James was born in 474ABC/6972BBY on Mandalore eldest son to his father a Rally Master amongst Clan Bralor ranks and his mother an Imperial outsider. He had seven younger brothers. His earlier days of life spent training with his father to become a warrior. Amongst his peers James stature made him stand out often leading to him being a target in battle circles a fact that he would be great for later in life as it served to toughen him to adversity. When not training with his father or brothers James would spend time with his mother a mechanically gifted whom past her gift on to her eldest son.

James would eventually reach warrior-hood under the tutelage of his father it was at this point that his life began to change. As a full fledged warrior James began to fight the sith as one of there frontline shock troops as decision he had made despite the growing tension between the Empire and Mandalorians. This discions was not an easy one as James father had been distancing the family from the Empire including moving the family farm from mandalore to medriaas. James stayed on mandalore his was serving the empire and refuse to break oath despite his father admonishments. He was in field with emperial troops when word of Medriaas reached him, James reaction was well he became judge, jury, and excutioner. Now he makes his way to mandalorian space to make war on the empire.
