So I know we've talked for a while about new tech write-ups for our new ships and whatnot out of Rothana. As such, I've gotten permissions from some artists for some new ships and blah blah blah.

Now here I am posting the tech here so everyone can get a look at them before I post it up for Jiang's approval. The first one is pretty straight-forward and is serving as the successor to the Venator that I know Kev and I talked about waaaaay back. It's not completely done cuz I'm lazy, but I've got a running template so...yeah...

Main hypermatter reactor surrounded by two smaller ring reactors, one super-elevated on top of the other, but are distinctly separate. Two SAPs flank the reactors.

Description:
This reactor-unit is the next step in power-supply engineering. Commander Kylis Risenfel was the original designer, with some input from his brother relating to power transference and requirements. His original design, which is used on the Nebula-VII Star Destroyer, was a main reactor supported by two smaller reactors to boost output. The reasoning for this is simple in theory but a bit complicated from a technical standpoint. Instead of a main reactor with two smaller reactors adjoining, this reactor is a large primary hypermatter reactor with two ring-shaped reactors surrounding it, one larger than the next. During normal operation, the secondary reactors are merely kept at minimum-operational power while the main reactor supplies all power. However, during battle, the main reactor’s direct power conduits are released, and the system is suspended in a repulsor-field as the reactor enters a special operating mode called Magnetic Cycling Rotating Operation, or MaCRO for short.

The two secondary ring-reactors are then powered up to full strength, and begin cycling around the reactor on random vectors, while the central reactor begins to spin at 1,000 rpm. Once at full speed, the reactors open special power-exhaust vents that emit the growing internal energy in the form of an energy field. This field, when combined with the considerable magnetic field generated by the spinning reactors themselves, creates an overall power increase of 200% higher than that of a standard proton-8 reactor while three-quarters (3/4) of the space. Then, special magnetic-power receivers called System-Allocated Power Siphons, or SAPS, draw power from the powerful combined field to power the ship. These SAPS are also in use during the standard operating mode, but the magnetic power they collect from the main reactor is used to power the cooling system. The cooling system itself is special in that instead of large, bulky cooling lines connected to an even larger cooling unit, it uses a laser-induced slurry of ions cooled to nearly absolute-zero that have been drained of energy by the SAPS. The result is that the more power produced, the better the cooling system works. However, the cooling system’s actual use during MaCRO is limited by the field produced, so the system can only run at this level of operation for slightly more than a single standard hour before the risk of overheating becomes perceptible.

Description: Built in the restored shipyards around Rothana, the Delta-class Star Destroyer is the first capital ship line ready for battle. Fully-armed and operational, the Delta is the long-awaited successor to the ancient Venators of the Clone Wars. It is the brain-child of a former Galactic Alliance engineer and a think-tank of Rothani ship-builders.

The Delta is meant to serve as an effective heavy cruiser and escort carrier to the new fleet that has been brewed around Rothana. Its hull is honeycombed for added durability in order to offset the potential vulnerability of having a massive cavernous hangar, and its firepower is unmatched by ships of similar size. Of course, none of that firepower would be possible without the advanced reactor built by a family of former CEC engineers and GA officers. The new age of capital ships is here, and it's in the hands of the Hutt Cartel.

This next one is meant to serve as a new class of bomber/heavy fighter like the old K-Wings. Like the K-Wings, it has a very nasty surprise in the form of the Plasma Torpedoes.

Broken Former Canon Tech astounds me sometimes.

Description: Built in the restored shipyards around Rothana, the Clawcat is the first starfighter with bomber/support capabilities. For starters, it's tough. How tough? Tough enough to be missing an engine and two of its three crew areas and still return to its hangar in one piece. Like the Y-Wings of old, the Clawcat is built to withstand a tremendous beating even after its rather powerful shielding fails. The key to this? Alusteel armor plating and frame. The downside is that it's slower than freighters twice its size. That doesn't mean it's not maneuverable, though. The designers were keen to allow the Clawcat to defend itself against starfighters, so its repulsors are a bit larger than most bombers to allow it to turn on a single credit chit.

Still, like all strike craft, it's real worth comes from its vast array of weaponry. The ship requires three crew-members to operate effectively because of this little fact (pilot, gunner, and bombardier). The Clawcat is also viable in multiple support roles using its Multi-Purpose Deployment System, which can disperse mines or sensor devices when needed. Of course, there are downsides to having so much weaponry such as the crew having to bring their own life-support kits (similar to TIE Pilots) and boasting no hyperspace capability. Still, complete with both offense and defensive arms, the Clawcat is sure to strike fear in the hearts of whoever enters its sights.

Description: With speed rivaled only by its deadliness, the F-4 Starfighter has raised the bar for starfighter manufacturers around the galaxy. For starters, the "Devil Fox" is fast. That's pretty clear. What may be a bit of a surprise is the agility it brings along with it. The easily-recognizable loop-wings are the reason behind this. The entire loop is, essentially, one big repulsor, though it's actually four-linked repulsor units. Also, if the amazing maneuverability that comes from that isn't enough, there are four chemical thrusters placed around the wings that can be used to literally blast the starfighter into a different part of space almost instantaneously.

Of course, what would a starfighter be without the ability to actually fight? The F-4's teeth and claws are a pair of rapid-firing laser Gatling cannons and three concussion missile launchers. In short, the "Devil Fox" is quick, agile, and packs a punch. The new age of interceptor is here, and its in the hands of the Hutt Cartel.

Description: The Super Star Destroyer to end all Super Star Destroyers. Clearly an imposing sight on any horizon, the Scylla-class is a true monster. Easily the most heavily-armed ship in the Cartel Navy, its weaponry is only matched by its durability, which is owed to its heavy battle plating and honeycombed internal structure. Naturally, such a heavily-armed ship requires massive amounts of power, and thus an entirely purpose-built series of reactors were utilized. The ship's hangars are an oddity to some as they are massive circular caverns protected by specialized blast doors. Another interesting aspect is that the bridge is buried amidships at the center of the ship's structure, though some commanders choose to utilize the forward observation area on the bow for a more-personalized approach to battle.

So Kyle, I now we talked about reorganizing things on skype, but I want to go more into depth here.

Military Fleet- 1/4 the size of the Imperial Navy. Contains stuff like the Rothana Rollout, and is a more recent addition, intended to replace the ad hoc collection of Mandalorian, Chiss, and RevoGalactic designs already out there.

Star Destroyer- Delta Class

Raiding Fleet- 1/4 the size again. I imagine us being a group of thieves and brigands, and all we've got a few pirate and smuggling ships rolling around. Big Ion Cannon Ship- A ship basically built around an Ion Cannon, I've got something in mind for this.

Description: The new main battleship of the Cartel Navy. Designed to smash forward through enemy formations, the Sledgehammer is heavily armed along forward and side arcs. The downside is that the rear-firing arc is under-defended against capital ships though there is still a heavy anti-starfighter presence. A key detail of the Sledgehammer is its heavy armor-plating, especially along the bow, forward mandibles, and dorsal sections, which has rendered it a bit slower than other vessels of its class. It's overall maneuverability, on the other hand, is on-par with nearly any other ship of its classification.

The Sledgehammer is also capable of performing in atmospheric operations and can be used to deploy ground troops using its exceedingly powerful repulsor engines to "land" temporarily. This was a deliberately-ordered trait for the Star Destroyer to possess to offset the Cartel's lack of ground-assault transportation. Another specially-ordered trait of the Sledgehammer is its ability to act as an fleet carrier by removing the passenger areas and other ground units and replacing them with modular-racks for starfighters, which allows the Sledgehammer to deploy its starfighter complement with much-greater speed.

Description
The biggest "ground" vehicle in the Cartel's arsenal, the Khetanna is a heavy sail barge intended for mining operations on remote worlds. Capable of carrying everything necessary for mining operations in its cargo bays, the Khetanna can be deployed on a planet, loaded up, and head towards a chosen area to drop off everything necessary for mining, and carrying the mined ore back to spaceports. In a military capacity, the Khetanna essentially acts as a base for rapid deployments for the Cartel, capable of carrying everything from Champios tanks to troops in its immense cargo bays.

The Khetanna is not quickly deployed however, even in the largest ships capable of landing, it must be partially disassembled for transported before being reassembled on the ground. A Pelta-2 can carry a single Khetanna in this fashion at the expense of its entire cargo capacity, and is often the goto ship for doing so. Due to the nature of sail barges, the Khetanna is heavily armored with reinforced duraplast to act as a safeguard against ion weaponry knocking it out of the sky. Additionally is has redundant repulsorlifts tied to a backup power system in case of damage.

The Khetanna is named for the infamous luxury sail barge that belonged to Jabba the Hutt, and in some instances it is used in the same fashion as its namesake. The luxury variants of the Khetanna are typically floating casinos, or pleasure cruise ships that circle lazily above the more scenic areas of a planet. All in all the Khetanna is a versatile carrier platform for the Cartel, capable of carrying 12 starfighters, or supporting a similar number of tanks, double that for smaller speeders, and triple that for speeder bikes. The sail barge is capable of landing on the ground, or water, for long periods of time but is not capable of acting as a submersible.​
