Star Base on Hoth was the ideal place to hold and interrogate a prisoner. The ice world was so far off the galactic beaten path that it was literally impossible to stumble upon, which is why pirates and smugglers favored it so. Greybok had chosen to store his Drast prisoner here where she could be interrogated, and her fate decided, by Hugo Ion, the Commander of the Galactic Alliance. The Wookiee had stashed the Drast woman in a force cage: a cell that was mostly composed of a strong electrical field that could cause mild electrical burns to the one who touched it.

The cage could also serve as a torture device, routing excruciatingly painful shocks through the victim's body. At the most extreme setting, the shock was fatal, serving as an execution device. But, most importantly, force cages were excellent for containing Force-users. Only the strongest of Force-users could project the Force through the energy barrier and, even then, they had a difficult time. But, just to be safe, Greybok had the woman's hands bound behind her—one more way of preventing her from manipulating the Force effectively.

When the interrogation chamber was finished being set up, Twobee clambered into the room to act as the Wookiee's translator and the two of them paged for Commander Ion, who had personally flown to Star Base to conduct the interrogation. While he did, Greybok would stand near the cage's controls. If the woman gave any indication that she intended to harm them or attempt to escape, he would use the cage's capabilities to kill her instantly. Otherwise, he would simply use them to shock her when the Commander ordered it, presumably whenever she refused to give an answer he desired (or gave one that he didn't like).

When Hugo Ion firstlearned about the Mandalorians bagging a Sith prisoner who happened to be a member of the house of Drast he was a bit surprised. More so the armored warriors willingly offered to turn over custody of the captive to the Alliance. Not one to look a gift fathier in the mouth especially from new allies the commander had accepted. That is why he flew to Star Base on Hoth to handle the interrogation personally.

The Durosian had given specific instructions that the Sith woman was to be treated with some level of dignity as a prisoner of war that won’t compromise security. Of course given her allegiance, blood ties and profession Hugo knew it would be hard for many rebels to stomach. Yet he was firm on the matter that the order be carried out.

Of course it was already revealed she was a minor royal in the Thul branch but still Alexandra could actually be of use. This thought filled Ion’s mind while he walked alone through a snow covered hallway. Part of it is curiosity too. He silently admitted to himself confidently take each step closer to the destination. Of course another purpose of this interview was to get a firsthand impression of the new alliance council member Greybok.

The wookieee had been making a name for himself with the Star Squadron’s exploits. Also, Leah had been telling him about this fierce and loyal rebel herself. As a leader of this rebellion Hugo saw it as his duty to learn more about those he will work with in the council. Minutes later in a blue insulated jacket along with tan pants and boots Commander Ion apporched the entrance. Pressing on the control button on the right hand side, the door slide opened.

Revealing before him was Greybok at the ready with the equally (in)famous droid Twobee at the side. The leading rebel gave a nod of gratitude for the Wookiee’s precautions as he entered inside the door from behind closed. Subsequently he directed his red eyes toward the prisoner inside the force cage. Ion displayed nothing but a neutral expression but inwardly thought.

A young one indeed.

Alexandra would find herself staring before a Duros with a quiet yet confident air. Also any attempt at trying to sense his secrets would not give the captive much to go on. Having lived along with Jedi for sometime Hugo had learned from them to hide vital information from force users in displined matter. This involved a layer of random thoughts like models of speeders and types of Corellian fauna and many more unrelated themes. Sure if a force user had more time and fully powered, such defenses could break but Alexandra would not be in any position to do so.

”You’re a long way from home Alexandra of House Thul.” Commander Ion finally commented nonchalantly as if speaking about the weather.

Alexandra Thul-Drast had always experienced some form of captivity growing up as a young lady in per position was seldom left alone to her own devices, it was only through military service did she ever seem to get away from it all or on the occasional escapade that she might indulge upon. Being semi-permanently chained up was something new and uncomfortable as was the force cage that enclosed her to a small spot in the room and limited her ability to really do anything except watch the big scary Wookiee from earlier and wait.

Finally breaking the silence of the room, Alex watched a much taller Duros enter the room and immediately look over and nod in the direction of Greybok in a similar vibe to that of a superior acknowledging another officer. Whomever this alien was, he might just be the key she needed. Being locked behind the walls of the cage severely limited her ability to reach out with the force and attempt anything, let alone trying to actually breach the wall itself which would only end poorly on her part.

She stood still watching and holding a slight defiant expression although the past few days had seen her own struggles slowly batter away at the very convictions that she had been holding dear, it would take a heroic effort on her part to come out of this fully intact. At last, the Duros began to speak albeit briefly causing Alex to turn momentarily toward Greybok with concern after their previous encounter before returning to answer the statement made.

"Yes, but not by my choice," she said with a slight bitterness attached to the quick reply as she recalled her initial capture. "You have me at a disadvantage it seems, for I do not know who you are. I can only hope that you will be more hospitable than the beasts who call themselves men, who have handed me over to your organization."

Alexandra hoped that it wouldn't be a short conversation.
