CHRISTOPHSIS
0900 Hours

The planet rich in crystalline structures has no official government, but rather rival clans wrestling for control. The largest of them, has their fortress outside the capital city of Chaleydonia. Storm the stronghold and negotiate them to submit, knowing full well that in case diplomacy fails, bloodshed will likely result.

Dark Councilor Darth Victress has stepped in to lead the Sphere of Military Offense. As such, she will command an expansive campaign to bring the three planets of Tatooine, Rodia, and Christophsis under Imperial Rule.

Christophsis was her mission. This crystal planet would soon fall to the Empire and join the glory of the winning side of the war. High in the orbit of the unsuspecting nation waited The Gallows, the contemptuous-class dungeon ship owned by Lady Eriana Fox. Along with her was her partner in crime, and in love, @Milo Vemec Drast . They had met earlier in the day and discussed their plan of attack. Storming the fortress would be an easy task for the two Crusaders and their troopers. But to make things that much easier, they were given another Acolyte for the job.

The blind Sith had never met the Zeltron named @Zarya , but she was eager to see what the girl was capable of. The Confessor, the nickname given to Lady Fox, was far more accepting of those who had the gift of the Dark side and treated them with the respect they deserved. When she had to work with troopers who were...less than capable, she had a certain disdain for them that she just couldn't seem to hide. This wasn't Eriana's first time meeting a Zeltron, but it was her first meeting one who was Force sensitive.

Being that the woman was a different species, it stood to reason that the Empire might not have treated Zarya fairly. Eriana could personally recall times where her best friend (a Nagai) was looked down upon for being different. But there were certain Zeltron's who made due with their troubles and used their nifty little traits of controlling pheromones to make others ease up to them. The same could be said about the beauty, hair and skin colors of brilliant pinks, reds, and even blues. Though this fact in and of itself would be lost to the blind Sith.

As Eriana walked with Milo, she thought about how she would react upon meeting this Force sensitive Sith. Tales of their ability to control others was astounding and for Eriana, a personal interest was begin to burn within her mind. For Zarya would soon find out, Lady Fox also liked to control and manipulate people. Aboard this very ship were prisoners on the lower floors going through conditioning experiments to see if she could make someone obey her every word. Having a Zeltron on board with this endeavor would be a fruitful experience.

But her welcoming party would not seem so friendly to the pink-skinned girl. Not only was she met by forty troopers wearing red and white armor, their shoulder plates painted with the symbol of a fox, but Eriana herself didn't give off the best of vibes. Like many Sith she was intimidating, but her more so than others. This was due to her Sith marauder armor being tailored into a corset that made her look even more sadistic than she was. It also didn't help that aside from her two curved lightsaber hilts on her hip that she had a Zygerrian electro whip coiled around her belt too. This was the sight she was welcomed to upon landing her ship in The Gallows' hold in the middle of the morning.

"Welcome, Acolyte Zarya. It is a pleasure to have you aboard."

With the amount of troops the two Crusaders had walking with them, they looked like two Warlords on a romantic walk to the docking bay. Milo's men, clad in maroon and black, trailed them next to the Fox troopers, close enough to mingle but not close enough to blend together. Their color schemes were different enough that they stood out from each other, but their ranks looked much neater as two blocks striding side by side, each behind their respective leader—the two who were holding hands.

Milo was so close to Lordship that he could almost taste it, and his power was already past Lord levels. The title was a formality by now, though one that would open many doors for him. He'd already taken on an apprentice—perhaps a bit early, but he preferred it that way—and would get to starting her training soon enough. These were likely the last of his missions as a Crusader, and thus he sought to leave his mark. The 40 troops behind him were mostly meant to serve as a show of power for the Warlord, but commanding them made Milo feel more powerful.

He was masked today, his blasters and lightsaber in full view. An onlooker with a seasoned eye would note that the Sith was wielding a Violator, which was illegal, but the weapon had become a sort of keepsake for him by now, especially after Nor'baal's untimely death at his hands. The slug had become a legend for him, even though he had been the one to kill him, and Milo still viewed the Hutt as a friend—bad for business and now dead, but still a friend. It had been why he'd named his ship the Violator, after the weapons the two acquired in their first business dealing.

He nodded to Zarya in greeting as they came to a stop in front of the Zeltron, his hand clutching Eriana's. The two were a sort of power couple among the Sith, even though word of their courtship was still spreading among the ranks. With their ascension, it would likely spread even faster.

Disembarking from the shuttle she was greeted by the two crusaders and the eighty troopers behind them, with the open display of weapons, one might have thought she wasn't welcome there but she knew what it was, a display of power, an intimidation tactic to put her off-kilter, it wasn't the first she had experienced this.

"No the pleasure is all mine, Crusader Fox" she bowing slightly as a sign of respect for the rank and experience they hold, "to serve under two crusaders as experienced as you two is a great honour for me, I hope to learn a lot from you two." most it was just niceties for Zarya though she did believe she could learn something from them.

Zarya didn't know too much about the two Crusaders, all she of Fox was that she was once Part of IR, defecting just before the unification and for Milo, she knew that he is a rising sith on the cusp of reaching the rank of Darth. It would certainly be an interesting mission.

The Zeltron was wise to speak with a respectful tone. Eriana was used to being addressed as such, but it was still a good show of class and humility for the girl to follow those pleasantries. "Well I don't plan on doing a lot of teaching today," she would say as a matter of fact. "But you are welcome to observe as we go along."

Turning to her troops she would give them a wave of her hand and one of the leaders would turn and shout to his men, "All troops! March!"

The Fox Troopers would begin to march and head toward the capital. Eriana would move past the Zeltron, after letting go of Milo's hand, and begin to follow after her men. Just ahead of them was the stronghold for this large clan and if they fell, the rest of Christophsis would surely fall as well. Like building blocks, all it would take is one brick to tumble and the rest would come crashing down.

"Are you aware of the mission at hand, Acolyte Zarya? Milo, dear, perhaps it would be best to go over it once again? I would hate for us to be on the wrong foot going into this endeavor. Unless of course you plan on doing all the work?" That was a little flirt between them as she often stayed behind. It wasn't for lack of power; she simply enjoyed being the object of affection everyone got distracted by.

The trio began walking, the troops marching around them until they were up ahead. The three Sith were here mostly as a walking contigency plan and to more directly lead the soldiers; any drawing of lightsabers would simply be out of love for combat today. Milo did not know much about Christophsis—he had not even known of its existence until a few days ago—but he did not think a clan on a minor planet would put up much of a fight. They were likely nobles that had never seen a day of fighting in their life, guarded by soldiers that battled like barbarians. He would let his troops do the dirty work and sweep in to help if needed, but he doubted it.

"Don't I always?" he asked, a sly smirk on his helmeted face as they walked. He turned his head a few degrees toward Zarya so that she could tell he was speaking to her. "Our assignment today is rather simple. We are to storm the fortress of Christophsis' larger clan—which holds a loose grip on the planet and acts as a sort of government—and demand that they surrender. If they refuse, wipe them out." Diplomacy was always nice. Clean. Milo knew that many Sith did not believe in it, taking their ability to communicate with others for granted. It was one of the things that separated them from non-sentient animals, but some of the lower-ranking Sith were yet to realize that. He hoped Zarya was more reasonable—he would hate to be interrupted mid-negotiation because she got the urge to whip out her lightsaber. Some cultures were easier to negotiate with than others, and he could still remember the Iridonians. Still, attacking them had been in retaliation to their attitude. Someone more cooperative would not have had to worry about being killed the way the Zabraks had.

They strode off the platform of the ship and onto Christophsis' rocky landscape. It was surprisingly beautiful—crystals sprouting from the ground like trees, varying in color from green to blue. The sky itself was a calming sky blue, and his eyes set on the city ahead. It was sprawling, dotted by lights on every building—which seemed to be constructed using crystals. It was like the locals had made the city by turning hollow crystals into skyscrapers. It was interesting, and pleasant on the eyes. Hopefully their leader would be pleasant too.

They marched in silence for a few hundred meters, though Milo could hear the occasional chatter from troops up front. He let them make small talk—there was no reason to force things to be boring. The city gates opened as they neared; the clan knew they were coming, and they did not want to fight, it seemed. The group of 80 troops strode into the city like they owned it, and its guards merely stood by and watched.

"Halt!" he bellowed loud enough that the entire city block would hear. A man approached, and it was clear he was the clan leader from the way he dressed. His elaborate robes and white hair would give one the impression of an older gentleman, but his face and bodies showed he was in his 20s. It was clear he was extravagant enough to only know his way around a sword for petty duels. Milo could see no blaster on him.

"Welcome to Chaleydonia, Sith!" he called out, voice lilting with an Alderaanian accent. Milo's eyebrow quirked up. Was it fabricated, or was this man from off-world? He probably had an inflated ego as a result of his noble status, and wanted to seem interesting by pretending to be from another planet. Typical. "It is a shame you did not announce your visit earlier; we would have had a feast ready." There was regret in his voice, but it was clear that it was feigned. It was the man's subtle jab and reprimanding of the Imperials for not announcing that they'll be coming to relieve him of his leadership today.

"We appreciate the sentiment, but there is no need for that. We have food at home." A small chuckle resonated among the troops—that sentence had become an inside joke among them, probably due to Milo's reluctance to eat in new places. "Now," he added, stepping away from the soldiers and toward the man. "Where may we speak privately?" Onlookers had gathered, and Milo did not like negotiating with half the city watching him.

To her remark of him always doing the work she chuckled and leaned her head against his shoulder for a moment. Milo then discussed their plan, that they were to storm the fortress and force them to surrender. Classic Sith move. Break in and demand submission. It's what they did best. Not just Sith in general, but Eriana and Milo. Their partnership was a powerhouse of skill and terror. Nothing would ever tear them apart....

While Milo enjoyed the view of this place, Eriana would sadly feel left out. Sort of. She couldn't miss what she didn't have to begin with. To her, this was just another planet with a larger-than-usual connection to the Force. It gifted her with a sonar-like ability to see the rock formations but their colors and beauty were lost to her. There was a way for the both of them to share that vision (his, not hers), and it involved her sharing his eyesight with a careful connection in their minds. She'd done it once or twice with him simply to see his face the way others saw it, but he would hopefully offer to do it again for her after the mission; he'd know she would love to see such a wondrous view. He'd also know there was a mission to do first so she'd understand why he wouldn't have offered now.

The long walk was boring for Eriana, but she used this time to focus her mind on the Force. It was during these times before battle that she liked to say a prayer to the mystic entity that made up the universe. She found herself in this moment actually unable to find her words. Was it because Milo was walking with her and she was distracted by his presence? Or something more that alluded her. Either way, it bothered her and it would continue to do so, going so far as to put her in a rather grumpy mood by the time they'd walk into the city.

Milo would call his troops to stop (her own followed his command) while a dominant figure came to approach them. Eriana triggered her sights on him and examined him through the Force. She could feel the aura of authority over him. She felt a strong connection to combat though as it felt to her that he knew his way around a blade. They would be welcomed by the young man's voice and even Eriana was put off for a moment by the noble-sounding accent. He'd feign to them the possibility of a meal which to be honest would have been a nice welcome. She'd be in a much better mood if someone prepared food for her first. She'd also be less inclined to murder them all. Perhaps more cultures should start thinking that way...

Sadly her partner did not feel the same as he was completely turned off from the matter. It was obvious among all the troops that Milo passionately hated eating in unfamiliar places. It was kind of an annoyance to Eriana -though she'd never said anything- because she loved trying new things. But his familiar routine always guaranteed she knew what she was going to have for their meal before she'd even sat down. That wasn't too bad of a thing to compromise to.

The two Sith would then wait for permission from this chief to invite them into his camp, home, etc so that they could discuss things privately. The Sith had first hand experience what happened when groups of people tried to reason with them. They got full of themselves thinking their numbers were enough to overwhelm the Sith duo. A foolish mistake. Every time.

it was obvious milo hadn't done his research on her but she wouldn't have expected him to since she was just an acolyte, "I understand our mission fully, this is not my first diplomatic mission and will likely not be my last, Crusader Milo"

Walking on to the planet she had never seen anything like Christophsis, a planet where great crystal grew from the grow like plants on any other world, it was beautiful though she couldn't understand the tribes survived her they were little to no plants and the ground certainly didn't seem capable of growing they either, this did make her wonder what at here.

she would follow behind the two crusaders like she was there own shadow, she had no reason to speak and she thought it prudent to remain silent until they needed or she saw an opportunity to demonstrate her worth and skill to them.

The clan leader in front of them would look around at his entourage and then wave them all inside his home. Eriana would move with Zarya and follow inside. They weren't exactly expecting guests, as he passively snipped at them earlier. But the large business room he had on the side of the residence was enough to seat them. Eriana followed with the group as they directed her inside but her troops she'd brought with were asked to wait outside. She waited and held her hand up, instructing them to wait as ordered. Inside the room, they were then seated and before anyone could expect otherwise, the clan leader would pull out a gun toward the Sith duo. His soldiers around him would all pull out weapons of their own.

Eriana should have expected such a betrayal. But they were the foolish ones for thinking that a few blasters would be enough to install fear into the fierce warriors. "Not one word, or we fire!" the leader would warn. "You should never have come here....Surrender your weapons. Do it now."

The Confessor would already begin to breathe in the Force and summon it to her arms and legs. A shootout was about to begin. She knew she could handle it, but could @Zarya ?

Well vamp is apparently busy with other things and his character died yesterday anyways. So it looks like it's just you and me @christhebarker . So now we're just going to kill them all, bomb the place, and report in a successful takeover. Kk?
