The Winds of Change
((OOC: The gist of this mission pack is to be a bit vague with the prompts, but specific enough for Senators to take the prompts and, after signing up and being accepted, to develop bills based on these prompts. Example would be the prompt of legitimizing the Border Alliance. If a Senator is interested in sponsoring a bill to do that, it is their job to write it up and get with me to hash it out and make it into an rp.))
"During this turbulent time within the Republic, characterized by bickering and inaction, the time is nigh for change, order, and stability. With the Sith threat looming, growing in strength and support with each passing day, the Republic is faced with a simple but undeniable necessity: to adapt in order to survive. In order to adapt, it all starts within the hallowed halls of the Galactic Senate: the Rotunda that dominates the skyline of Hanna City on Chandrila. Within the grand chamber in the center of the Rotunda, decisions must be made: arguments must be had. Why? Because the very soul of civilization as we know it rests on the shoulders of the men and women who grace these halls with their presence. And each of them must ask themselves one vital question. Will they flow in the direction the winds of change are blowing in? Or will they be left behind...?"
Border Alliance Legitimization Bill - Completed!
"It is evident that if the Republic is to be ready for the looming threat of the SithBrotherood, the Border Alliance must be recognized in some form or fashion, or at least supported by the Republic at large. How and when that happens though, is anyone's guess."
Objectives: Craft a piece of legislation wherein the Border Alliance is either formally recognized or supported in some manner. Do this as you see fit, whether you need to lobby, negotiate, etc.
Participants: 1 Sponsor (@Dmitri) and 1 Co-sponsor (@Outlander), with as many Senators as wants to be involved in the planning and negotiating. Involve a Committee Chairman.

Counter Terrorism and Corruption Enacting Bill
"With the death of the former Chancellor's husband, and the late Senator of Corellia, it is apparent that internal security has been jeopardized. Something must be done to ensure the safety of these servants of the people. Not to speak ill of the dead, but the existence of corruption in the form of the late Senator Krass also begs the question of 'What is being done to stop corruption before it starts?"
Objectives: Craft a piece of legislation to the effect of weeding out and eliminating terrorist cells, and corrupt influences within the Republic, whether it means the formation of an elite security force, police agency, or any other means felt necessary.
Participants: 1 Sponsor and 1 Co-sponsor, with as many Senators as wants to be involved in the planning and negotiating. Involve a Committee Chairman. (Approved Cast: @Nor'baal @Arclight )
Organized Crime Inquiry
"Rumors... whispers even... of some organized crime syndicate have surfaced. While this is not necessarily surprising considering the countless gangs running rampant in the streets of Coruscant alone, this corresponds with a massive and altogether apparent increase in crime and violence in the Outer Rim."
Objectives: Assemble a team of Senators willing to look into whether more extreme measures must be taken to combat the rumors of organized crime.
Participants: Any and all Senators willing to be a part of a combined group. If shaped into a bill, involve a committee chairman. (Approved Cast: @Magtongen @Xzig Barogus @Nathan Dimitri )
