NAME: Thresh
FACTION: Sith Empire
RANK: Sith Acolyte
SPECIES: Human
AGE: 31
GENDER: Male
HEIGHT: 5"6
WEIGHT: 160 lbs
FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes, he is but rather a novice at the ability.

APPEARANCE:
He was a 5"6, 160 pound man but ever since he was taught the dark aspects of the force he had shown signs of corruption around his eyes and face. His skin looks more paler in contrast to his once peach tone skin and cracks/brusies around his mouth. He seemed to lose more weight and is now about 130 pounds.

Thresh always wears a helmet to conceal his face and hair. Under it he has two defining features, a huge claw mark scar that stretched from his temple to his chin.

The Claw mark was acquired from a nest of gundarks he had to escape from on Vanqor. He also has a bloodshot left eye from the blows he took from those creatures.

His face is bandaged up most of the time.

He wears a dark robe similar to a Sith Battle armor robes except it was torn due to aggressive training.

ATTRIBUTES:

Thresh had a muscular build for a man of his height and weight but after being exposed to the dark aspects of the force he has shown signs of corruption, his body losing weight considerable, his arms looking more lanky than his former archetype.

Able to do the heavy lifting when required by him. So he is considerably strong enough, he is very dexterous and resourceful when it comes to learning some lightsaber stances and fighting styles.

He is especially resilient and bold, able to hold out on his own for days, expelling whatever strength he has left till he's won the fight. He is very thoughtful and orderly about his actions along with the consequences from them.

Obsessed about making the next move and making it count. He doesn't act in vain therefore enabling him to act cautiously. However, this has a side effect. You see, despite being careful and orthodox he's often impatient and anticipating the first blow from the enemy.

He is intelligent enough to understand the concept of languages and how many they are but he hasnt learned or spoken any of about alot of them except Basic, this inspires him to seek out any knowledge the archives in the academy has to offer to satisfy his curiousity so he can improve his linguistic skills.

However, this has a drawback. Due to his thirst to learn more he goes out of his way to empty out the archives or any source of knowledge which distracts him from doing what he needs to do frequently. He also reads different works of literature across the galaxy due to his great interest in poems, anecdotes and lessons taught from each illustrations.

Thresh is also stubborn, but able to respect his authorities before him. His stubbornness comes from the feeling of danger or a premonition.

He is also boisterous when it comes to learning new fighting styles and battling an opponent.

PERSONALITY:

Thresh is often noticed as a studious, rough and rowdy person. However, being introverted he rarely shares any of his knowledge to anybody.

Thresh in combat however, is very aggressive, relentless and seething, doing whatever it takes to destroy an enemy force.

After the gundark incident it turned Thresh from reckless to an obsessive and orthodox person. Always thinking about rules and guidelines as well as the consequences of averting their standards. He is also obsessed over his authorities whom he respects. Often indirectly protecting them at all costs, ready to lay down his life for anyone whomever he also respects.

He isn't much of a talker, often introverted and deep within his studies. He shares a subtle sense of humor, sometimes rather dark. He is also kind to those who have treated him right over the years that follow, however he often gets turned off and ignores the person whenever they insult him either in front of him or behind his back.

He displays a pattern of unstable relationships with his comrades sometimes, often greatly idealizing them at first then thinking them as nothing the next. Thresh shows numerous signs of trust issues, often depending on himself to get his problems out of the way and tasks done.

He hates being abandoned and even feels furious and vulnerable at the thought of it.

BIOGRAPHY:

Thresh was born on the remote planet of Batuu, and as a child he enjoyed the solitude and quiet of the planet. He was without a mother for as long as he could remember, and his father refused to explain what had happened to her when he received the inquiry.

His father’s past was largely hidden from the boy, up until around the age of 7. Near this time, Thresh had began to experience painful, debilitating experiences involving poverty and continuous misfortune that would soon plague the family based on the force visions and nightmares he experienced.

This would be his first experiences with the Force and when his father had discovered this, he had no other choice but to explain what these visions meant. And soon, Thresh was forced into a rabbit hole which was an invitation to devastating threat he had never encountered in his life.

Thresh's father was apparently, was a sith learning on Korriban from the academy casted out by his peers and authorities alike after questioning their decisions and defying their orders more than once. He was almost scheduled for execution at one point but managed to avoid this by only acting out of forethought, he managed to escape fortunately, but little did he know, they were keeping tabs on him.

Later in his life, after heading to the Unknown Regions sector of the Galaxy. Thresh's father married a beautiful woman named Hailena and settled with her on Batuu giving birth to a baby boy named Thresh. However, even though they were living as any happy family should, they kept secrets from each other. Secrets they weren't ready to share or express, this lead to the marriage failing and becoming unstable. Sometimes they were fighting, his father pulling back sometimes to avoid hurting or worse, killing her.

The wife then decided that maybe settling with the man was a mistake. So, she left him and Thresh at such a tender age without saying a word. The father reacted to this by attempting to track her and see her again but, due to past differences, he thought it would've been best to not make it worse.

The father then raised the boy on his own, sharing him stories about the hundred year darkness, the amount of Sith there were, the force itself, the abilities and how they operated in battle, even went on to how much people they have slaughtered. From that age, he began to harbor a love for stories and literature as well as craving more knowledge of the mysterious entity known as the force.

But after Thresh knew all of this, he was still saddened, but at the same time enraged. He wanted to yell at his father, curse at him and even leave him himself. He also felt some amount of sympathy for the man for trying to make the marriage work, have a better childhood and for the secrets being kept from him as well. It resonated off the boy; the anger, hatred and sadness. The father could sense it, he couldn't blame him. However, that didn't make the man love his own son any less, so he decided to teach him certain ways of the force.

He began teaching the boy how to harness it's essence and wield it like a tool but also a weapon in times of distress. Teaching him all he had learnt from some ancient texts that took up dust within the academy, he felt like the boy at the age of 26 had learnt all the father had known over the years.

However, he was still inexperienced with dealing with real threats and lightsabers. So the father decided to take the boy turned man on a trip to Vanqor, on that rocky planet he was taught important lessons on survival, the threats that can arrive and his trusty tool, the lightsaber. There was one problem though, the boy was too impatient, even though he looked like a man he still carried the maturity of a boy.

Thresh was eager to start fighting and using his new found knowledge to put it effectively on other so called threats. That was when, the father decided to wait till it was night fall and until the boy was fully asleep. There his true role came into play, the father kicked the boy into a ditch and disappeared before he could wake up.

Thresh perplexed by this and feeling betrayed began yelling at his father and cursing at him some more before ultimately laying down in defeat. Thresh then realized eventually why he was put here, he wanted a challenge so..here it was. He got up and dusted himself off, he then heard disgruntled roars of a nearby creature dwelling deep within the cave walls. Without hesitation and with boldness he enters the cave, armed with a single, unstable lightsaber given by his father.

Thresh using his survival rules given by his father managed to avoid certain predators roaming about, except for one in particular, the beast in question was a gundark guarding her nest of fledgelings. The gundark lunged and attacked the boy from all sides, Thresh managed to barely deflect most of the attacks. Some of the gundark's claws tearing and ripping into his clothes, his face was scarred in the aftermath and one of his eyes were bloodshot. This filled the boy with enough adrenaline and anger to strike back with such devastating blows after the Matriarch Gundark's forearms and body to the point where it staggered backwards, upon striking it into the head for a final attack the matriarch was down for the count.

The boy got up, shaking, feeling as if he had relived his worst nightmare; mortality.
He felt pride, the fact that he conquered his fear and the fact that he had survived thus far. The father however gave off a look of indifference, maintaining a stern look. He realized it was time, although his training was proven successful so far, it was still incomplete. His father then decided to take the boy turned man to the Sith Academy in Koribban to learn more while concealing his identity.

Thresh had finally, parted ways with his remaining family member. After attending to the orientation program he was trained by overseers the most basic of combat techniques and lightsaber forms. Some abilities of the force were also included in his teachings, over time he grew to grow a relationship with some of his lecturers and even idealized them greatly, however every time they seemed to show a form of dislike or disappointment towards him he would seem to get pensive and greatly demoralize his overseers thinking they didn't want any affiliation with him.

His emotional instability almost even expelled him, his masters on the other had thought he had his uses. After years, by the age of 31 he was deemed fit for the rank of Sith Acolyte, no longer a lowly trainee.

During his spare time he would read alone about the stories or legends shared about different species on multiple planets. The mysteries of the galaxy had piqued his interest, he wanted to know more. See such creatures and fascinations up close. So he decided to travel and take on assignments by his superiors whenever the opportunity came.

SKILLS:

Thresh is a fast learner when it comes to picking up newly found fighting styles around training or learning a different language. During his time in the academy he has learnt Huttese, Droidspeak or Binary and Jawaese incase he needed to negotiate with these organisms but it is spoken in broken dialect.

He is good swordsman when it comes to lightsaber to melee or lightsaber to ranged combat but he still has plenty to learn. He is still able to deflect incoming bolts and strike whenever the opportunity arises using his defensive and offensive style, Shien AKA Form V the only style he knew and his most favorite. He is indeed force sensitive but rarely ever displays such a use for personal reasons such as an insecurity to reveal himself to a rambunctious Jedi and being captured or tortured to compromise his or his loved one's secrets.

Even though he is good at harnessing some of his given force abilities properly he rarely relies on it that much, he is also skilled enough with lightsaber combat at close range, able to use acquired techniques or maneuvers learnt at his time in the academy and apply them to real life situations.

"Thresh was abandoned by his parents native to Alderaan believing him to be unfit for royalty and a nuisance to be around. " Could you explain why they thought him to be unfit, and also clarify on how he's related to royalty? Alderaan royalty is related to the Drast line, and any character who's part of that line needs to be staff approved before even being posted.

Also, there is no republic, hasn't been for over 500 years. The Galactic Alliance is a new entity, also known as the Rebel Alliance, but they were deep in hiding when he would be 7. Same goes for the Jedi, they were considered extinct for close to 500 years and as such he wouldn't have hear any news or rumors about them. And no slaves would have any run ins with them, the Jedi were existing in secret till a few years ago in character.

Overall there are a lot of incncisstences in teh character that do not fit in with the current setting of the TL. You should take a look at some of the info on this announcement: Welcome to the 8th Timeline!. That should help you become familiar with the setting and make the required changes.

Alright, so I've made changes completely with his Bio along with his personality traits, appearance, armor and gear.
Not sure if I should've added a ship or not since it wasn't his it was his father's.

So he can only know one lightsaber form, so please pick one. And about him being multilingual because he’s smart, he’ll still have to learn languages. I am not sure if you were trying to say that he can simply start speaking a language because of his intelligence, but just in case putting it out there that anything like that will be a no go. He can learn languages, and speak them if he’s learnt how to. So I’d like you to list out the languages he does know to begin with.

Alright now Thresh learns only 3 languages. I stated as well that he still has alot to learn in lightsaber combat and the languages he spoke are in broken dialect. I chose form v as a lightsaber stance.
