Lilin was a Jedi Crusader, and as such she had only ever had the time and energy for one true passion above all others. Facing the servants of darkness, driving them before her, and bringing peace to those who sought nothing else in the universe. She had her own whole, complex moral view about it in honesty. What with it being about how since the Force was in all things and the Force granted capacity for evil or good that all things were inherently - she could have written a damn book about it all. But suffice to say, she was equal parts conflicted and glad when one of the Sith attackers fled the field of battle. Of course then he was shortly replaced.

He was wild-eyed and looked like he was hefting more firepower than some small militias. He had a scattergun in his hands and clearly had an intent to use it. Lilin looked to her fellow Jedi who had busied themselves with the other two Sith before looking back to him. For a moment she thought about emulating the more merciful ways of Knight Sythani and extending an offer of peaceful surrender. That offer died before it even came to her lips when she looked him in the eyes. He may not have worn robes like his kin or been waving about a red-bladed saber as he strode into the room, but he looked simply mad.

Lilin stepped moved to put herself between the four others fighting and the newcomer, "I'd offer surrender, Sith. But you don't seem like the type."

She immediately sent out a push through the Force meant to throw off the aim of that scattergun of his and take him off his feet.

Burned...?

His eyes were locked with Hausser's and, burnt as it may be, Vit'al could see the man's soul as he spoke. Bitter? Yes. Angry? Of course. Vindictive? That was certian. But lying? This question lingered. It was only the Jedi's disbelief that kept the obvious at bay: The Sith was free of decietful intent.

As Hausser's temperature rose and passion flared, the horrific realization had to be postponed. Vit'al felt the the force collecting in his advarsaries left arm. It seemed clumsy somehow, as if the arm was not truly connected to his body, but that didn't hinder the considerable fury this Sith was able to muster. The two were still close, a ballestra away at best, and now a troubling question weighed on Vit'als mind. He would not give his ground.

Vit'al closed his gaurd. With a flick of the wrist, two left fingers drew a quick vertical line through the air infront of him, traced from the floor up. Just as Hausser let loose his feirsome barage, his palm turned out and pressed forward. The force flowed from Vit'al like a cool river, a stunning contrast between the two men, and rose in a tall invisible wedge that split the rolling tide of flame off to the sides, and away from the Jedi. Not for nothing however; he could feel the heat of Hausser's rage as the dark fire licked around the edges of the barrier, and was forced a step backward. The cold stone floor was no small thing to be thankful for, as it kept the ground from catching. At least the deadly blaze wouldn't stick.

There was a second, where all that could be done was to ride out the burst of flame from behind his force fashioned shield. Brief as this moment was, that question resurfaced, burning hotter than any sorcery: What had Bau done?

As he sensed the firey torrent ease, Vit'al lashed out. It was two swift movements that seemed deceptively like one longer one. First he passed forward on his left, the respective hand driving the motion and using the barrier like a battering ram, firing it into Hausser, who had unfortunately kept his back against the wall. Hopefully, this would stun and pin the sith in place so the follow-through would land. Weight shifting easily to his lead foot, he passed forward again, this time on the right. Vit'al let the combined momentum do the work of propelling his right arm into an elegant thrust. The crackling yellow blade of his outstretched saber drove straight for the upper left arm of his opponent. Not enough distance was cleared for a full impale, but if sucessful a good few centimeters of plasma would drill a tidy little hole in the top of his target's bicep. That extra reach had been a deliberate sacrifice to ensure his footing, in case Hausser had another trick up his sleeve. Besides, the modest wound would serve. Vit'al was not interested in a kill, he wanted an answer.

Say that again. What do you accuse Lord Bau of?

His voice was nearly a snarl, but it earnest. Again he locked his black eyes squarely with the Sith's. This was no threat, he was asking. There had been eccesive secrecy around Hausser's imprisonment, and Vit'al was not ignorant to the effect this conflict was having on the commander of his order...

Hausser scowled as he felt his fire strike a barrier and watched it pass harmlessly to the sides of the Jedi. He immediately cut off the stream to conserve energy, fighting the urge to recklessly continue spilling flames without abandon. He was just raising his lightsaber hand, the built up energy writhing inside, when the Jedi's barrier shot forward and smacked Hausser from the front.

Hausser wasn't strong, his endurance was lackluster, he wasn't even particularly skilled in combat. He did had confidence in his reflexes and speed, he'd honed them for over several years on the dangerous world of Florn. These traits served him well once again. The barrier crash from the front was a little too quick, while Hausser attempted to brace it still cracked him hard into the wall and forced him into a defense poor position with both arms being spread diagonally downward at his sides. The sudden shock also caused his concentration to lapse for a brief moment and a good chunk of the power he'd channeled into his right limb dissipated as a consequence.

Hausser regained control almost immediately, and clamped down on the escaping strength in his right hand just in time to see his foe attacking, yellow lightsaber extended in a pukingly elegant thrust from his right hand. Hausser's flatback position against the wall and stinging but cheeks prevented any chance of dodging, the yellow plasma was heading unerringly for his target. However, Hausser still had his own lightsaber, in his right hand which still contained a modest amount of pre-focused power flickering within.

Just as his foe's weapon came into contact with its target, Hausser's left bicep, Hausser jerked his right arm up and flicked his lightsaber into a spinning throw diagonally up at the Jedi. He put the force into the throw, keeping the lightsaber activated and adding extra velocity and spin. It was thrown such that the lightsaber's path would take it diagonally up Vit'al's rib area and through his extended right arm, cleaving as it went. This was a throw with pure forward momentum, Hausser had only had so much energy still built up, and his recent fire attack had left him slightly tired and unable to dredge up additional power for the throw on such short notice. As a result, Hausser had simply added velocity and put pressure on the hilt to facilitate rapid spinning. He didn't have anything left to call the lightsaber back immediately after the throw, it was on one way path at the moment, albeit with increased velocity.

Oooh, you are a perceptive one aren't you? He felt the swelling in the Force and swiveled his laser-shottie, his finger tightening around the trigger as he did. A spray of lasers leapt from the barrel, bearing down on his enemy far to fast to dodge. It would be a nasty strike, though not necessarily lethal. The trade off for almost guaranteeing his own shot hitting was that he'd have no time to clear his opponent's blast.

The blast hit Vash in the chest and knocked him back several feet down the hallway. After the shot, the rifle fell from his hands and came to rest. Owwww, hey, Phoenix, if you could not let us get hit again, that'd be dandy, buddy. Shut up, fool. It was a necessary trade-off. On the bright side, his opponents didn't seem to be closing on him at the moment, which gave Vash a bit of time. He drew one of his swords from its sheath and prepped for close combat, moving back in toward his enemy at an even, but not reckless speed, watching to see what both Jedi would do. Either way, he'd be ready to engage. Come on, girlfriend, I've had... ya know... "nights" rougher than that. I thought this was supposed to be a fight. Come on and hit me.

The hope was that the Jedi would be too wounded to strike back, and if she was, Vash would move in and ram his sword through her upper leg, destroying her mobility before moving on to the others. If something else stopped him, he'd adjust as necessary.

Seeing as how his opponent had not wavered in his attack, and his allies were busy with Clara's teammates, her attack hit its mark. A sickening burst of sparks split the air as her lightsaber cut into the knee of Alpha, disconnecting his leg from the rest of his body.

Her lightsaber immediately went back up, to block any incoming strike from her opponent who was still coming towards her. Regardless of whether or not he would attack or not, her blade would connect with his, and unless he could change his momentum, he would find it hard to disconnect from her blade.

Her free hand grabbed her pistol, shoving it into the face of the Sith who was now legless.

Unless he did something to stop her, she would shoot him point blank range in the head. Knock him out with the butt of the pistol.

Wait, the hell? I wanted to shoot him.

Shut up, I'm a pussy.

Pain shot up from his leg, and the Sith took a quick glance down. He was welcomed by the sight of his leg on the floor, painting the white marble floors into red. The blood was pooling, and rage shot through him faster than pain.

That was a bad idea from the Jedi. Both the decapitation and the swing.

Alpha was prone to outbursts. Angry ones. In said outbursts, he let the Dark side take him over, and they weren't often, but when someone gets their leg sliced off, they get rather angry. The Sith's face redennned with anger, and he growled. He could feel the Force making him two times stronger, turning his body into a shield. That won't be needed, because the Jedi wouldn't be able to attack anyway.

As their blades connected, he forced his lightsaber into hers, pushing both of the rods toward the Jedi's neck. He was way stronger than her, and if she didn't pull back, she would be decapitated. If she did pull back, he would swing his lightsaber horizontally and cleave her neck anyway. If she went to the side, he would spin, lightsaber held out, and behead her.

Her only escape was jumping back far away, giving him space. Using this space he would withdraw from combat by jumping sliding backwards. He could already see a droid out of the corner of his eye. It was broken, just a few limbs, but it was perfect for a new leg.

In duels, if an opponent completely ignores an attack in his/her counter reply, that attack is an automatic hit.

Her opponent, though short a leg and low on overall balance, seemed to begin to go on the offensive, pushing against her lightsaber with rapt anger. With her face opening slightly, the cracks revealing the amalgamation of metal and flesh on the inside of her face.

Though he began to go on the offensive, the Sith had completely ignored her attempt to knock him out, insteading focusing on an unbalanced attack to try and push the woman back. Unluckily for the Sith, the process of overpowering the Jedi and pushing her blade back was slow. Due to this, realizing he would not go down easily, Clara simple aimed the pistol that was already at the Sith’s head, and pulled the trigger.

Not sure what's up with this thread. No one said they had a problem with me posting when I asked yesterday, though, so here I am.
Vash saw the female Jedi go down in a heap as the lasers from the shotgun ripped into flesh and burned through organs. There'd be no coming back from that one. It smells like burned chicken. And that smell when you go to the dentist and they stick that drill thing in your mouth and the smell floats to your nose. You know what I'm talking about. That one that always makes you a little bit worried that they're having a campfire in your mouth. We need to get back in the game. That other Jedi is doing bad things to that other Sith.

He hopped back to his feet, sword in one hand and, while the other Jedi - apparently her name's Clara, Phœnix - Clara, was distracted fighting Alpha. Without hesitation, he pulled the trishot from his left thigh, leveled the sights on the Jedi - who wasn't looking - and pulled the trigger, careful that a missed shot wouldn't hit the other Sith. We don't really feel bad about that either. I mean after all, she's trying to kill Alpha.

Would the trio of shots kill her? Probably not, but at least it would get her to leave Alpha alone and probably hurt like crap. Hey! Metal-mouth! Why don't you pick on me instead. He yelled this after having already shot at her, but, hey, if she was still alive and kicking, it'd get her attention.

Admin ruling:

From what I read, the thread is ending in a Sith victory. There's a lot going on, so I'll recap with the current status of the Jedi and Sith teams. As a side note, some attacks have been left open and is technically past the time to respond. However, as the thread is ended via timeout, I'm not going to auto-kill anyone.

Team Sith:
Vash - Unharmed and in position to engage Clara
Alpha - Seriously injured by Clara, and unconcious
Hausser - Prosthetic arm is damaged, knocked around some, only able to really affect Vit'al at this moment

Team Jedi:
Clara - Just taken out Alpha, unharmed
Vit'al - Likely seriously injured by Hausser (Not going to auto-kill, as I said, but Hausser has the advantage at this point due to a tactically superior attack)
Lilin - Is in bad shape, the auto-hit going by Phoenix's previous post said it would likely not be fatal, and won't be able to contribute much to the fight

You can (civilly) work out amongst yourselves what you want to do with the Jedi PCs.
