Theft on Tython Relaunch

[Lupe]

"Means that either the guy snuck in or your sensors are failing but I doubt it's your fault" Cal said, smirking a little, he then turned to Tsume "So, wolf, how do we proceed?" he said in a comical voice, providing a little relief. He did not like being tense, tense sucked, he felt tense before and it never helped him so he wanted to avoid it at all costs.

 

[Nevermourn]

Tsume frowned, not particularily fond of his new name. It wasn't likebhe was just some normal, feral animal with no name. He was a Jedi! He didn't show his dislike, however, and instead pondered on their next move. But it wasn quite obvious. Track down each of the Jedi and question them both. First, they would find the male.

"Next, we go pay our knight friend a visit." He answered calmly. He wasn't accusing the Jedi of the crime, but he was certainly the most suspicios. But then, wouldn't a successful criminal try to leave as little evidense behind as possible? If so, it didn't seem as if a Jedi was the cause of the theft at all, unless they were reckless.

 

[SoloWing]

"As you wish, I will lead you to Master Recwar's quarters." EG-PO nodded curtly. "If you will please follow me?"

The cent became stronger. Were one capable of detecting such things, it would become obvious that after departing from the holocron library, Stan Recwar had left the library behind only to return to his room. There were no other deviations from their course.

Along the way to the man's chambers, EG-PO accessed the temple database and requested information. He was quick to report that Stan Recwar was a human male who had a rather unremarkable record of service. The man had gotten the job done but never had any sterling recommendations or claims to fame. Several years ago, Stan had met a woman named Claire. They had gotten together and were planning a wedding when the Coruscant temple was bombed.

Claire had died that day and Stan had never been the same since. His mind had snapped and he had been brought back to Tython for counseling and mental recuperation. He had been considered harmless and not a threat, and was thus allowed limited freedoms to roam the halls. This was the first anyone had heard of him causing mischief.

EG-PO paused his explanation to pause before a doorway. He studied it for a moment and then pronounced it to be the one that belonged to the wayward knight.

Spoiler: OoC Notes

Stan isn't home, but you guys are free to investigate his room if you so choose. Here's some stuff of note:

1) A computer. It's encrypted and will take some doing to access.

2) Cologne; a lot of it. The place reeks of the stuff. Pity Tsume, here.

3) The refresher station. It's been used recently.

4) Jedi robes are strewn about the room haphazardly.

5) There's a suspicious empty space in the closet. It looks like some form of clothing was removed recently.

 

[Shroud]

Tony looked around that room at stuff, and he didn't really see something of suspicion. He saw a computer and said, "Maybe there are some files on there. Hey mutt if you're as good with computers on how good you are with sniffing then could you access it?" He laughed a little after calling Tsume a mutt, but then he looked around the room a little more.

 

[Alucard]

*Zayne walked through the room with his lightsaber out [deactivated] in case of danger and opens the closet to see it empty of stuff which suprised Zayne since the theft was just last night*

"Hey guys come take a look. The closet is completely empty. Seems like this guy was in a rush"

 

[Lupe]

Cal shook his head "Watch the name calling" he warned as he looked around the room, he heard Zayne's revalation "Yes, he was in quite the hurry, look at all the robes around" he said as he walked to the refresher station, he checked it "Recently used, looks like our suspect is planning a trip, Wolf, do you think you can pick up a scent" he said turning to Tsume, he did not mean Wolf as a jest, simply a name, since he had not caught Tsume's real name.

 

[Nevermourn]

Tsume curled his lip and growled warningly to the padawan who had called him a mutt, flashing sharp teeth. Hopefully, it would be enough to scare the padawan into not calling him such an insult again, whether he meant it as an insult or not.

"I'm no tech whiz, fleshling." He growled rather unkindly. This padawan wasn't making a very good impression. "But I can track the scent from these robes." He said, this time to everyone in the room. The distinct scent was foul and constantly assaulted his sharp senses, but it wasnt very stale, which was a good sign.

Without checking to see if the others were following, he left the room, following the distinct scent until it lead him out of the temple. Stopping, he waited to see if the others had followed, though he was still focused on the scent. It was getting fresher.

 

[Shroud]

Tony followed Tsume, because he thought he should. Tony said, "Jeez the mutt thing was a joke no need to attempt to scare me because of it."

 

[Alucard]

*Zayne followed Tsume and kept up with his pace while constantly lokking around for any traces*

 

[SoloWing]

The trail of scent led the group of padawans away from the temple proper and into the surrounding area. EG-PO took his leave of the padawans at the doorway, unable to venture forth into the outside world. A short walk brought them to a dense forest. The scent trail continued on, winding around trees and through underbrush, and deeper and deeper into the woods.

Finally, at long last, the scent led them to a large clearing set in the center of the foliage. The treeline abruptly broke and a short meadow took over. The expanse of treeless terrain was just large enough to allow a small ship to land. Beyond the treeline lay no cover. Once the edge of the perimeter was broken, there would be no means of employing stealth.

In the center of that clearing stood a man. A short thin man with blond hair. He naturally stood out, being the only living being in the center of the clearing. Unfortunately, his presence did not end there. The man was dressed in fine silken robes-- a wedding suit, and held his arms aloft as though they were wrapped around some invisible maiden. The man was twisting and spinning around the clearing, engaged in only a dance that he could see and a marriage that had never been.

 

[Lupe]

Cal followed Tsume to the clearing, he put his hand on Tsume's shoulder "Don't do anything" he said, noticing the man dancing in a wedding robe. He looked at the others and told them "Don't do anything aggressive, he is harmless, when we approach him stay cautious. Now I might be guessing but I think this guy is insane which means play along with his insanity." he spoke from experience Coruscant was full of insane people, especially in the undercity, he had learned the hard way that messing with a crazy persons fantasy was a bad idea. He then said "Understood?" to add emphasis and awaited an answer.

 

[Nevermourn]

Tsume snorted good naturally and approached the man, hoping his feral appearance would not frighten him. "Wonderful wedding! To bad I lost that holocron...it really ruined my day. I'm afraid I might no be able to enjoy the rest of this fine event without it." He sighed loudly as he approached, trying to seem casual.

(I know this is short but I have a test to study for. ^^" Sorry.)

 

[Shroud]

Tony jumped up to the top of the tree, because he thought that more than 2 Padawan walking up to a man would seem suspicious. Tony watched and though to himself, "What would this man need a holocron for anyways?" Tony stayed silent up in the trees though, as he awaited to see if this man would make a move to attack his allies. He tried not to move, or make a single noise.

 

[Alucard]

*Zayne stopped and said: "Maybe he is trying to distract us. Maybe this is a trap set by the sith or a rogue jedi?" He then took his saber out again and walked behind a tree to watch the strange man*

 

[SoloWing]

Upon receiving Tsume's words, the dancing and twirling man came to an abrupt stop. he shifted his stance so that he could peer at the padawan with squinting eyes. A puzzled expression passed over his features.

"... Oh, come now." Stan said with the voice of bewilderment. "Is one material possession truly worth so much emotion? This is a grand event! Come, dance and make merry!"

With that, he began spinning away from the group of padawans. Whatever his mind was seeing, he was far more than content with it. It would take more than some paltry missing holocron to yank him from his fantasy.

 

[Nevermourn]

"Oh yes! It is of great importance to me. Have you seen it? If not, I'll just have to leave this merry event." Tsume sighed, forcing a fake tear from his right eye. "Oh dear! All my family history! Gone! Why?" He glanced around at the other padawans and winked.

(Luci told me to go.)

 

[Lupe]

Cal held back a smile, and approached the wolf, putting a solemn arm around him pretending to comfort him "It's ok...... we will find it somehow..." he said in a melancholy voice, looking at the dancing jedi "Perhaps you could help?" he asked in a sweet, smooth voice, looking at the Jedi with sad eyes.

 

[SoloWing]

A flash of irritation passed over Stan's face. Although his spinning twirls refused to cease, his head did turn to look over the two padawans. His brows furrowed quite a bit in disgust and frustration.

"This is my wedding. I've dealt with your needs every other time you've come crying to me. Can you not function without my aid for one solitary day?" Abruptly, his head snapped about to stare straight ahead where his invisible partner would be. A sigh left his lips. "Yes... I suppose you're right, dear. That was rather rude of me... But we've waited so long for this day. Why should we allow it to be ruined so easily? Surely one single fetch quest can keep."

 

[Nevermourn]

Tsume frowned as he listened, though he couldn't help but feel thankful to the addled man's imaginary wife. "If you help us, we promise to leave you and your...wife alone." He promised with a sad, dramatic smile that was clearly aimed at Stan. "We would be forever thankful."

 

[Lupe]

Cal nodded "Yes we will leave you to your privacy and vow never to bother you again if you help us" he said encouraging the man to help them or at least trying to.
