The Training of Aeton.

[Aeton]

As soon as Aeton stepped from the transport vehicle and onto the deck below, he was gob smacked. The sun shined brightly on his face, lighting up his black eyes into what looked like shining black marbles. Wow Aeton stuttered the single word as he looked up at the shining colossal temple which was as he was told 'The Great Temple of Ossus.'

He'd been told to come to this marvel to start his new life, training to become a Jedi. Something he'd always read about.

Tired from the long journey, Aeton walked through the open doors at the temple. Holding the strap of his backpack, he walked through the shiny cobbled hallways until he had reached an inner court-yard, he slinged the backpack from his rather hot back and set it down to the ground. He glanced his unblinking eyes around several times, smiling at those who went past. He didn't know what to expect or who was to be presented as his Master.. Only time would tell for Aeton.

Vizza stood against a wall. On his left hand, a padawan's file rested as he looked around...his padawan should be arriving at Ossus any time now. He looked again at the profile...a Nautolian. Easy to spot, if he followed the standards...which he did, by the picture he had. Vizza closed his eyes, looking with the Force...and in the landing platform, engulfed in a purple aura, a Nautolian stood. "There you are..."

Laying off the wall, he made his way towards his padawan, in a cool relaxed stance. "Hello, Ateon, I am Vizza Mander, the Knight in charge of your Jedi Training. Welcome to Ossus." Vizza stuck out a hand to shake with his padawan.

 

[Aeton]

Aeton was a little anxious, his black eyes flickered from side to side. He was nervous to meet his new master. "Hopefully, he thought to himself i'll impress this Jedi" as the very thought of dissapointing his new master crept into his mind like a black rain cloud, Aeton twitched noticing a hooded form infront of him.

Closing his eyes he vanquished the unpleasent thoughts and stared to the hand extended infront of him. Upon the Jedis words the young nautolan took the strong Zabraks hand with his own webbed, green Nautolan one. "Greetings Master Vizza." Aeton stared up into the Zabraks purple eyes with the brightest smile he could muster. For a moment the excitement of meeting such a presence like Vizza controlled him. "Shall we?" Vizzas words were soft and gentle, and with a nod Aeton followed him further into the temple.

"Follow me, we need to get you to your quarters here in the temple." Vizza motioned to Aeton to follow him. They walked down the walls of the temple, when Vizza turned to Aeton. "So, Aeton, tell me a little about yourself, if you don't mind?" As usual, Vizza wanted to know what his padawan thought of himself as an individual, rather then what his file said about him.

 

[Aeton]

"Follow me, we need to get you to your quarters here in the temple." Aeton smiled at the words by his new set master. With his webbed hands crossed behind him he smiled his usual white, shining smile to those that passed him. Upon Vizzas question of himself, Aeton blinked placing his arms down by his side.

"I'm glad you asked Master," Aeton replied. I'd like to tell you everything about me, my strengths and my weaknesses. Aeton watched his feet walk ahead and began; "I'm a strong swimmer master, a good reader too! Aeton felt himself grow cocky, a feeling he liked. I like to climb, rock climb and i'm fairly good at construction, i enjoy focusing on building things Master." Aeton looked up once again to Vizza of whoms purple eyes dazzling in the sun. "My only weakness is missing a person too much." Aeton looked down to the ground thinking of his mother and father. He glanced up for a brief second, blinking twice. "How about you master?" He looked back down smiling, waiting for a breif reply.

Vizza listened carefully to his padawan...he had pride on who he was, and he missed his family...it was natural for the first times, but in time, he would eventually need to let go. He seemed to be more interested on telling who he was, rather then who he has been. Interesting. Vizza then replied to his padawan's eager question. "Well, I was born in Idoria, but my childhood was never good. I was a near slave to my own family until a big fight hit my town, severing the very foundations of the city. There, I was found by a Jedi who took me in, allowing me to join the Jedi Order. I recieved my rank of knight after training with Master Colm...he taught me what I am today, nearly. And the future...only the Force can tell." Upon arriving to a certain door, Vizza handed the doorknob and turned it, opening the door to the Nautolian's room. "This is it, it's small and boring...but it will be your home. Hope you like it. I'll let you settle in...meet me back in the western gardens, in about 10 standard minutes."

After two minutes, Vizza sat in the gardens, inside a rock circle, on the grass, in a meditation position. Closing his eyes, he examined the world around him using the Force (Force Sight), scouting around him who what, where when how. He would wait for his padawan for about 20 minutes, it was the usual time for them to arrive...

 

[Aeton]

Aeton listened carefully to Vizzas words. He was more than interested in what his Master had to say. This was crucial for Aeton, as he needed to know all he could about this new Master to be in a zone of comfort. He stopped at the door with the Zabrak at his side. As the door opened, Aeton leaned a hand on the doorway. "Nice, this will work Master." Aeton turned in the doorway to face Vizza. "I'll let you settle in...meet me back in the western gardens, in about 10 standard minutes." "Yes Master" replied the Nautolan watching the direction the Zabrak walked so he could copy his every footsteps and arrive to the destination on time. He closed the door with a small bang.

Aeton flopped onto his bed throwing the bag to the side. He was generally exhausted and a little dizzy. He sprang from the bed, grabbing his bag. He began unpacking, folding his robes neatly and eventually placing them in drawers a few feet from the door. Aeton looked around, his smile ignited the place with white glow. He took from the back two more items, his modified vision binoculars and his family photo, both of which he placed on the bedsit.

Once he shoved the bag under the bed Aeton started for the door, he looked on the room once more and smiled. He opened the door slowly walking out and closed it afterwards. He raced down the hallways following different signs, he was early, he knew that but all he wanted to do ever was impress. He was either going to be early or bang on time, never late. He slowed down as he neared the western gardens. He wiped his moist head and wiped down his hands and slowly advanced towards Master Vizza.

His padawan arrived almost in time...13 minutes. I was good. He just set up a time so he would remember to meet him, lest they would forget, like he would. Vizza smiled and opened his eyes, waving his hand slightly at his padawan, motioning him to sit in front of him. "Sit tight...we'll be talking for awhile before starting your training..."

 

[Aeton]

Aeton smiled at Vizzas words. "Yes Master" .With his long, green tendrils behind his back he sat down close to the Jedi. He'd not got over his excitement. It seemed all like a dream to the Nautolan, a dream that felt as real as it actually was. Aeton looked upon the great Zabrak and smiled his wide smile, awaiting further words of wisdom.

"I would like to know what are your thoughts on the Force, and what training have you experienced within the Force, if any." Vizza was feeling a slight fervour from Aeton, but he wasn't sure wether it was good or bad...

 

[Aeton]

Aeton shuffled around into a more comfortable position. He was no longer shaking or nervous. The question had calmed his peace of mind and it brought him comfort. It reminded him of the time he sat and read books with his father, books of mystery. He switched glances with his master and his answer flowed gently from his mouth; "I think, master the force is a binding of the galaxy. I like to see the force as an energy field created by all living things. I know it holds great importance in the ways of the Jedi, master. It is what gives the Jedi his power after all."

Aeton slid his left hand along the stone wall he was sitting upon and looked up, giving a final statement. "What it should be used for, is healing and for the harmony of the galaxy. This is what my opinion on the force is, Master". With this Aeton gave another white, shining smile to the Zabrak.

Vizza smiled back at his Padawan. “Mhm, not a bad opinion, I guess. Each and every one of us shares an opinion, and each and every one of us is right. All it takes is belief on what you think.” Vizza picked a sash out of his pocket, and rested it on his leg. “Can you manipulated the Force in any way, so far?”

 

[Aeton]

Aeton, upon the reply of Master Vizza was intrested into why the Zabrak seemed to be asking such 'Advanced' questions."No Master, .. I'm unsure master." Aeton didn't know what power was running through his body, he didn't know if he could the manipulate the force or control it greatly. He looked down at his webbed green hands, pondering his power, if he had any as of yet.

Vizza's smile shook a little, but he quickly got it back up. His padawan seemed to doubt, aout himself, perhaps. "Well, there is only one way to find if you can...take this." Vizza handed the sash to Aeton. "Cover your eyes with it, and we should start our test."

 

[Aeton]

Aeton reached for the sash and took it into his fingers. He looked at it for a few seconds, wondering if it held any sort of mystery. Aetons mind was always free thinking. He covered his unblinking eyes and placed his two hands on his knees. His breathe was slow and steady..

 

[DhehKappa]

"Good. Take deepe breaths...you will now attempt to use the Force to see for you. You will use Force Sight. Just let the Force flow...let it flow freely through you...and try to percieve the world with it." As he talked, Vizza closed his own eyes, and he would do the exercice with his padawan.

 

[Aeton]

"Yes Master" Aetons voice sounded as calm as it had ever been. He felt a calming sensation rush straight through his body, it was as gentle as a summers day. Aeton enjoyed the feeling and couldn't help but smile. He was picturing everything he wanted to see, and yet concentrated on the task at hand.

Vizza smiled, as his padawan smiled too. All around them was purple, including themselves. Vizza always had this kind of sight, and he wondered, even if he suspected the answer, if other people saw diferently. In his meditating position, he could relax, even though it wasn't his favourite position. Kidding with the Force, Vizza made himself float couple inches about the ground, breathing slowly, keeping his focus both on his TK and on the Sight.

 

[Aeton]

All that surrounded Aeton were light shades of blue. This calmed him even more. It maybe calmed him more than he needed. Blue was Aetons favorite color, it reminded him of the sea, his family and his friends and how he used to swim great lengths. Aeton was in his zone of happiness, a strange feeling returned to him. It was the same as he was on the transport over to Ossus. He felt he could do anything, touch anything and even.. see anything.

There was not a nerve in his body that wasn't calm. And there, there they were. His family. Aeton let out his greatest smile, his marble like eyes covered with the sash were still capable of glinting their usual white glint. He could see them clear as day, he was only feet from them infact. Although, they seemed to take no notice of him. Aeton, standing tall in this dream like feeling stood and watched his family until something brought him back to reality. His smile faded.

Vizza had just slapped the nautolian. Vizza stood next to Aeton, while Aeton was lying on the ground. Vizza was worried…out of the blue, his Padawan simply fell down, but still smiling. He had no clue what had happened, but it sure had to be something related to the exercise. “Aeton, can you hear me? What happened?”
