The Think Tank

Just as a preliminary announcement, since I've gotten some questions about this, the think tank will be chosen in a few days. We will put up another thread about the think tank when we're ready to begin choosing, but I ask that you all please be patient.

This timeline change is not going to happen for a few weeks, and it will not be rushed. It will be given the amount of time it needs in order to be properly fleshed out, so in the meantime please be sure to keep RPing in order to wrap up your character and this timeline.

A think tank is a collection of the admins, current faction leaders, and a group of nominated users that get together to come up with the background and preliminary content for a timeline.

I'd say you would get updates. I would imagine it would be torture to be kept in the dark lol.

It's sad to loose characters, but theres always potential to make more just as good as the last! Maybe even better.

I'm starting to write a character profile already(for an indy character that'll be paired with my friends) and having a blast with it.

No, we very likely will not allow any characters to be carried over in any form. Sorry.

No, we can't. As we've said, we've really only decided on what's in the "The Fifth Timeline" thread. We have no information about technology, beliefs, and factions yet.

What about androids from the KOTOR era timeline?

That's not something I'll pursue - I'm a big fan of a nice blank slate to work with - but I figure some people might have interest in it.

We've had families exist from the KOTOR(Around 3,400 BBY) timeline back to the Alsakan Timeline(13,000 BBY), so I think it will be fine.
