-sensitive Thyr doesn't know about it, and so he never learned a single technique, if he was ever gonna have a lightsaber on his hands, he would cautiously use it like a simple sword.

Biography
Thyr, the Engineer, the Orphan, the Nomad, the Mando.
He was a Basaakith, a member of the sentient race of Atakithu, but he wasn't like them, he never was a Zealot of the Shugan's and he never believed in The First And Last, after all, no god could have given him his gift.
The little Thyr was born on the Mandalorian world of Concord Dawn, on the Homestead of the Amnis Clan, made up of his recently "Converted" Parents and himself.
His father was a Shaman from his homeworld, a person of influence for his old culture, but after witnessing a Mandalorian war-party actions, he had an illumination of sorts, like if the true path was being shown to him, and so he left his position, his people, and his customs to settle on the plains of Concord Dawn, leaning the Mandalorian ways and customs.
But sadly, this illumination wasn't present inside Thyr, that initially rejected these ways in favor of exploiting his so called "gift", an expertise on mechanical blueprints mixed with a photographic memory that made him able to understand complicated machinery on every level.
But as everything else, he yielded and started slowly adopting the Resol'nare near the age of 12, starting with the little things, like wearing armor and speaking Mando'a, moving into the defence of the family and contributing to the clan, but the last Action was the one that for now he couldn't experience...
...and these years made something sparkle inside him, much life how it happened for his father, but this time it was older, more primordial.
The Basaakiths have always been extremely religious as a whole, and this always showed up at some point, on one way or the other.
For Thyr, this was shown on his newfound devotion for the old Mandalorian Gods, while still maintaining belief on the Manda;
this radically changed him as he applied the Six Actions religiously in his everyday life, leaving his place in the family workshop to move for the more manual labor of working in the fields of his homestead, where he could also train in the art of war.
But it was going all too well to stay, and one normal day like another, after coming late from the fields he would see the disaster, both his parents were dead, but not by the hand of some assassin or enemy, but because of a simple virus that was present in their meal, he survived because of an accident and this scarred him deeply on an emotional level.
Ando so, after having thrown the ashes of his parents to the wind like tradition, "The Nomad" sold his homestead for an Oceanspray freighter, abandoning everything from his past life except for one, the Beskar'Gam of his father...
...now his own Beskar'Gam.
But after all the Drama, one Action was still undone by the Last of Clan Amnis.
"Rally to the Mandalore... This is something I can't teach, you'll know when its time"
And so, after having been an Engineer as a youngling and a Mercenary as an adult, it went the day where the Mandalore called...
...The Battle Of Coruscant.
Finally, Thyr was completely a Mandalorian, honoring his father's memory and bringing new-found life to the Amnis Clan, now it was time to rebuild.
