She nodded her head again before speaking.
"He'd better be, because if we can only take so many hits before we're floating scrap."
As the TIE fighters closed in, Kat coaxed the engines to push them harder redirecting some of the power as she hoped with no big cargo they could outrun these easier. She'd never have the maneuverability of a small fighter in a cargo vessel, but she knew after all her years with this ship just what she could do.
"Hold on!" she called as the TIE fighters closed in on their position opening up their volley of firing upon the vessel and passing.
As the TIEs began to turn around for another attack, Kat took the ship toward the Sith Interdictor deciding to kill two birds with one stone. Staying close to the Interdictor, she basically was forcing all firing control on the TIE's. The Interdictor wouldn't be able to get a lock on her at all. On the other side, they were creating a distraction for the Republic ship though that wasn't Kat's original plan.
