“ Shut it E, I know!” Stasha snarled, turning.

“follow me…I’m sure they’ll catch on…You don’t have to change your face if we do this right…“


‘You went through Res Solorian anyway’ she thought.

‘If you had gotten the damn tattoos this wouldn’t be a problem.’

She strode down the halls quickly turning her cheek as colleagues looked at the double vision with confusion in their eyes.

Eeicia folded her arsm and scoffed as she followed her twin.

"So what then? Your just going to tell them?" She gave a man a dirty look as they walked past, after all staring was impolite.

" Thats so typical of you Stasha. Always trying to avoid or pass on the blame. Would you prefer I told them? Cause I'm sure I could paint a pretty vivd picture." Eeicia didnt mean most of her words, for the most part she was just venting. Letting out all the frustration on her twin little by little.

“It wouldn’t matter if you did!” Stasha raised her voice and threw back her arms throwing one in a gesture past her chest

“They expect me to be the screw up since Gold girl was a role I was always an understudy for!”

She felt her blood begin to boil and rise.

Eeicia sighed and massaged her temples with her right hand as they walked. Her voice calmed as she spoke.

" You still dont get it do you? Mom and Dad didnt want you to be a carbon copy of me. They just wanted you to be....you. To be happy. With your life and your endeavors. You cant honestly say you were happy when you kept getting into trouble right?"

She paused for a moment, calculating her words. " God knows they wouldn't have wanted two of me or you. One of each was enough."

Evie thrashed her arm towards the med bay.

"There's the med bay! Consider yourself led!" she growled, crossing her arms.

"I'm sorry I screwed you over!" she walked off to find Shawn and give him a tongue lashing for setting her up for humiliation. She felt like a fool and her heart ached from her sister's words of wisdom.

Shawn was walking down the hall with an entire folder of flimsy and a data pad that had a digital copy of Eecias new life, Shawn just felt a little angry that he used up almost all his contacts and favors to get this stuff done not to mention getting the chief pissed off at him for telling him the situation and why he needed his help after so many years. ‘Well at least this will end with little blood lose.’

Shawn saw Stasha walking down the hall angrily and grabbed her by the arm, “where are you going you’re supposed to be in the med bay so I can draw a blood sample, and get other proof. If you have a problem with that, I may have to break a rule it may get me killed but I’m willing to risk it to right a wrong.” Shawn said bluffing he couldn’t kill her or betray the guild but this sibling rivalry and hatred was just getting ridiculous in his point of view.

"I'm not in the mood!" Evie yelled, tearing her arm from his hands.

She swallowed her rage and gathered her dignity, adjusting her posture.

"Lets go..." she said with clenched teeth.

"good." Shawn said as he walked back to the med lab with Stasha in front of him so she couldn't run away. then turned to address Eecia "well I got it all cleared, you're new name is Dashara Jade, you have been in the coruscant police force for six years, you requested a transfer to Correllia do to the fact that that you want someplace a little more quiet. in this folder," Shawn handed Eecia the folder "is the hard copy of you're new life history birth certificate, badge and so on don't ask how I got them cause then I may have to charge you for how many favors I had to pull, also on this data pad is the codes to a ship in the police impound that I got for you and all the information that’s on the hard copies including my contact info incase you need anything else."

"Now I'll be right back with a hypo spray so I can draw some blood from Stasha." Shawn said as he went into a small office in the med lab.

Eeicia's expression changed to slight distaste at the mention of her new name. " I dont really like it, but I'll go for it if I have to." She said as she skimmed over the file and its contents. Eeicia had to admit, Shawn sure had a useful group of people in his pocket. Something she used to take for granted.

She used the file as an excuse to not talk to her sister. Pretending to be deeply interested in it even though she had already gotten all the information she needed from it.

Evie stuck out her tongue as if gagged when she heard her sister's new name.

She followed Shawn into the med bay like a lost puppy, trying to avoid any uncomfortable silences with her sibling.

"Well thanks for following me, saves me the time of going back out there, and coming back in here when I'm done." Shawn said inserting a container in to the bottom of the hypospray “now roll up you’re sleeve and hold out your arm."

Evie pouted and shurgged, turning her head as she extended her bare arm.

Her milky wrist looked vulnerable beneath its black sleeve but her face was calm and resolute as she gazed down the hall. Pain was never a source of fear for her.

She would take a bullet on the battlefield if it meant getting the perfect head shot and staying still in its path.

"This won't hurt a bit." Shawn said drawing the blood and then holding the vile with the blood in it. "heres the proof shal I take or you, since this was the last bit we needed I got the chief to agree that the blood was all I needed to prove she was dead, which cost me quiet a bit, I might add."

"Thanks." Evie said softly.

"For everything I mean it." Her face was sincere and serious.

“Your welcome, but I didn’t do this for you. I did this to try to fix an injustice. But you did good, and here’s to working with you in the future.” Shawn said holding his hand out looking for a hand shake.

Evie took Shawn’s hand and wrenched him forward into an embrace. She smiled against his cheek and whispered into his ear:

“Thanks for helping me put my sister back together.”

By now Eeicia was standing in the doorway of the med bay, arms folded with the folder still in hand.

" If we're done with this love fest I'd like ot speak with my sister. Alone." She emphasised alone. Trying as politely as she could to tell Shawn to get lost.

Shawn coughed a little as he took a step back from Stasha In a bit of embarrassment and surprise at Eecias sudden arrival at the door. “Uh....right no problem, um look for hanger three when you’re ready to leave, and or call me on the comms Eecia and I’ll take you to Correllia.” Shawn said as he hurried out of the med bay.

Evie released Shawn like he was covered in filth when she saw her sister witnessing the embrace.
She stood as if at attention and waited for her sister to speak as he left.

As Shawn left, Eeicia's posture softened. Her shoulders relaxed, and her arms hung at her sides. She cleared her throat before speaking.

" I'm proud of you Stash. You pulled through and handled your own problems." Eeicia paused for a moment. She was never really good at the gushy times.

" I know we dont always see eye to eye....But I'm glad you've found your niche, and that its not in some crime lords pocket."

She extended her arms wide. " Now give me a hug before I loose the tenderness of the moment."
