Sword of Wren​

The Sword of Wren is an ancient beskad belonging to Clan Wren, dating as far back as the Mandalorian crusades.


Description

The Sword of Wren is the ancestral weapon of Clan Wren, forged of pure beskar, making it an exceedingly rare and valuable weapon. It is thinner and longer than a standard beskad, with an ornate golden hilt and scabbard reminiscent of the color found on most Clan Wren armor. Legend claims the sword was forged by their founder during the wars between Mandalore and the Jedi, and that it was created with the sole purpose of resisting their lightsabers.

Whatever its origin, the sword was held by Clan Wren, acting as a symbol of leadership akin to the Darksaber (though not nearly as influential), until the Galactic Empire led a purge of the Mandalorians and stole their beskar.

What happened to the sword afterwards is unknown. Some rumors claim the Empire took it and melted it down into beskar ingots, same as any other weapon or armor they found. Others claim it survived the war, falling into the hands of wealthy crime lords or Syndicate collectors, where it is held in vaults of other priceless treasures, waiting to be found and reclaimed.

Intent

To create an ancestral sword for Clan Wren, which is to be the object of a series of threads designed to reclaim the sword for my character, @Song Wren.
