Musari readied himself for the second of the initiates for his order. It was growing at about the rate that he expected it to, but he hoped that it would have an exponential increase soon. After all, he would need much greater numbers if he was going to make an impact on the galaxy while keeping all of his members safe.

Musari actually knew fairly little about this iniate. He knew that his name was Kellen, and that he was a Kiffar. He supposed that all of the other important things would come through in his training. As with all of his recruits, he had great hopes for this initiate. He hoped to guide him to his full potential, so that he could not only be the most useful that he could possibly be to the order, but so that he could help himself out as well.

The old training droid sat against one of the walls still, and the rack of training sabers was still at the ready. He seriously needed to think about adding a library to this place though, so that maybe the initiates could study up a bit on the order before their training.

Kellen walked into the training room nearly vibrating with excitement. He had been accepted, at least to initiate level, into the Crimson Knights. Now he was going to meet the Crimson King himself. Those long years as a civilian may have had their luster, but now he was actually going to participate in the universe. He was going to be able to make more of a difference than volunteering on the weekends. He was going to bepart of something larger than himself. He was also was quite nervous about receiving training from the king himself. Kellen had only ever studied defensive hand to hand combat, and had never held a vibro blade longer than a foot, let alone a lightsaber. He desperately hoped not to make a fool of himself.

He approached the King, doing his best to quell his excitement and anxiousness. Not totally sure as to how to proceed, he fell on Kiffar tradition and made a low, formal bow. Speaking in a clear voice, he said, "Initiate Kellen, here at your command my liege."

Kellen hoped this was appropriate.

Musari smiled, and bowed back to Kellen. "Kellan, no need for you to be so formal. I prefer if everyone here can feel like as close to an equal as possible. I only take the title of king out of necessity" He motioned for the initiate to take a seat on the floor in front of him.

"It is nice to meet you, and I hope that you will find me a helpful guide on your journey to becoming a myrmidon. Before we start, there are some robes for you in there."

He pointed to a small wash area off to the side of the room. You couldn't tell it because of the door being shut now, but the room contained the Kiffar's first set of training robes for the order. They, as were initiate Argon's, blood red robes with a black trim. They were quite similar to Musari's own robes, except that they had very little worth as armour.

"Thank you...Musari."
Kellen couldn't help but smile slightly. Any all his past superiors liked to flaunt their titles like trophies. It was quite nice to finally meet a someone in power who was not so arrogant.

Kellen walked over to the adjacent room, only now seeing the training weapons and droid. He saw a few spots on the droid that he could fix up, but hewould not mention that right now. Now he mearly was going to follow Musari's lead.

As he started putting on his new robes, he was careful to make sure his patchwork armor did not catch the sleeves or hem. He wasn't sure if he would need it, since this was merely training. However, his armor was probably more suited as training armor anyway, if you though about the fact that the Crimson Knights probably had armor of much higher quality than his own..., that actually take damage instead of just adding another layer of hard clothing.
He left the rest of his gear in the adjacent room and walked back out.

Musari laughed a little bit to himself when he saw that Kellen had left his armor on and put the robes over it. It might hinder his ability to use the force a little bit later, but they could worry about that then, for now, it wasn't a problem.

"So, can you tell me anything about the tenets of the order?" He figured that he might as well get into the training right away. He would get to know the initiate more over the course of the training. He was sure that Kellen's history, personality, and any other important details would show through over the duration of the training.

"Well..." Kellen thought to himself about what he knew and what he had heard about the Crimson Knights

"What drew me in the first place was that we, the Crimson Knights, help others in need, but are able to go above and beyond the Republics laws to do so if need be.

I may not say this correctly, but the Crimson Knights are lead by you, the Crimson King, and whatever you say goes.
Our goal is to create peace in the galaxy through none violent actions, though if conflict should come about, we shall meet it head on.

If I recall correctly, we do not use the force like the jedi..., that we use the good and the bad "powers" as long as it brings about a favorable end. ...and thats about it."

Musari let Kellan finish speaking before he said anything back to him. The majority of it was correct, there were only a few small problem spots.

"Well, you seem to know most of it, but a few things are a little bit different. You are correct about us trying to go out of our way to aid others in the galaxy. And we will bypass the laws of the republic if we feel it necessary. Who knows, someday, hopefully it will be our own laws that govern this galaxy."

He smiled at the thought of the Crimson Knights someday being the protectors of the galaxy. He hoped that one day. the goal would be achieved, and he hoped that he was still alive for it when it did happen.

"I am considered the king of this order, you are correct, and that is for two reasons. One, is because of the prophecy of which this whole order is based off of. The second, is for the safety of the knights. Hopefully, if someone bears a grudge against the order, they will take it against me directly. We do try to avoid conflict through our speech, but we will be ready to face any foe if it comes down to it."

He already knew that he was mostly repeating what Kellen had said, but that was just to be sure that everything was completely explained. A force user who acted with no boundaries was quite a danger for the galaxy.

"Now, for the part that you had a little bit off. We do indeed restrict ourselves from using certain powers of the force. Any that would cause direct harm to a living thing. How we draw upon on powers though, is what we use both the light and dark side of the force for. Now, do you have any questions? Or has everything been explained thoroughly?"

"Except for the prophecy, which I had never heard of until now, Yes. Thank you for the explanation. You most likely know this already, but I am not versed in the force at all. "Drawing on it"more than just the itch on my shoulder when something bad is about to happen, is going to take a little time for me."

Kellen appreciated that the head of the Order would take time to explainall of this to him. He was curious as to what this "prophecy" was.

"The prophecy, is one of the reasons that I created this order in the first place. It basically states that we will one day be the ones to save the galaxy from a currently unknown threat. Meeting one of the conditions of the force that defends the galaxy, is having a king. I know that it seems foolish to base an entire order off of a prophecy, but I also view it as a way for us to aid the galaxy. It will not be a problem that you are not versed in the force yet, for that is why you are here."

He thought for a second about what the best way for him to proceed with this training would be, then decided.

"Well then, I suppose that the first thing we should work on then are some of the basics of the force... can you close your eyes for a second for me?" It was a simple task of the initiate, but such an important step as well.

"Not foolish at all in my opinion."

Tanson wanted to ask who had given the prophecy, but he did not want to overstep his bounds.
He shut his eyes as told, ready to learn of the force.

Musari had only done this once before, so he would have to concentrate as well to make it work.

"Alright, try to feel the world around you, let your mind spread out. Try to feel the soldiers in the room above us. Try to feel for any life that you can."

"No problem."
Kellen closed his eyes and tried to open his mind. He had heard once that the force acted like a sixth sense, so perhaps it would come to him as normally as the other five.
He tried to use his mind's eye to look up, through the ceiling. He did feel something, though he was not sure what that something was.

"Well, I do get a feeling that..., how do I describe it, like I have a tool, but do not yet know how to work the settings. Its telling me something, but I have no idea how to read it. I do sense something above us though."

"Good, good. Try to think of the force as a wave that extends from you. Just let it flow away and work for you. Let it extend, radiate away from you. Let it act as your feeling and your sight, Now tell me, do you see anything else?"

If Kellen could do this, then it was a very good sign indeed, it would mean that not only could he sense hings through the force, but he also had the ability to see through the force. White could easily be developed into a very useful tool.

"A wave huh, OK."
Kellen though for a moment how to go about this, and remembered once when he repaired a sonar unit on a ship that could function under water. He remembered the sound waves it put out to map its surroundings.

Kellen envisioned himself like that ship, putting out waves of sound to *see* what was around him. Then he included the feeling he got from looking through his minds eye.

Suddenly Kellen felt something spark in his head, a "flipping of a switch" so to speak, suddenly everything he was feeling through his mind's eye came in to a much clearer focus.

"WOW! Just..., wow, I can...well, see things now in my head. THIS IS FANTASTIC!"

Kellen remembered that he was here for a reason however, and calmed doen, intent on seeing any life force he could.
"Well, you are practically clear as day, then there are maybe ten or twelve soldiers above us..., I can see them very distinctively when they move, then its more of an after image when they are still."

Musari smiled broadly at the response that he had received from Kellen. He not only could see through the force, but now also seemed to be awakened into the force.

"It is wonderful that you have managed to do this. Awakening yourself into the force was one of the biggest and most important steps in your journey. I can guarantee you that your life will be different from now on. Seeing through the force will be quite an aid to you, as soon I will help you to learn how to use that to decipher the motives of another being."

He glanced at the smallest of the metal spheres that was on the ground. It was very light, and would be a great starting place for the telekinesis aspect of the force. He focused briefly on the metal orb and it flew to his open hand.

"Now, while in a normal way of thought, this may seem completely different to you, but I promise you that it is much closer than you would think. Use that feeling that you just had, that wave, and try to wrap it around the orb. If you can do that, then try to lift it out of my hands. My only warning is, dont look for the orb to have life in itself, use the force, almost as an extension of your self for this."

He understood that there was a good chance that this could take more than one try to achieve this. But he was hoping that maybe he could train Kellen almost by using the momentum.

In response to the praise he received "Thank you, this is such an amazing feeling!"
When Musari picked up the metal ball with the force, Kellen's jaw dropped and his eyes nearly fell out. He did not believe what he was seeing.

"Um, wow, OK, let’s try this thing." Kellen said after taking a deep breath.
As he began to concentrate, he repeated softly to himself, "different in the normal way of thought, closer than obvious."

As Kellen closed his eyes, he began to call up his, what he now called, force sight.

He sent out the waves he had used before, looking for things around him. As before he saw himself, Musari, and the soldiers upstairs. However, he did not see anything else, not even the floor or the ceiling. This was a problem.

He tried concentrating even more, squinting his eyes shut and focusing every thought on trying to see the inanimate objects around him.

Unfortunately, nothing happened for him. He remained in this hyper tense, focused state for another minute, making no head way. Then, he relaxed, knowing that he was probably going about this in the wrong way.

Tanson sat down to think. He knew he could see living beings, and perhaps that extended to organics life in general. However, he did not see any part of the building, and none of Musari's equipment.

He pondered how to go about this problem. He came to the conclusion that, if his current force sight saw organic life, perhaps there was another form he had not yet found that could see in-organics. Perhaps what he was using was like a motion tracking system, but for organic life, and the other form of sight was like passive sonar.

He resolved to try this again. Instead of multiple waves of force, Tanson tried to only send out one wave, but more dense and powerful.

Suddenly, everything around him that was inorganic came into sharp focus. When the powerful wave hit, then images resolved in his force site.

However, now he could not see Musari, and instead, there was a metal ball floating in the air in front of him. Tanson knew that he was merely using one force sight at a time. Unfortunately, he could feel himself becoming mentally tired as time went on; he knew that he needed to prioritize on this time with Musari, so he decided to put all his effort into this.

Tanson called up both sights at once, expecting to face resistance and difficulty to maintain both sights at once, but amazingly, they overlapped one another, and seemed to mesh together like they were meant too.

Tanson stood up, and finally focused on the small metal ball. He felt its weight, mass, volume all come together; he felt its place in the universe.

He focused on placing a wave of force around the metal ball. He envisioned the ball flying, floating free, overcoming the force of gravity on the small ball. He knew he could do it, and so he pushed with all the mental might he could muster on the bottom of the ball.

Musari smiled as the small metal ball floated slowly out of his hand. He was extremely proud of how quickly his initiate was progressing. He hoped that all of his other initiates would fare this well under him as well. Though this wasnt really Musari's accomplishment, it was Kellen's.

"Very good job Kellen, it is time to take a break from that for now though. We will continue this sometime in the near future."

"Phew, Yes Sir!"

Kellen whipped the sweat off his forehead. He did not realize how much effort using the force would take, AND he had just briefly levitated something. If was possible, he had even more respect for the Crimson Guard Force users.

"Alright then, go rest in the Right hands quarters for now. You should practice your abilities with levitation if you find that you are able to. It tends to become much easier with use. But other than that, eat something, and try to get a good nights rest. We will continue tomorrow. Meet me here at this time again."

Musari was glad that the training was going so well already, and was looking forward to another day, which he hoped would be as successful as today was. He had a few things that he needed to work on however, so resting would be for his initiate only.

"Thank you for the lesson." Kellen made a small bow and left the training room, intent on getting food and mulling over all the abilities he hd just realized he had in his bunk.
