This Might be an Obvious Question...

This might be an obvious question but can a character be involved in two roleplays at once? What if one is a flashback or something of the sort? I see nothing specifically stated about it in the rules and don't know whether it's allowed or the admin's assumed it was common sense.

You can be in as many roleplaying threads as you can manage. However, it's recommended that you are only in one combat thread at a time in case your character dies.

If character death is enabled, you usually can only be in one of those. Sometimes that goes for combat in general. Any other thread and you can have as many as you can responsibly keep up with.

Yep, you kind of set the timeline for the threads yourself. So if you're in threads A, B and C all at the same time then it's assumed that they're in an order, yes, but that order is decided by you.

As they said above, though, if you're involved in a combat thread where your character has the opportunity to die it's generally a good idea not to get yourself into a bunch of threads that would be occurring afterwards.

Reason you can involve yourself with multiple silmultaneous threads is because this site works through Pseudo Real time. It oretends to keep up with real time, but in reality, we can morph and change it to suit our RPing needs. You cna have a Thread going that started a minth ago occurring a day before a thread you started today, or a thread you startes today can occur several months ago.

Of 'course, combat-involved threads where your character can potentially die is more of the exception! I don't recommend playing around much g to figure out those other than that be involved with only 1 of those per character at a time.
