The Taming of the Shrew

[Brandon Rhea]

*He held her tightly, taking in her beauty as the gentle breeze rushed against his face. He looked down at her, showing the smile that made her fall in love with him.*

"What now? I've never been engaged before."

 

[Lillianne Crasse]

She laughed at his question and pulled her head back to look him in the eyes.

"Well, Ussej, usually there's a wedding to plan...at least that is what is insinuating. Yet, when is going to be difficult. The Jedi still are in exile and Kit...." Her voice dropped off and she cast her eyes downward.

"I want my brother to be there if possible."

Laili knew exactly what she was asking of him and knew he would combat her saying again how unlikely it was to turn Ravinos back to the man he once was. Yet, even now in her mind, she knew it would happen.

 

[Brandon Rhea]

*He kissed her softly, smiling.*

"I guess we'll be waiting a while for our wedding then..."

 

[Lillianne Crasse]

His response was not what she had expected, yet her confusion melted away with his kiss. This was the man she had met on Coruscant and fell in love with. She looked at him with so much love and smiled.

"Thank you for understanding, Ussej. Oh how I love you."

She rose on her tip toes and kissed him tenderly but with an urgency. It didn't matter that others may pass by and see them. Laili was filled only with the love and want of this man in her arms again.

"Don't make me spend another night alone, Ussej..."

 

[Brandon Rhea]

"Never, Laili. Never will you have to be alone again. No harm can ever come to you, as I will never leave you. I'd do anything for you."

*His voice was soft and calm, yet awkwardly disturbing.*

 

[Lillianne Crasse]

A cold chill moved across her body as the hairs on the back of her neck and her arms stood on their end. Words that should have been calming and even soothing for her to hear instead filled the back of her mind with dread. Her deep blue eyes studied his, yet all she found within them were the love for her.

OOC: Need to talk to you about how we're going to transition to the next phase from this one....

"There's rumor of an apartment that's been abandoned nearby....I had thought of taking it for myself after agreeing to smuggle some things for the queen and Jedi..."

OOC: This really sucks and I'll probably change it later...rofl. It's the only thing coming to mind right now though. I can take it out if you'd like after you read it....probably can figure up a better transition.

OOC: Do you remember how we transitioned last time?

*He took her hand in his, bringing her closer.*

"Well...shall we?"

OOC: This also sucks. We can figure something else out later.

Having him so close to her made her breaths catch as her heart fluttered in her chest and her cheeks flooded with pink. Lowering her eyes from his own, she so wanted to be in his arms again as they had on Coruscant. The want was strong now as she found it hard to concentrate with him so close. Yet, the amount of time she had before she had to go on a smuggling run for the queen was short. Simply nodding her head, she rose her eyes to meet his again looking into their depths and seeing the passion he held for her as well.
