NAME: Thryykarr (AKA Thryk Vesker)
FACTION: Mandalorian (?)
RANK: Smith
SPECIES: Wookie
AGE: 57
GENDER: Male
HEIGHT: 6'2"
WEIGHT: 210 lbs
EYES: Gold
HAIR: Brown with silver bits
SKIN: Brown
CREDITS: 1000
DISTINGUISHING MARKS: The fur around his mouth is usually pulled into a sort of mustache/beard-like shape.
FORCE SENSITIVE: No

STRENGTH: Thryk is about average strength for a Wookie... Which is pretty damn strong by comparison to most of the galaxy.
DEXTERITY: While he's definitely fast, Thryk isn't the most agile of people when running around. Where his hands are concerned, though, he's a fast shot and good with the twin ryyk blades he carries around.
CONSTITUTION: Wookies are generally a healthy, hardy, bunch. Thryk is not an exception to this rule, even though he's an old man by human standards.
INTELLIGENCE: Thryk is a strategist, and a mastermind with technology. Unfortunately, that kind of goes out the window when he gets angry.
WISDOM: While the big fuzzball is almost ridiculously smart, he's not a cool-headed individual. He's not goaded into a fight at the drop of a hat, but he is more than willing to use his fists where he might have been able to talk his way out of a situation.
CHARISMA: Just the fact that Thryk can speak Basic is an improvement upon the normal Wookie diplomatic strategy. The surprise associated with that fact goes a long way when he's able to keep himself calm and collected, but all sweet-talk goes out the window when he gets angry.

PERSONALITY:
Thryk is basically an initially polite brawler. From a very young age, his adopted parents tried to teach him the Resol'nare, but his understanding of the all-encompassing Mandalorian code only extended to "wear some armor" and "fight well". That's a lot of what he enjoys doing. Tramping around the galaxy and fighting new and exciting people is both his work and his hobby. Thryk is a bit of a trash-talker, but he's always more than happy to back his words up with action, no matter what it was he said.

BIOGRAPHY:
Thryykarr's earliest memory has absolutely nothing to do with his Wookiee parents at all. He only remembers the sound of a droid's feet on scrap metal before being handed over to an armored person and being carried off to a village, where he was raised by Kai and Jayne Vesker, who soon began to see themselves as his father and mother. Oddly enough, there was no horrible thing that happened to inspire the young Thryk to become a warrior. The Vesker couple, being Mandalorians, were more than happy to be the inspiration themselves. As soon as the cute little furball could shoot a blaster, his parents gave him a helmet to wear and began bringing him on jobs.

In your charisma section it says he can speak basic. This is actually impossible for a wookie, they can understand other languages, but they can't speak them.

Erm... Legacy canon (Timothy Zahn, specifically) says differently.

Did that Wookie have such a bad speech impediment that she could understand him, but the other Wookie made fun of him? It's been a while, but I remember it wasn't such a good thing for him.

Yea they could learn to understand it from what I remember but they couldn't speak it from what I remember from the actual starwars guide.

New timeline won't be adhering to Legacy canon, only the new official canon. Sorry bruv, but if you want to play a wookie in the new timeline you better get used to typing "Thryykarr wurfled, attempting to convey x."

Nobody made fun of him, iirc... He was just slurring rs

I'll burn that bridge if it comes up. Mostly because this was the first character I ever RP'd anywhere, and he's always spoken basic >_<

Hmmm, so given the title "beskar juggernaut" and no specifications on what the suit is made of, I just thought I'd give you a heads-up you that Beskar is almost nonexistent in this timeline. Full beskar isn't allowed per site rules. At maximum you're allowed to have like a helmet and gauntlets made of beskar, and the rest has to be something else (usually durasteel or something comparable). Maybe that's what you intended, but I thought I'd let you know :)

Yeah. It's basically scraps of beskar with other heavy metals mixed in. I plan on subbing it, actually.

If we were really only going to use the new canon, then the amount of information available to us would be greatly diminished, so I'd say that's not exactly accurate.

As it stands, I think your best bet is to just have Thryykarr use a vocalizer to translate his speech into Basic. I seem to remember a Wookiee Jedi Master from the comics that did that.

I'm rewriting my character for the new timeline and her Jedi Master was a Kyuzo, they can't speak basic either, but he has a translator built into his breath mask.
