A characteristic night owl, Yearius had arrived to the library in the middle hours of darkness, close to 3 AM local time on the homeworld of the Sith. He was grabbed in his normal affinity cloaks, bearing the colors of black and grey to represent his station as a Sicarii Inquisitor. The typical beskar mask shielded his face, only the pair of orbs which gave him a gateway into the world peered outwards. The matukai gauntlet was on his left arm while he wore a typical cortosis interwoven gauntlet on his right, preparing mentally for the instructions he sought to learn.

Darth Venator's holocron was in its resting place,
Yearius had made arrangements to carefully bring the artifact into the one of the conference suites so that he could attempt at speaking with it. Its knowledge was of paramount importance to the ambitious Inquisitor and being a natural student of the dark side, his eagerness to learn difficult to conceal. Upon entering, he turned to the side to momentarily dim the lights down a few notches to his liking. The ambient LEDs were maintained just shades higher than reading light, as he felt too much brightness would be unnatural for this occasion. Unstrapping his sith warblade, he set the weapon down onto the ground beside him, still sheathed in its scabbard.

Yaerius assumed a knelt position, left hand curling to a fist as he brought it closer to clasp against his chest. Head bowed respectfully as he slowly drifted his thoughts into a focused meditation. Dark energies swirled around him, permitting his mind to seek a path through the force and attempt at communicating with the ancient Sith Lord that lay dormant within the Holocron.

The guards that had accompanied the holocron into the room were not to be trifled with. Though they allowed individuals access to the holocrons with proper appointments, they waited never far away. They stepped outside the room as he was given his private access.

The holocron itself sat there still with almost no aura to it. It was completely unassuming, forcing men and women to know what they were searching for already. As the Force once again flowed through the holocron, a piece of the soul was summoned by a siren's call back to the land of the living. It flowed through the device and projected upwards.

A small figure approximately a foot tall appeared at the pinnacle of the pyramidal device. Cloaked all in black with a menacing matte mask, there was little that could be made out of what had once been the man's true form.

Even from the dead, as only a memory of the man who had once ruled the Sith, he had a piercing judgement that could wither the weak and unprepared. He said nothing as he seemed to stare directly through the man in front of him. Darth Venator had been feared by the entire galaxy, and even his memory wasn't kindly enough to allow anyone to learn.

Yaerius lofted a soft brow at the miniature figure that had assembled in front of him, though his facial features were still obscured by his own mask. The inquisitor didn't doubt the power of the replica though truthfully he wasn't expecting the manifestation to be in such an interesting manner. The clothing and mask resembled vague images he had seen of the ancient Sith Lord, though tales and memory could only do little justice to the opportunity before him now. As the figure spoke no words, Yaerius thought it was perhaps best to begin with introductions. Dark sided energies still coiled around the inquisitor, pulsating and wavering before the Dark Lord, easily reflecting the young sith's curiosity and excitement.

"Greetings M'Lord. I am Inquisitor Yaerius. I have come to... learn". He fully expected that the Sith Lord would likely test him, using perhaps the force to glare into his being and decide for himself whether the Inquisitor was worthy of the education within the artifact. Yaerius had the urge to speak more, to speak about his desires in learning the various, ancient aspects of the Dark side as well as the insight of an Empire that existed so many thousand years before him. Darth Venator's opinions and teachings on the role of Sith Assassins was of paramount importance to him as well, considering his own role as a new Black Hand.

For now though, Yaerius suppressed those desires and allow himself to be open for judgment.

Venator's expressions were hidden behind the mask, and as only a part of his former self, reading any sort of emotion was even more difficult in death than it had been in life.

When the Champion finally spoke, Venator's head tilted ever so slightly to the side as if in thought.

An Inquisitor? he repeated. He knew of the Inquisitors of old, but he also knew the Sith were fond of reusing titles.

What are you hoping to learn and why does an Inquisitor need it? he asked. Of course, every question was asked with purpose, and every answer would be weighed in accordance. Some of the teachings from the holocron had been more widely distributed among the Order, but others had been reserved.
