The Reckless (Training of Lee Sonter)

And Lee sonter would arrive. Off of the shuttle he would step, battered and bruised. He would make his way to his room, avoiding all other people and thanking no jedi were up this late at night. Onto his bed he would fall, and he would be asleep almost instantly.

As he would awake, Lee would feel as if it was a good day. He would walk out of his room, making his way to the training room. There, the assistant turned and spoke:

"Lee, you got a master while out hunting! He's inside!"

"Excellent!" Lee said, and he dashed through the doors into the training room. Lee had been out dueling on coruscant, but he had told everyone he was going hunting in the nearby jungles. He had been waiting for a master for AGES.

Lalita waited quietly in the training room for her newest padawan, she wasn't thrilled to be inside, but once he would arrive, they would be heading out. She had read as much information on the padawan. He seemed to be a natural hunter, and a natural fighter as well; she couldn't wait to see how he would do in lightsaber combat.

She felt a twinge in the Ardor, her padawan was on his way, late, but he was coming, and here.

"I didn't think hunting would cause so much injury to one individual." she raised an eyebrow at his appearance, "Unless you were hunting those of equal status." Lee could hear the sentence in his head. "Lets go we have much to do." she said walking pass the padawan and leading the way outside, off temple grounds.

And Lee would enter the training room. Arrayed around the spacious room, he would see various training equipement. A padawan was training with a master here and there, but otherwise. the room was not full of much activity. And it would stay that way. Lee would be supprised to see a young women approache and pass him.

"I didn't think hunting would cause so much injury to one individual." Lee would shrugg in an uncertain way.

"Unless you were hunting those of equal status." Lee would now frown slightly, worried that his deception had already been breached.

"Lets go we have much to do." Lee would turn and follow the women, filled with disbelief that this was his master.

Lalita opened with the Ardor, the kid wore his feelings like a fresh washed robe, "Something wrong Padawan Sontar?" she asked when he caught up with her, "I feel you are slightly unsatisfied." she said as they trailed through the neighboring forest and into an open plain.

 

[Prygus]

"Something wrong Padawan Sontar? I feel you are slightly unsatisfied."

Sensing my thoughts with the force, eh? Two can play at that game. Lee would increase his concentration in his antennapalps.

"Not dissatisfied, no. I'm more surprised. I... well, I expected... I expected an old man to be my master." He said, stepping onto the plain.

"So, whats first?"

"Then you have a lot to learn." she told him finding his ignorance slightly amusing, she was quickly quiet as if listening to someone speak to her, "Yes, what shall we do first." she reached into her utility belt and pulled out a kerchief and handed to the balosar. "Put it on. And I will teach Force sense, something more powerful than what your antennapalps can pick up."

Lee would accept the hankerchief.

"Force sense? Sounds like fun" he said sarcastically. "I'm ready." He had sensed her amusement at him, but he was not surprised. He would attempt to tie it on, blindfolding himself, but he would have trouble, due to his broken left hand. Eventually he got it on. "Lets begin."

Lalita starred at his broken hand for a moment, she took his left hand, "This may hurt... a lot." she told him as she telekinetically moved some of the broken bones back in place. With cracks and pops, the bones where aligned. Lalita used both her hands to cup his and begun pulling the Force to heal his broken hand.

"Hunting is not a good excuse. Lying is only going to get you in more trouble than what you are going to start with. I suggest you start changing some of your habits." she told him sternly. After a few moments she let go of his hand.

"We'll start with the non-physical part of training, give your hand sometime to heal. However, Now we can begin." she took a few steps back away from him, "Force sense is a reliable tool of the Jedi, it allows us to look behind the veil of the galaxy. Each and every living object has their own pulse in the Force." she picked a flower, "I hold a flower, there are others that live in this field. Find me three more." she grinned.

Lee would grunt in pain as his hand was "fixed".

"Of course..." he replied sarcastically.

Lee would reach out with the force, using all of the extrememly limited experiance he had on the subject. He closed his eyes and felt. Something would come into his mind. It was like a blurry vision of the world, presented in black and white. He would stare, in a metaphorical way, until he remembered hsi task. He would sense the flower in his master's hand. Although it was no longer in the ground, it gave off a distinct shade of grey, contrasting his master's white aura. He would supose that living things had more living force within them.

Finding three more of the flowers would prove to be no challenge though. He would locate each, based on shade, and would walk over to each, picking it out of the ground. The entire process took about five minutes. He would hand the buch of flowers to his master.

Lalita nodded, pleased with the performance of the task, she took the flowers and lectured again, "As you can see its quite basic. Use it to your advantage." she pulled on the Ardor, tossed the flowers onto the ground and into her hand flew a small stone, "Force push," the stone flew up from her hand levitated, "Force pull," the stone came gently back to her hand, "Are our basics in movements, you try." she said tossing the stone to the padawan.

 

[Prygus]

"As you can see its quite basic. Use it to your advantage. Force push, Force pull, Are our basics in movements, you try."

Lee would take the stone. He would begin to focus the force found in his body, bringing it to his hand. It would form into a highly focused speck of the force, which he would release. It went off with a crack, as if a whip had been used. The stone would fly up into the air many feet, coming back down into the grass nearby.

"Whoa..." Lee would once again rach into the force. Instead of moving the force from himelf to the stone, as his master did, he took a differet tactic. Sensing the force in the grass, he would pull on it focussing it into one blade of grass behind the stone. With another crack, the blade of grass would explode. The stone would be blasted into the air, only to be caught by Lee. A small area of dead grass surounded the impact area, and the dead grass was facing outwards, as if hit by an invisible shokwave.

"Not exactly what I was taught..." she said thinking on her observation on Padawan Sonter's talent, "It seems that the Force has granted you an uncommon gift." Lalita gave a small smile, "Force combustion..." she held out her hand and pulled the stone from the padawan to her own grasp, "However, glad I am, that is not what I instructed." the stone floated in her hand, "Try harder, just don't blow anything up though." she tossed the stone in the air and sent it flying at Lee using her telekinesis.

OOC: For the record, it didn't combust. It simple released the pure energies of the force inot pure energy.

"Here goes nothing..."

Lee would sense as his master woudl engulf the rock in the force, carrying.

Less efeicient, but, it has its merits. Lee would think as he glanced over at the flattened grass. He woudl reach out with the force once again, this time extending it from his right hand as if it were a tetacle. It woudl snake towards the rock, engulfing it, until it ws contained in a sphere of the force. Pekka would gently, and with no trouble at all, lift the rock, swinging it back and forth experimentally. It didn't give him that sane thrill.

I wonder...
Lee would focus the force into the rock, casining it to fall to the ground. Lee would then release the energies. The rock would explode. There would be no fire, but it would shatter, fragments flying in all directions, propelled by some invisible force.

((Ok, don't over use it. And...who's pekka lol))

The shattered rock regrouped itself in Lalita's fingers, "I see you have the simple grasp on the concept as well as the new one you have picked up." with her other hand, she raised a large stone from the ground, "A brief review, I tend to have forgotten how some planets look with rings, care to refresh my memory?" she asked as the pebbles of the smaller stone floated in one hand as she kept grip on the larger stone with her other hand.

(Don't worry. I have plans for this 'power'. I intend to make an entire fighting style. Of course, i have a variety of limits, so as not to become overpowered. Here is one now. If you want, I'll pm you the details, Oh, abd Pekka is just a force of habit...)

Lee would reach out witht the force, towards his master's hand. Suddenly, his tendril of force hit an invisible barrier. Closing his eyes, he could sense the barrier, and soon became aware of a sphere of it around him.

"What...?" Lee would experiment further, reaching out with the force, discovereing completely the barrier.

"Odd..." Lee would take a step forward, brining the rock into his sphere. He would reach out with the force, now able to engulf the pebbles. He would gently will the pebbles to move around the larger rock. At first, they would only form a sort of cloud, but they soon resolved into a ring.

 

[GABA]

"Good, good, my memory seems to favor me now." she said in her dream-like tone, smiling, she watching the small pebbles orbit the larger stone. "I can see you are much of fighter and the skills that you have just refreshed on, yet they are basic, will help you in lightsaber training." she explained, "Follow me." she ordered him as they made their descent back to the temple, "By the way, explain to me your reasoning of the jedi code."

 

[Prygus]

Lee would turn and walk with his new master, thinking how to put it delicately.

"The jedi code. Of course. Well... you see... it consists of..."
And so he would ranble all the way to the temple. His memory of the code was completely removed due to the fact he had heard to word lightsaber. He could not use one. If he still wanted his arms, that is.
