[Rylan Vox]

Rylan had been making arrangements and coordinating the ship's systems when he decided to check on the Mandalorian, who had introduced himself as a capable but cautious addition to the crew. It was essential to ensure that everyone on board could work together and trust one another.

As he approached the Mandalorian, who had taken off his helmet to reveal a face shrouded in mystery, Rylan extended a hand in a gesture of camaraderie. "I appreciate you coming forward and offering your assistance, Mandalorian," Rylan began. "Trust is a valuable currency on this ship, and I want to make sure everyone feels they can rely on one another."

He studied the Mandalorian's visage for a moment, then continued. "We've had some developments, and I wanted to touch base with you. We have a situation on our hands, involving a possible Sith presence. Our new crew member, Mr. Mykain, has raised concerns. I wanted to make sure you're aware of this and see if you have any insights or input regarding this matter."

Rylan's eyes were steady and serious as he awaited the Mandalorian's response, eager to gauge his thoughts and intentions.

[Riya Deabla]

While the captain had gone off with the weirdo, and the Mando had taken to tinkering with his weapon, that left Riya alone with Mr. Tremaine. Well, not really as she herself went to her own corner and pulled out a small electronic box. Red, yellow and green wires protruded unnaturally from the device, even more so when the redhead unscrewed the back. While she worked, her tongue would poke out between her lips in concentration.

Riya had barely made any headway with her device when Rylan walked back and and she stowed the small box away before offering him a bright grin and standing. A moment later, her smile faltered. "A Sith? Did it follow him?" She asked. Though Riya was normally positive and caring, she couldn't help but quickly judge the rude man.

"Maybe he brought it here," she murmured to herself, thoughtful. Glancing to the Captain, she frowned. He seemed almost too kind and trusting and though she admired that, it meant her promise to not only protect the ship meant protecting him as well. She'd do it too. She wanted more information first. What if rude man was the Sith? It would be a good way to throw everyone off of his trail. She'd heard some nasty rumors about the force users and had no doubt that he could manipulate them all into getting what he wanted.

"I'll be ever vigilant boss," she said, offering a small salute.

[Cremek "Krayt" Candorus]

Cremek accepted the hand, shaking it with a firm grip, before letting his hand rrop

"well, you've come to the right person, I happen to know a lot about force users." He nodded "sith presence isn't something to worry about, trust me, if there was I would be able to tell, trust me."

He would mess with his right guantlet, tightening it.

"And even if there was, why would they come onto a random captains ship and do any sort of harm? None of you look worth the effort of conquering, I mean, no offence intended, captian, but sith don't just walk in and kill for the hell of it, unless they're asking to die. As they simply can't afford to do so, save for the extremely rare acts of terror. Sith plot, they scheme, if you had something they wanted they would already have sent someone to take it and you would be none the wiser, or you'd be dead."

He sighs, he had absolutely no intention of harming this crew.

"And you should really do some background checks on "Mykain" I don't think a Republic troop would behave in such a manner, as I've worked with some when I was younger with my mother, oh names cremek candorus by the way."

[Rylan Vox]

Rylan listened attentively to Cremek's assessment of the situation. The Mandalorian's pragmatic perspective brought a sense of reassurance. The mention of background checks triggered a mental note for the captain, reminding him of the need to thoroughly vet his new crew members.

"Your insights are appreciated, Cremek Candorus," Rylan replied with a nod of gratitude. "I believe in cautious optimism as well. You've had your share of experiences. And no offense taken; I value your honesty."

Rylan shifted his gaze toward Riya and the mention of the Sith again. While he had no reason to doubt Cremek's words, the unexpected nature of the situation had him on alert. "You're both right; jumping to conclusions isn't wise. It's just that in these uncertain times, one can't be too careful. But let's give Mr. Mykain the benefit of the doubt for now."

He looked at Cremek with a slightly raised brow. "Background checks will be in order, indeed. In the meantime, we have to focus on the job ahead. We're picking up some cargo from Corellia, and I'll need you both to lend a hand. Once we're done with that, we'll decide on our next action."

With that settled, Rylan turned to Riya. "You mentioned you can handle computers and slicing. I'll need you to run a diagnostic on our ship's systems, and make sure everything is in good shape for our departure. Cremek, if you could assist her, that would be appreciated."

As the crew members began to collaborate on their tasks, Rylan couldn't help but feel a sense of camaraderie and potential among the diverse group that had found their way onto his ship. The journey ahead was uncertain, but he was determined to make the best of it.

[Trodai Narat-iv-Adas]

Trodai listened carefully,it was a troubling development indeead. Had he been compromised already? And how? He would soon find out. Regardless for now he continued as he was giving no indication he was other than he said he was and holding up the illusion. In fact he figured with the way the man had acted he could use against him, and ferment doubt in him.

First he would need to manipulate the others into thinking that the one who raised the concern was in fact the Sith and deflect attention away from himself. He spoke out, looking concerned and acting the part. He girl would no doubt be the easiest to manipulate. She was young and apparently naive enough to fall for it. At least until he was ready to reveal himself.

She already doubted which was a good start, he just needed to convince her further. So far he was beginning to like her. She certainly wasn't afraid of much despite her initial fear. For an outsider she was certainly a curious thing, it was intriguing beyond what he already knew about her by her actions and the Force.

"I agree it is a concern, the way that man acted makes me wonder. And I too know a bit about Force-Users, I am a mercenary so naturally now and again I have come into contact with some with those abilities. Perhaps he is this Sith spoken of, what better way to deflect attention. The Sith as far as I am aware favour such misdirection, they make you doubt yourself and play people against each other. Force everybody to point fingers and question everyone and everything. To lessen the doubt in myself I am perfectly happy with a background check."

Of course it was fabricated but under scrutiny it would not fail and was the best cover money could buy. It would require a very deep search to find out who he really was. Regardless of the suspicion though he had no ill will or intention to harm the crew or captain. Although the same could not be said for the rude man he heard him be called. He would need to keep watch upon him less he compromise his position. If he proved to be troublesome he would be dealt with accordingly.

"I will give him the benefit of the doubt, but I still do not trust that man. His already acted suspicious enough for my tastes. If I may ask where might I assist? I can do heavy lifting although I am more a fighter and also can pilot or do other tasks as desired. My work requires it on occasion."

[Cremek "Krayt" Candorus]

Almost out of nowhere Cremek began to feel it, the first shifting of the animal wanting to break free, the monster, it seemed it was his time of the month, but to transform here would not be a good idea. Cremek now stood, wincing slightly. He would put his hand to the side of his helmet like he was coms.

"what.. WHAT.. fine.. I'm coming..then we're done."

He turned to face the captian.

"I unfortunately apologize, I just got a transmission from some clan members, it's urgent.. like I need to go right now. so I won't be able to go with you.. though I promise I will meet you there as soon as I can and travel with you from then on out.."

He would quickly slide over a holo containing his contact info, so he could find them again, and sprinted out as fast as he could.

[Rylan Vox]

Rylan nodded in understanding as Cremek explained his need to leave temporarily. Life in the outer reaches of the galaxy was unpredictable, and the captain respected the Mandalorian's commitment to his clan. He accepted the holocommunication data graciously, knowing that they might cross paths again.

"Understood, Cremek. Take care of your business, and we'll be ready to welcome you back when you return," Rylan replied with a warm tone.

As Cremek left in haste, Rylan turned his attention to the remaining crew members, Riya, Trodai, and Theodore. "Well, it seems we're already navigating through a few unexpected twists," he remarked with a faint smile. "Riya, please go ahead and run that diagnostic on the ship's systems. Theodore, we'll need your assistance with preparing for the cargo pickup once you've settled in."

With a mix of hope, curiosity, and caution, the crew of the ship forged ahead, each with their own motives and backgrounds. As the minutes passed, Rylan couldn't shake the feeling that their journey would be far more eventful than he had initially anticipated.

 

[Riya Deabla]

Riya nodded slowly as Mr. Tremaine only make her more confident in her doubts. Theodor was rude, odd and seemed to be above everyone else. She'd never encountered a sith that she was aware of, but he fit the description of all that sentients had told her about. Especially with the arrogance. She was lucky she escaped with her life by pointing her feeble knife at him. Running a hand through her messy ponytail, she turned back to Tremaine before looking at Rylan and Cremek.

Riya liked Cremek, though he had stuck to the shadows at first. She was sad the Mandalorian had to go and it though it likely showed on her face, but the woman pushed ahead anyway. She gave Cremek a bright smile, as well as a warm pat on the shoulder as he left.

"Aye aye, Captain," she nodded before walking off, pulling a contraption on her wrist. It was obvious the device was homemade, larger than any standard wrist computer that most people had. It dwarfed her arm but she carried it with relative ease as she made her way to the front of the ship. Standing in the cockpit, she pulled a long cord from the computer before plugging it in and sitting down with her back against the ship's controls.

"Hyperdrive working at optimal capacity, good." She spoke to herself but anyone would be able to hear her if they were nearby. "Fuel good. Engines running at maximum capacity. Filtration system optimal. We seem to be running at full capacity captain. The ship is ready."

[Concordian chronicles]

it came first to Trodai.. like a stench in the wind.. rage, hunger, And it was coming fast,

SUDDENLY!!

a roar sounded from outside the ship, beastal and enraged, as something with extreme strength slammed into the ship, rocking it, screams could be heard in the distance as panicked forced tried to coordinate the sudden attack of the beast but there was little they could do, a civilian woman tried to flee into captain vox's ship only to be impaled by a elongated claw like hand, and dragged back out screaming, her screams were eventually muffled and grew silent as a blood pool could be seen dripping onto the entrance ramp..

..The beast was on top of the ship..

[Reach Valarian]

Reach was on his way to the cockpit as the ship began to wiggle, like something just sat down ontop of the ship.

"What was that?!" He says in a confused tone, facing the other crew members.
"Seems like somthing is ontop your ship, captain. Let me go out and check whats going on..."

As Reach made his way to the back of the ship, just before he was able to leave, a woman came running towards the ship. She was screaming, her face looking like she's running for her live. As she reached the ramp, all of the sudden a big claw came down and grabed her, only leaving her fearful cry behind.

Reach made a big jump backwards into the ship.
"WHAT WAS THAT?!!" He screams.

"Everyone close the ramp! We need to leave this place now!"

He runs back to the cockpit, facing the captain: "This ship is armed, right?" looking concerned and hopeful for this ship to have weapons.

 

[Trodai Narat-iv-Adas]

Trodai stood confused for a moment as the Mandalorian suddenly had urgent business and disappeared from sight. Before he could begin to take his place and assist Riya he heard a giant thud upon the roof of the ship. More than that he felt it. The Force allowing him to seem to feel it's need.

It's Rage, it's Hunger and it's Wrath for all life. Seeking to rip them to shreds.

He found it suspicious somewhat that moments after the Mandalorian had taken off this beast appeared, but now was not the right time to discuss it. Agreeing with the agent, at least for now. A temporary truce, he stayed at the back to make sure the ramp closed properly and the beast did not get inside. He knew he had no choice.

He would need to reveal his gift and fact he could use the Force, and explain later. Or at least manipulate events enough so as they knew he was with the Force but just not what he was. They still would not know he was Sith.

It was then a large crate fell from the shaking of the ship, as the creature stood on top of it. Trodai saw how it was about to crush Riya and so acted almost on instinct. As the ramp continued to close, he thrust out his hand and focused upon her. In the Force he pulled at the threads that connected them and used the Force to Pull her away from the danger.

Likely she would be shocked at the situation, but he didn't have time to explain it.

With success he pulled her to safety and after she flew towards him, both collided. No harm was done to either as he helped her up and the heavy crate smashed to the ground where she would have been. Avoiding a sticky mess.

He spoke, but still stayed alert.

"Are you ok!? Sorry about that, I know I have alot to explain, I will do so after all this. To all of you. For now just know yes I am able to use the Force and am trained in its use. It's one of my tricks I mentioned. However I am no Sith, I can assure you! Let's see what can be done about the beast."

He said as the stranger who referred to himself as Theodore Mykain, stood there asking what the beast was.

"I have no idea! I've never seen such a thing before. I agree let's depart, I may have an idea how to get rid of it!"

With that he headed to the cockpit.

" Take us to orbit and into the space beyond Captain! I have no time to explain but I got an idea! I don't know what that thing is but if it breathes like I think it does....see how it likes it without no air. Either it will fall off mid flight or die from suffocation as it freezes! That and we may be able to blast it as it falls. At least that's the theory Captain but we have no time to test it, we get one shot at it."

He waited to see how the crew responsed to the unusual suggestion. If they could think of a better idea, he was all ears.

[Reach Valarian]

Reach still doesn't trust Mr. Trodai, but his idea seems like it could work.

He simply nods towards Mr. Trodai saying: "Well, better than just standing around. Captain, I think we should give it a try!"

Although Reach agrees to Mr. Trodai's idea, he wonders where all his knowledge came from. He's defenitly hiding something...

 

[Rylan Vox]

As chaos erupted both inside and outside the ship, Rylan Vox found himself relying on the suggestions of his crew, including the mysterious newcomer, Theodore Mykain, who seemed to possess knowledge beyond their expectations. The urgency of the situation left little room for skepticism, and Rylan trusted that their collective decisions were in the best interest of the ship and its crew.

"Agreed," Rylan responded quickly, steering the ship's controls to initiate liftoff. The loud hum of the ship's engines roared to life as it began its ascent from the ground. He angled the ship upward, heading toward the atmosphere of the planet.

As the ship gained altitude, the unexpected passenger atop their vessel would soon be met with the harsh conditions of space. Whether it could withstand the lack of air and the frigid temperatures remained uncertain. Rylan maintained a firm grip on the controls, ready to execute the plan as soon as the moment allowed.

"We're making our way to space," he announced, his voice calm but filled with determination. "Let's hope this works."

With the crew in agreement, the ship continued its ascent, carrying with it both the hope of their survival and the mystery of the creature that had threatened their lives.

[Concordian chronicles]

The beast felt the rumble of the ship beginning to take off as it roared, it made the awesome conclusion , using its massive singular brain cell to perform the greatest math equation known to sentinants everywhere.. Fire+rumble+things getting smaller=no good! after all, it wanted carnage, and food, it was pretty hangry.

It leapt off as it took off, landing down and spying more prey and charging forth on a rampage of slaughter, completely forgetting about the ship! By this point, the beast had slaughtered every one at the port, including security, with no call for backup.

it roared with rage as its source of food was now depleted!

[Riya Deabla]

The chaos from outside drew Riya from her relatively safe position within the cockpit to investigate. All instincts told her to hide and remain quiet, especially as the woman was impaled and dragged away. She didn't utter a scream herself, she merely ran. She ran to the cargo hold where hopefully she could find something to help break the creature's hold on the top the ship. Tremaine and Theodor seemed content to figure out what to do, but she already knew what to do.

Within most ships, there was a fail-safe that could be overridden to cause the shields to engage. If she could bypass the power headed to the thrusters, she could electrify the shields and essentially taser the beast. As she slid to a stop in the cargo hold however, she quickly realized that the boxes were in her way.

"Kriff," she muttered as the ship began to shake. It was enough to cause her to lose her balance and send her to her knees. Riya was unaware of the rocking cargo atop the pile until she felt something wrap around her like strings and yank. She yelped, a sound that turned into a scream as she thought the beast had gotten her and when she collided with something larger, though soft enough to cushion her fall, she started trying to punch and scramble away.

It was Tremaine's words that slowly rocked her out of her fear and allowed her to process what had happened. By the time she completely caught up, she was able to give him a short nod to show she was okay before he moved towards the cockpit. The ship jettisoning towards the atmosphere brought her to her knees again, but this time she didn't take the time to stand as her adrenaline began to level out.

Trodai stood, a slight smirk under the mask. His idea had worked x much to his own surprise and the beast leapt off ..intent upon it's own survival. But there was a steep cost to what they had done, as the people below suffered. He could feel their pain, their anguish. Their last moments as life was taken away.

It was a strange feeling but in it's own way enticing. To feel it all.

As the threat subsidised he decided it was probably better to address the large elephant in the room. Himself. He turned to the captain.

"I didn't expect that to work quite as well as it did, but am glad we did make it. Although the same cannot be said for those below, a cost we must now bare. I have never seen anything like that before, not in all my years...It puzzles me. When everyone has a moment perhaps I should explain a bit more about myself. If only to alleviate certain suspicions from our acquaintance over here and explain how it is I might know what I know. Is there a room where we might all convene? Somewhere a bit more comfortable, now the threat is past."

As the ship ascended into space, leaving the chaos below, Rylan Vox couldn't help but feel a sense of relief. The unanticipated creature had caused terror and destruction, and he was grateful that their escape plan had worked. However, he also couldn't shake the feeling of responsibility for those who had suffered on the planet's surface.

Rylan turned his attention to Tremaine, who had been at the center of the recent developments. The man's knowledge and actions had been crucial in their survival, but there were still many unanswered questions about him.

"Once we're in a stable orbit, we can convene in the ship's common area," Rylan replied, his voice carrying a sense of solemnity. "We need to discuss what just happened, your role in all of this, and the next steps. I think it's time for some clarity."

With that, Rylan focused on ensuring the ship safely entered orbit, all the while pondering the mysteries and dangers that had suddenly become part of their journey.

[Riya Deabla]

Even though Riya hadn't been hurt when Tremaine dragged her through the air and he had even helped her up, she had once again found herself on her knees on the floor of the ship panting in relief. The creature, Theodor, Tremaine, Cremek and Rylan. All of those she didn't know who they were and yet they had mostly worked together flawlessly. (With the exception of Cremek who she hoped was safe or could at least take care of the beast for them now.)

"What was that?" Riya finally said, glancing up at Tremaine. "You said you aren't sith but you literally yanked me through the air by some magical force? I suppose next you're gonna say that you didn't use the force and that you are a magician. It was all smoke and mirrors?" By the end of her short tirade, her voice had raised several octaves and she was pointing a finger at the masked man. Yea, dealing with that was easier than that creature and the fact that without said 'sithy' or whatever he was, she'd be dead right now.

"I'm not buying it. Rylan can be calm, but I want an explanation, now."

 

[Rylan Vox]

As Riya voiced her confusion and demanded an explanation from Tremaine regarding the mysterious use of what appeared to be the Force, Rylan Vox couldn’t help but sympathize with her. They had just encountered a creature of unknown origin, their ship had been under attack, and Tremaine’s display of power had left many questions unanswered.

Tremaine had already hinted at his knowledge of the Force earlier, and Rylan had his suspicions, but it was time for clarity. Rylan intervened, adopting a calm yet assertive tone as he addressed Tremaine.

“Riya has a point,” he began. “We’ve all just been through a harrowing experience, and your abilities are… unconventional, to say the least. It’s time for some honesty. Are you a Force user, and if so, what’s your connection to the Sith, or whatever that creature was?”

Rylan’s gaze remained fixed on Tremaine, awaiting a response that would shed light on the enigmatic man’s true nature. However, he also couldn’t help but wonder about the timing of a newcomer in the midst of this chaos, considering their ship had just escaped a perilous situation.

It had been quite a while now, and not a single word from cremek, who could only be assumed dead at this point, when his holo began to ring and vibrate, either someone found Cremeks holo, or cremek was alive, but which were both good news.

unless the creature learned how to use holos, which also was a good possibility!
