DESCRIPTION
Several Raider class corvettes were acuired by @Hauron Solus at auction and have been put into service for the nomadic battle group known as Rancor Squadron. They have each been modified with similar changes and upgrades. The three ships are named Kyramud, Ramikad, & Ramorir. Often they are traveling with the Berex class carrier, Dralaalar, that was also won at the same auction.
Each corvette has had its thrust settings de-limited and fusial afterburners incorporated. The controls are disabled by default however and controlled by the captain of the ship and its pilot exclusively. This adjustment has been hidden and kept a guarded secret.
Many small smuggling compartments are placed around the three corvettes. Some are used to hide materials and resources that could be detected by scans while some are hiding spots for ship defenders should enemies board the raider. These hidden places allow enemies to think they are moving through empty halls while in truth the members of Rancor Squadron are lining up a shot at the back of their head. Portions of the ship is further shielded by scatterweave to hide its energy signature. This only makes them appear as a standard raider class corvettes or force any scrutinizers to base assumptions on the naked eye which is far from reliable unless directly investigating.
Ten brigs have been added to each raider allowing it to serve a similar purpose as the Dralaalar if need be and be a staging area for smaller patrols when separated from the main battle group. These brigs can hold bounties for hunters or unruly prisoners of war. Sometimes an outsider may be allowed a "room" on a raider before being allowed close to the main battle group. However the accommodations are far from poor.
While the ship can carry some starfighters or other small craft, most freighters and larger ships dock with one of the two docking rings. Usually the hangar has its smaller starship compliment housed in the hangar. But if it is not then they are likely nearby and on guard whilst any transfer of cargo is occurring.
Due to the small numbers of the Rancor Squadron starting out, the Raider class corvette was an ideal choice for the battle group. Its low crew requirements make it capable of operating well early on in the group's beginnings. Hauron still felt like they needed to decrease how spread thin they were and make things easier. Thus he had each raider installed with a smart A.I. This droid brain is different with each Raider but is maintained and well kept with appropriate security protocols in place that limits is vulnerabilities. Since this trio of corvettes have begun their service for the Rancor Squadron they have sometimes been called the "Freebooters" or sometimes when together, with pun intended "Threebooters" earning a reluctant smile and subsequent groan from all who hear or read it.

LEGALITY
Restricted. Raider-class corvettes are classified as capital ships under Galactic law, and possess heavy weapons. As such, civilian owners will require extra licensing to operate one legally, and will receive increased scrutiny by authorities.INTENT

Raider-class corvettes are capital ships with powerful weapons, and capital ships cannot be owned or operated by individual characters. They can be acquired as a faction asset, or can be jointly owned by at least 3 player characters who work together regularly. After being modified with the fusial afterburner upgrade it cannot receive weapon upgrades. Furthermore it suffers the normal negatives from using the thrust delimiter and fusial afterburners (when engaged).
