I honestly didn't even know there was another social in a castle till I made this but whatever lol! Anyone feel free to join. This is just a minor/light party thread post-holidays so has no real theme to it. Just mingle and mosey at your leisure!

Château de Miroirs

The Château de Miroirs, newly opened, was claimed by the CEO of Hilliott Hotels to be a monument to the past. He gave two thumbs up to it in advertisements anyway, though he looked like an unwashed LARPer. In the mountains of Corellia, nestled atop a peak like a nest in a tree but not far from the capital city, the castle fit right in.

Tonight, the opening ceremony was to be held in the form of a masquerade ball with invitations to all. There wasn’t a huge dress code but Kayden wore the same mask that everyone else was required to if they hoped to drink and dance on the ballroom floor of the Château de Miroirs. He, however, would not be doing much of either.

Behind the bar of polished black marble stood one of the bartenders. He sported a black tuxedo, crisp white shirt, though the bowtie was scarlet. Kayden thought that was a bit too on the nose but no less drole so kept it on.

He held a tumbler in one hand, spun a bottle in the other, was pretty good at this without anyone needing to know he was casting Force Bartend. Another margarita coming up, another stranger behind a mask, but her eyes were unmistakably gazing into his own. You might not like what hides behind.

In no mood to flirt, Kayden moved on to the next patron. It was going to be a long and busy night, but before too long there would probably be one drunken episode or the other. Who was on spills tonight? Not me. I spill the fluid. I don’t mop it up.

He had a couple of castrated slaves for that but knew better than to bring them here. Maybe I should have bathed them before leaving the ship. Kayden dreaded returning to his Silence. His creatures had probably pissed themselves again on account of having no keys to their cages. Such was life.
