History: Vanguard Alpha, and elite unit of The Vanguard of Eracor, has seen a fair amount of fighting in the capital city, Eracor, in the nation of Calimanor on the world of Atlana, during the Atlanian Civil War which has nearly annihilated their world. The war was caused because an idealist didn’t agree with The Counsels decision about the alien species and wanted to kill them and have only humans on the world
Beliefs: The people of Atlana are mainly force sensitive, so a fair amount of warriors are trained as Jedi. There is a mixture of Sith and Jedi beliefs in their teachings. They also believe that no one should be attuned to only light or dark side, so they keep themselves on the boarder of light and dark, grey Jedi as they are known. They believe that humans and non-humans should live in peace and harmony together.
Locations: No planet is owned by them but they now have taken an abandend asteroid base, now they are looking for another world to settle on but they had one world, Atlana a world of tropical archipelagos and lagoons.
Forces: The Vanguard Counsel only gave a few ships to Vanguard Alpha, one capital ship and 5 cruisers. Vanguard Alpha has about 10 soldiers and two Canderous Assault Tanks.
Funding: The Vanguard Counsel gave Vanguard Alpha about 10000 credits, they plan to gain more funds by doing mercenary work until they can find a world to settle on and gain more funds.
Goals: The short term and long term goals all revolve around finding a suitable planet and settling the people of Atlana on the surface.
Other important information: The majority of the Atlanians are human, but some alien species have been living amongst the humans.
