The Toasted Twi'lek ~

One of Those Nights

♬♫♩♪... ♬♩♫♪... ♫♪♩♫♪

Serreed would enter The Toasted Twi'lek with a grin on his face, taking off his glasses and tapping his cane in cadence with every footstep as he swaggered over to the bar. He and his brother were proud to be partners with Blythe and soon his plans for the entertainment of the venue were going to be taking shape. As he got to the bar he would circumvent the seats and enter through to get behind it himself. The bartender's paid him no mind except for respect as they too were by technicality his employees. He though had a strange personality compared to the owner, was nonetheless a practical businessman.

"Alright ladies, y'all know the drill." Puff would announce with excitement in his voice "Tonight's gonna be a busy one, know what I'm saying? I got some new high energy shit bumping in the playlist for tonight, high energy means thirsty customers. I'ma need you to be ready to pump out them drinks ya dig?" Puff would fire up the staff for the night ahead. Taking a nearby cloth to wipe down a part of the counter he would set himself up in a seat a open up his Datapad.

Flipping through a tracklist of music, it was clear he was using this as a remote link to the bar wide audio systems so he could personally DJ for the bar this evening. Selecting the track (Linked Above in Musical Notes). Serreed would then reach for a bottle of Bith Mist, his favorite liquor from behind the counter. Pouring himself a glass he would take a sip as the song's ambient intro played. Then pulling from his cigar case he would conjure up a Gabaki cigarra and ignite it with a large plume of smoke clouding the area of the bar he was occupying. Scanning the crowd, it was somewhat small, but not for long. It was just One Of Those Nights.

It wasn't often that Drama sat behind the curtains at the Toasted Twi'lek, but it happened, mostly when she just wanted to cool down a bit before going out among the customers. This time, she had just come in from a contract sent out from one of the Hutts and had just finished washing of her hands. Standing at the sink with the arms of her black hoodie rolled up over her forearms she let the hot water wash over her. Nar Shaddaa wasn't a cold world, nor had she been filthy enough to warrant the warmth of the water flowing over her arms, but it was something she did after taking care of a bounty.

Normally it was something she'd do at her own home, but this time she hadn't gone home but straight to the Toasted Twi'lek, having heard something about something going down tonight, so she wanted to be there to see what was going to happen. That was when some stranger walked into the area where the Bartenders were preparing for the night to come, and where Drama was standing.

As the man announced something about knowing the drill she tilted her head slightly, her left hand slipping out of from the stream of water and slowly behind her back. Her hand gripped the familiar grip of one of her two blasters. Her mind had instantly gone to that he was trying to rob the Toasted Twi'lek and was thus a threat when she remembered something about a deal having been made between some music producers or something? And considering none of the bartenders weren't reven remotely scared she jumped to the conclusion that she had been the paranoid one.

Letting go of the grip once more she washed her hands one final time and dried them off on a towel before heading over to a locker and standing in front of it for a few seconds before deciding to not stash away her feeling of safety for the moment. Instead she put away the white and orange goggles into the locker, locking it and taking the key with her.

Slipping out from the area designated 'STAFF ONLY' she spotted the man who seemed to be the partner Blythe had signed with. Deciding that it might be good to get a feel of him she reached into her pockets and brought out a pack of cigarettes and sat down on the stool in front of him. Placing her hand on the datapad he had been using and sliding it to the side. "Won't you be a doll and get me a glass of Corellian Double Brandy?" Drama spoke and raised her brow. "Or do I have to fetch it myself?"

The tune was still playing in the background, The rap verse which he had performed in it was catchy enough. It was his singing he was hoping would shine bright in this piece however. As he would bob his head to the tune occasionally pulling some smoke from his Gabaki cigarra or a sip from his Bith Mist. A crisp ahh left his lips as he smacked then puckered them in reaction. Noticing a few of the dancer's working on their routines and the bartender's also busy at work he would look at the timer left for the track. It would end soon, so he began to browse his catalogue.

A beautiful blue haired dame would come from the staff only area not but a few moments after he began to browse. Clutching a pack of Tabac cigarettes she sat on the opposite stool to the direction he was facing. Pushing his Datapad before he could make a selection. "Won't you be a doll and get me a glass of Corellian Double Brandy?" The woman spoke and raised her brow. "Or do I have to fetch it myself?"

Serreed would stand, placing his cigarra in his mouth as he set down his own drank and walked back behind the bar. "Aight, no problem girl shit. You said Correllian Double Brandy? Kriffing good choice. I like you already, I'm one of Blythe's partners." Puff would say as he poured her glass and sat it before her on the counter. "Serreed, Serreed 'Puff Daddy' Combo, nice to make acquaintance with such a fine little chick like you." He would continue with slight flirtation as he again reached for his Datapad finally selecting a new song.

"Puff Daddy's just a performance name, well my friends still call me Puff... as for the ladies. Well that's where the Daddy comes into play honey." Puff would turn up the heat by one hundred with that last racy comment. Not only was he being flirtatious and cheeky. He was gauging the woman, after all. She was an employee.

James walked into the bar, and sat at a booth. He looked around the bar, he was a frequent customer here, but he wanted to see who was here, whether it was local law enforcement or fellow Hutt Cartel members. The bar was relatively empty considering it was a well known bar. He spotted two people, one male and one female talking to each other at the bar. Nice rap music was playing on a radio nearby and it soothed James's muscles. It was nice to relax and drink for awhile. He ordered some whiskey and popped the bottle open. The woman was smoking some cigar, and James remembered when he used to smoke, but quit the habit due to a friend's warning. As for drinking and gambling, well lets just say he loved it all. Drinking some whiskey while playing sabbac was amazing. He tended to waste credits at various bars and casinos. He also was well known at some local casinos, that he frequently attended. James took out his data pad, and scrolled through the daily news, seeing if there was anything new. Nothing caught his eyes.....yet.

Athena was still manning the bar as usual, giving all of her patrons loads of drinks and love which she usually put a front up to all the patrons, after all, Athena wasn't someone who could automatically make herself happy. At the moment she didn't really know where she was with her emotions. The only way that she could describe herself was in limbo. She just kept going up and down and up and down, so she just shut off her emotions entirely, almost like she was a sociopath faking emotions while she shut herself off from the world. What she did quite like when she was quiet, she was able to do her main profession and gather intelligence on a few of her clients as well as her own personal hobbies, so every so often, she would check her datapad under the counter.

However when Athena heard Drama's request for her Corellian Double Brandy so she quickly got to work, preparing her drink with ease and walking towards her with a small tray with her drink. "Here you are miss! A Corellian Double Brandy! Just like you asked for." She said politely before swiftly returning back to her station like nothing had ever happened, putting in an ear phone so that she could listen to some relaxing music while she did her thing. All she really wanted to do was fight. She craved it, or a chance to use her dual pistols, Lillyana and Mila. She had been out of practice with her guns for so long and she needed to get back into it.

With metal music pounding in her ear and the craving for a fight, she carried out her drinks into the crowd, making sure that everyone got their fill. However when Athena was walking around the club, she soon noticed that someone was very clearly trying to grab her attention and wasn't going to dignify it with a response. However, that all changed when she was grabbed from behind, spinning her around and almost making her drop her drinks. She couldn't let that sort of behaviour go unpunished. So she carefully put down her drinks and pulled the man out the bar, her high heels tapping loudly against the floor as she stormed out.

5 minutes later
Two loud gunshots could be heard from outside before Athena stormed back in, her stiletto's still trailing in blood as she made her way back towards the bar counter with fury in her eyes, repelling everyone away from her in fear of what she might do to them. However Athena felt slightly happy that now she had finally used her weapons in what seemed to be like an eternity! However she had a job to do and the customers seemed to be as busy as ever.

As the man stood up and walked away for a few seconds she watched him closely, almost as if she was cataloging his movement and as he returned and spoke, his speech. When he returned she took the glass of Corellian Double Brandy, taking a whiff of it before sipping the liquid and putting down the glass afterwards. Sereed Combo, aka 'Puff Daddy'... hmh. She tilted her head just slightly and was just about to speak when a bartender, one she didn't recognize placed another glass next to her other. Her head turning as she eyed the woman for a few seconds before turning back to her company.

"Well, greetings, Serreed." She said, voice calm and collected as she took another sip from the glass he had given her. "I'm Dreema, I guess you could say that I'm a partner of Blythe's as well. Though I don't deal with 'chicks'." Her voice was still as calm as it had been before. She looked at him, trying to gauge his personality without asking too many questions, as too many questions could be taken the wrong way.

He seemed to be controlling the music from his Datapad, and from his choices so far, he seemed to be like the average cartel dealer, and was without a doubt involved with the spice that she had seen an increase of coming in and out of the Twi'lek, but she didn't mind drugs, after growing up among druggies, dealers and those who make it, you grew jaded towards it. But as her mental cataloging of 'Puff' was going on, a familiar woman came into view and joined her, drawing her attention yet again. Smiling she nodded at her. Spotting the offered joint she raised her hand and shook her head. "A bit too early for me to hit the G now, later hun'."

It seemed that Nisa had been hired as well by Blythe, or was contributing to the establishment in some manner, and it was delivering drugs. She watched as she pulled off her backpack and dumped it on the bar, Drama slid her two glasses away from the bag as Nisa began to dig out a metal container, containing ziplocks of some pills, Pryodene, eh? She thought as she listened to Nisa's plans for the night to drop some later.

"I'll take you up on that later, hun'." She said, catching the wink. Wasn't Nisa with that Twi'lek girl? Xianna? Perhaps not. That night was still fuzzy, she remembered parts of it, but couldn't make out the entire thing, perhaps that was for the best, it usually was for the best.

Alais had heard about this Toasted Twi’lek quite a few times. After spending enough time moping around about the Jedi trial, she decided it was high time for her to get out and have some fun. The first things she wanted to do involved things the Jedi would turn their noses up at. This included getting herself a tight, little black dress that hugged her curves just right and ended far too high. She even threw on some high heels that made her appear slightly taller than her usual diminutive size.

Since her days as a pit fighter, she grew her hair out, soft curls hanging at her shoulders. Alais was small enough to easily weave her way past the crowds, making her way over to the bar. Miraculously, she found herself a seat and plopped down, calling the bartender over for a drink. Being as small as she was, she only needed a few drinks before it all kicked in.

Within moments, she had a few shots in front of her with some bright liquids. Alais didn’t hesitate to knock them back one by one, wanting to get out to the dance floor as soon as she could. It only took a few moments before she began to feel that familiar buzz. Alais spun her seat around to look at all the other patrons, taking in sight of the men and women that were all letting loose around her.

Alais heard some faint gunshots, and she tilted her head back to look, catching a woman quickly rushing in from outside. She eyed the woman curiously for a moment before shrugging and getting back to people-watching. Alais felt the music begin to travel through her body, and she found herself grooving a little in her seat, eyeing the dance floor as her next stop.

"Oi, take me to the Toasted Twi'lek, lad." The professional pit fighter Crom McCready said to his cab driver as he drunkenly slammed into the back seat. "Heard there was a big party going on over there, let's go!" The driver nodded in response, the already pre-gamed Crom drumming his fingers on the back of the seat in front of him impatiently as the shuttle car took off slowly. Crom had plenty reasons to celebrate, he had been winning fights, he had been making money, he had been meeting a ton of interesting people. Now was a night for him to push all of it aside, the fights, the adventures, the victories, the defeats. Everything. Tonight was about getting wasted and having fun.

He had already crossed off one of those items off his list, the man finally reclining in the cab seat with a big goofy grin on his face. He looked a little bit less ridiculous than usual, foregoing a suit or a strange coat for a blue collared shirt with the front opened to display his tattooed chest proudly. It was bright and colorful, being a lot less extravagant than his usual outfits but was perfect for a party in which he'd probably be dancing at. Crom looked at the massive watch on his wrist and sighed, even though it was still fairly early in the night he didn't want to miss anything.

As they pulled up they heard gunshots, neither men flinching however. This was Nar Shaddaa, after all.

"Thanks lad, keep the change." Crom said, handing the cab driver enough peggats to cover the ride as he drunkenly stumbled out of the vehicle. He totally missed the commotion Athena had caused and didn't catch her, last seeing her in their fight at the Nar Shaddaa Invitational that hadn't been too long ago. The last time he had went to the Twisted Twi'lek things got strange, the perfect mix of alcohol and shenanigans. Now he was aiming to one up himself this time and strolled right in.

Crom entered the room taking in the loud space hop music, a familiar artist playing causing Crom to instantly bob his head in response. He thought about how he had most likely walked out to this artist before, this genre of music his favorite. It all seemed to be conveniently falling in place, the music, the people, his insane buzz he was experiencing already. Crom looked to the dance floor at all the happy dancers, the man planning on joining them shortly as he headed to the bar to get a drink to keep the party going. It wasn't packed yet but it would only be a matter of time before the party truly started.

"Oi! Droid." He shouted to the bar-tending droid that was helping Blythe and her staff keep up with the rush of people that was currently entering the bar. "Give me your strongest kriffin' drink." He paused, remembering why that was a bad idea. "That a human can drink." He slammed the money down on the bar top and began waiting on his drink as the droid rolled away. Turning his head side to side as he stood at the bar he seen the two people next to him. To his right was a massive Gigoran, a white furry alien that hardly spoke basic. To his left, an attractive young woman in a tight black dress that didn't leave much to the imagination. She was bobbing her head along to the beat of the music playing as was Crom so he decided to strike up a conversation while he waited on his drink.

"Like this song, lass? Pretty damn great, ye?"
He asked, offering her a friendly smile. Crom was drunk but at the very least he wasn't incoherent yet. Luckily for the woman next to him he wasn't that much of a creeper either. That much. He looked at the bar and seen how many shots she had already slammed back and was surprised at how many she had just drank. "Damn. Putting me to kriffin' shame right now with them drinks!" He said with a laugh as the bartender came back with his drink.

"Here is your: Electric Blast." The robotic bartender hissed as Crom took his drink from its tray, "Please enjoy!"

"Thanks clanker!"
Crom paused, taking note how the woman was still here just eyeing the dance floor. "What are you waiting at the bar for, lass? Party is out there."

Serreed would look back at the blue haired woman. She seemed to be studying him. He would chuckle in reply to her answer. "Shit honey I didnt mean nothing by it, we cool." He would say as a woman with a backpack took a seat near the two. She would greet the two with familarity even calling Puff by his first name. Blythe must have informed her of the partnership.

"Yeah but you can all me Puff, or Puff Daddy. Or just Daddy. Ya dig?"
Turning his attention to the newest addition to the conversation. She introduced herself and explained that she too was one of Blythe's partners. Also telling them she was also helping keep this bar "supplied". Dumping the contents of her bag before them onto the bar. Still smoking on his cigarra he would grin with it in his mouth before exhaling to say "Niiiccee! Let me grab one of dem shieeeeett, tonights about to be lit so I might as well get lit too ya dig?" He would say reaching for one of the Pryodene. Popping it in his mouth and slamming the rest of his Bith Mist to wash it down.

Drama, as Nisa referred to her opted to wait a little longer to partake in said extracurricular activities. Puff on the other hand knew tonight was a night worth celebrating. Him and his brother have come far, so it was time to kick back and enjoy the night. Blaster shots rang outside, no strange occurence on Nar Shaddaa. Puff wasnt paranoid inside The T.T. knowing every motherkriffer in there would shoot any trouble makers on sight.

Athena one of bartenders would storm in a few moments later. Causing Puff to shake his head with a grin as if he knew what went down. Looking up from his Datapad as the song began to end he would look down the bar. Noticing a woman bobbing her head to the music, dressed in a dark dress. She was quite a catch he was sure, judging from her looks. She had a flight of drinks laid in front of her. Either she was drinking to escape or genuinly looking to get kriffed the kriffed up.

Then a boistoursly dressed, and obviously intoxicated gentlemen joined her at the bar. His accent paired with his slightly slurred speech was a sign the man was no stranger to a good time. It would take him only a second to realize who it was. A regualr here, as Blythe informed him and a famous fighter. Crom McCready. Grinning slightly he knew just the song to get people really hype.

Suu fumbled with the keypad lock on the door to his studio apartment that only sat two blocks from the Toasted Twi'lek the business venture he had plans of investing in after having turned in his saber for the bounty. Pressing the wrong button combination for the fifth time the harsh beep of the pad pissed him off slightly as he swayed; smacking his hand open palm against it and mashing several keys at once it shrieked at him again.

"Kriffing garbage!" He shouted before a smile crept across his face, as Suu noticed his pre-gaming was finally catching up with him, after slamming five shots of some corellian rum about a half an hour ago before he began getting dressed. The warmth began to fill his midsection and he felt the effects in his motions before he took a deep breath and focused momentarily to punch in the correct combo with a cheerful ding his door was locked. Closing his eyes momentarily for a personal party in his head he spun to his left and jumped in the turbolift which brought him to the ground level of his building where he then made for the Toasted Twi'lek.
_____________________________________________________________________

Approaching the front entrance a small line had formed as Suu made his way past them and bumped a fist with the bouncer. Perks of being involved with the owner, opening the door he stood in the entrance for a moment as he instantly recognized the song playing, the spacehop scene was one Suu loved as a smile crept across his face.

Suu was wearing an upscale ensemble, sporting a black three piece suit with a shawl collar and a solid gold stud in place of a tie. His brown boots with a coat of polish on them and his blaster holstered underneath the jacket; Suu ran his hand along the side of his head matting the hair back down with the product already present as he smiled even wider. Walking to the bar he spotted a number in a tight black dress and some others along with a woman who looked like she had just killed someone, and some fellow shouting with an accent. The best crowd in Suu's opinion as he approached the bar he made eye contact with the bar tender who would know his face by now and let out a whistle before calling him over.

"Everyone at the counter right now." He said leaning in with a grin and a chuckle breaking up his sentence. "DRINKS ON ME, WERE SENDING IT TONIGHT." He shouted looking to the others at the bar and recognizing Puffy as the artist who was playing. Going wide eyed for a moment he turned his glance to the number in the black dress before introducing himself "You look like someone who needs a drink and to dance miss." His composure regaining as a devilish smile crept across his face. (@Sreeya)

He'd heard about the Toasted Twi'lek, the bar had an unusual amount of buzz around it and attracted a large amount of patrons...even for a bar. The Wook suspected at first that it was due to activity like a casino or money-laundering, but now that he stepped inside, he wasn't very sure of that. Perhaps it was just a solid establishment. A cab dropped off someone that looked familiar...hadn't that guy been at the Nar Saddaa Invitational? He seemed built for the ring. The Wook had elected to walk, a dangerous proposition, but he'd gotten to break a pick-pocket's hand on the way to the Twi'lek, so it hadn't been a total waste of time. He wondered if the poor guy would ever gain full use of his hand again; there'd been a lot of popping noises.

Just before he reached the entrance to the bar, The Wook stopped as he spotted something curious on the ground. It was a small trail of blood that led...inside. Huh. Now that was interesting. He was glad he'd bought that pistol a while back. The Wook glanced down the road and thought he could see someone's shoe sticking out from an alley. Perhaps a patron had been a little too unruly. The Wook shrugged, it wasn't any of his concern. He pushed open the door and stepped inside.

It appeared that the day's rush had already begun. The bar was hoppin', and the music was blasting. He could see a DJ, and The Wook gave him a little nod of respect for his excellent choice of beats. He wandered over to the bar and looked up at the menu as he waited for the bartender to finish up with some other patrons. His eyes lit up as he saw his favorite beer. Excellent. The Wook didn't really feel like sitting at the bar. His size tended to get in the way of other people and he didn't really like drunken scum and villainy climbing on him. He spotted an unoccupied table, choice real estate in a busy bar. He would have to la claim to it quickly. The server droid approached him (of course it was a droid) and asked what he wanted. "Uugggh huurh uuh raaaaaahhgh huuguughghg uughghhhgh uughguughhhghghghhhgh aarrragghuuhw raaaaaahhgh."

With his drink order taken, The Wook pushed off from the bar and headed over to that table. Some human was also making for the table and locked eyes with him. The Wook shook his head, not smiling. The human stopped to rethink his decision. Could he take a wookiee? No, probably not. The Wook was victorious once more. He sat down and drew a pazaak deck from a pouch as he waited for his beer. Perhaps he could get a game going, it had been too long since he last played. He scanned the crowd, trying to catch someone's eye.

Alais was getting to the point where her face felt slightly numb, and she was in an exceedingly good mood. She looked over as a man sauntered over to the bar and called the droid for a drink. As he asked about the song, Alais nodded, “I don’t get around much, so anything with a beat wins me over,” She looked back over at her line of shots and chuckled. There was still one drink left that she hadn’t touched yet.

As the droid handed over his drink, Alais couldn’t help but eye it, “Electric Blast? Sorry, hun, but that's got my name on it,” She looked up at Crom, “Trade?” She gave him a playful wink as she switched up their drinks, giving him her expensive, but untouched drink. Alais knocked back the electric blast without a second thought, pausing as she felt it charge right through her. There was definitely a reason they called it this. Her eyes went wide and she shook her head, “WWWWOOOOOWWWWW!” She all but shrieked, before looking around slightly embarrassed, quickly handing the glass back to Crom, “Sorry…but damn. I’m getting that next time.”

She turned over in time to see a nicely dressed man come by her way. Alais eyed him for a moment, finding something oddly familiar about him. Had they met before? She almost mentioned something, but decided it would sound entirely like a cliché pick up line. Instead, she simply grinned at his words, “I got the drinks covered, which leaves only the dancing,” With that she got to her feet, taking a moment to make sure she could keep her balance. She was fully ready to go now.

When the woman turned to face him his brow furled for a moment, her voice... He knew it from somewhere and not being one to chase women Suu knew it wasn't from a venture out in Nar Shaddaa but he couldn't exactly place it and would continue to search his brain but not too hard.

Extending a hand as she rose from her stool, he chuckled
"You look like you've got a head start on me". Reaching for a shot that was sitting on the bar for him as the tender had began filling others glasses per his request Suu slammed the liquid back. More corellian rum in his system to keep the buzz going as he turned and smiled at Alais again before leading her off to the dance floor shamelessly giving he a once over as he turned momentarily walking backwards and giving her face a good look. He wasn't checking her out, well he was but in a trying to figure out who she was kinda way "This is going to sound crazy but... Do I know you from somewhere?" He uttered the cliche sounding pickup line but he actually meant it as they reached the dance floor.(@Sreeya)

Crom didn't have much time to react as the woman grabbed his drink and put her's in place of the Electric Blast. If it had been a man who had done that Crom would be furious but a pretty girl? He shrugged, downing the expensive drink and let out a groan. It was awful, he had no idea how she had drank so many of those. "Fair warning lass, expensive don't mean good. You owe me for drinking that piss there for ye you-" Before Crom could finish his sentence another man had sauntered over and asked her for a dance. Crom laughed, it was a bit sudden especially with the two in mid-conversation but he couldn't fault the man for seizing the opportunity. He was about to do the same himself but he had been too busy drinking the awful drink. "Name's Crom, lass. Don't forget the sacrifice I just made for you, ye? Catch youse around." He said with a smirk, leaving the bar himself spotting Serreed "Puff Daddy" Combo not too far away. Crom was a big fan of him and his brother's music and one of Biggs' songs had just came on so he planned on introducing himself.

As they got ready to leave Crom shot Suu a wink "Warm her up for me, boy." He whispered to him condescendingly, taunting the man who had appeared out of no where as he squeezed past the two of them.

Breaking from the counter Crom finally approached Serreed with an, "Oi! Puff!" He said loudly, getting his attention away from the women he was near. Crom fortunately didn't spot Nisa or Drama, having history with both of them and not wanting to get into it when he just wanted to have some fun. "Big fan, lad. Nar Shaddaa Slum Lords? Best kriffin' album of the god damn decade." He said with a big grin. Usually Crom wouldn't get worked up over celebrities trying to be one himself but Serreed? He was exactly the type of person the fighter wanted to get to know.

"Name's Crom McCready. I'm a fighter, been in the Grand Bounta's Eve, Nar Shaddaa Invitational... Foguht in just about every chitty washed up pit arena from here to Coruscant. Walked out to some of you and your brother's music a time or two." He said, introducing himself to the space hop artist and gangsta. "You spinning tonight? No wonder this place is kriffin' ballistic right now, lad!"

Alais didn’t miss where his gaze went as he tugged her out to the dance floor. She followed him along, gazing at him as he turned to look at her. She had a grin on her face, “Yes, and you don’t need to check out my ass to figure out if we’ve met before,” Alais gave him a wink as she moved closer to him and began to move to the rhythm. She had no problems with falling into step with him and moving surprisingly well for being drunk. It was clear that dancing was something she enjoyed tremendously.

After a spin, she came back around into his arms and smiled at him, “Last time we met, I threw your ass across the room,” She lifted his arm and spun around again and came in once more, “And you can stop hyperventilating – I still don’t have a saber on me,” Alais kept dancing to the music, her body moving to the rhythm.

There was confidence in every step, and she had no problems with letting loose. Alais passed the reins back over to him, allowing him to lead the dance however he pleased. She followed along without any effort, glancing up to lock her gaze with his where he would see that ominous shade of yellow. That wasn’t there the last time they met.

Suu spun her as she took the lead in the dancing for a moment, flowing with it he was no stranger to making good moved on the dance floor, moving in rythm with her.
"Well that wasn't the only thing I was checking out." He said with a cold sweat forming on his brow when she reminded him just who she was, he pulled her in close and put his mouth next to her ear having sobered up mildly due to the sudden shock and unmissable fear that betrayed his thoughts before his confidence returned to him with his next words. His mind began to run about a thousand miles a moment as their last exchange slammed into his memory clear as day and he opened his mouth a moment later. "Good thing you don't have it with you now either, I was occupied last time." He said spinning her outwards and locking eyes with a piercing gaze, he was stone cold and serious now the dance had turned into something less than pleasant for him in that moment.

Her eyes were different, yellowed even at his inspection. Suu knows how dangerous these types can be even without weapons at their disposal.
"So what brings you walking into a place full of people who'd kill you before even knowing you didn't have that glowbat on you?" He jested as he spun her back in now having her front to back and wrapped with his arms around her midsection hands still interlocked.

He wasn't planning on turning the place into a bloodbath unless someone else started something, and he had no quarrel with Alais as a person.
"You know I had to do some heavy lifting the last time we met.." He spoke as they swayed to the music, he would let he make the next move to the song as he idly swayed to the rythm body to body.

It was going to be another one of those nights; a rager. She could feel it coming, feel the electricity and excitement in the air... and well, see it everywhere since her cantina was packed full with people.

She was a petite woman and that usually meant she had a easy time navigating through crowds, but this one was tough. Especially in her high heels. At least they matched nicely with her form fitting red crepe dress, which covered more of her bust than her original one and fell slightly above the knees. She liked feeling pretty, just not as 'pretty' as her black crepe made her feel.

Shortly after she stepped into her cantina a large wookiee caught her eye. She could've sworn she had seen it somewhere before, but shrugged off the feeling so she could quickly get behind her bar, since they'd likely need her help. On her way, however, her gaze stopped on one other thing, something she didn't quite expect. Was it? She double checked. It was. Suu was dancing with some strange girl. The sight took Blythe a moment to fully process.

Once she did fully process it, she decided to just go behind her bar and start serving drinks. Suu and her weren't official, and if he wanted to dance with other girls that was his business. That's what she told herself anyway.

James was deeply reading his data pad, when several people of different species walked into the bar. A particular being, or rather a Wookie stood out among the other beings. He towered over the people and had several weapons on him. James decided not to judge him, because anyone could go to any bar they wanted. It wasn't his business. He heard faint blaster shots outside, and craned his neck to get a better view of outside. He couldn't see much, but didn't really care much. As long as the blaster wielding fool wasn't coming inside, that was all that mattered. He decided that to be extra careful and cautious, he would exit through the emergency exit door. He took another long look around the building, and went back to reading the news.

The bar was bustling tonight. Zaq was no newbie, but this was the busiest he'd ever seen it, and it was also the only time he had gotten to see Puff Daddy himself, in the flesh. Through the cantina, various characters were getting warmed up for the events scheduled, and it seemed as though the bounty hunter was a bit late. Then again, things never do begin on time at parties like this.

To get in the mood, he had brought the most expensive spice cigarras he owned, although he had forgotten to actually bring something to light them with. After spending 5 minutes patting himself up and down (and likely looking like a fool doing it), the man finally came to terms with his lack of a lighter, and decided to solve the problem. He might as well mingle while he did it.

He made a beeline for the singer's table, sitting at one of the only empty seats left, and turning to Puff Daddy, cigarra in hand. "You got a light?" he asked, both as a conversation starter, but also because this was the longest he had gone without smoking anything. He could feel the withdrawal kicking in.

Loud footsteps and several gasps could be heard from several patrons as Ziraen made his way into the establishment. The 7.2 feet tall Karkarodon was a sight to behold. The bounty hunter was indeed well known, his reputation of ruthlessness and skill was spoken over hushed words, especially on Nar Shaddaa and other shady worlds. He observed the bar carefully, his pitch black eyes scanning over each detail before he moved towards the bar.

The monstrosity motioned to the barkeeper who hurried towards him.
"Whisky, the expensive kind." The Karkadon said with a rough and loud voice. When the barkeeper had given him his whisky he quickly threw some credits on the bar and moved further into the establishment, paying extra attention to the dance floor. Ziraen had decided he would have some fun tonight, be it with a woman or by fighting some poor fool who didn't know his place.

The large and muscular 'man' stopped when he found a nice place to watch the dancing and leaned back as he downed the whisky in one go.
