Good luck Think Tank! Can't wait to see what you come up with. Especially the Jedi! Make it juicy.

I am happy to report that the think tank has begun! We will provide periodic updates in this announcement board as we continue to develop the new timeline.

Actually if its not to late, I would love the think-tank to address the issue of Force Sensitivity and longevity. Does being Force Sensitive increase your lifespan from having the Force be a part of you for so long? And if it does, by how much? Does it double it? Increase it by a percentage? Does it slow your aging?

In Star Wars games I have ran in the past I would make a ruling a where Force Sensitives had double their lifespan. And I only say double because look at Yoda, the average lifespan of his people are like wookies, 400 years old. Yoda was nearly 900 when he died. I am curious to see what you, the think tank will have to say about this and hope to have a detailed ruling on the matter soon. Thank you.

@Crosis

Might you be able to explain to me why that really matters to the timeline?

The only info we have on Yoda's species is no longer canon. So for all we know, all members of Yoda's species live to be 900 or so in the new canon.

Because it could effect my character concept so I need to know.

@Kiro
Yeah I was afraid of that.

A decision has not been made. Canon does not seem to support the Force increasing age. In fact, one could argue Canon supports it does not. Otherwise Obi-Wan Kenobi might not have aged as much as he did on Tatooine in the time gap between Episode 3 and Episode 4.

Ultimately, I would recommend you look upon the reason why you need such an old character. Ancient age doesn't equate to strength in the Force. There have been 800+ year old Padawans before on the site. If you have further questions or would like to discuss the reason for the old age in more details, feel free to shoot me a PM.

If we're thinking of the same one, I think he needed admin permission to have such a character.
