The founding of the Raider's Coalition lies in the histories of the Skeleton Guard and the Bloodied Hand. The Bloodied Hand, commanded by the married couple of the two Valtieres, held the galaxy fearing it's name for some time, as a pirate and mercenary group about the galaxy. Affiliated with no major faction in the galaxy, the Bloodied Hand was able to reap the rewards from all about, stealing and thieving from many in the galaxy. ​

The Skeleton Guard were slavers, pirates and mercenaries, cruel, callous pirates who would raid and kill, break and destroy, sell the lives of other sentients with little care or concern for their well being. Cold, hard, credits. That was what mattered in today's galaxy. Commanded by Venator Furtificus, Furtificus' position as an Admiral in the Alsakan Union saw a slight affiliation with said Union, the Union having immunity from Skeleton Guard attacks. ​

Blood and bones. What an appropriate mix. ​

Tired of small prizes, squabbling amongst one another, these two important pirate groups, the Skeleton Guard with a large Republic bounty on them, chose to merge. The galaxy shall quaver in fear at the mention of the name of the Raider's Coalition, they said, and they aim to make that a priority. With the two Valtiere's and Furtificus commanding in a three way split, the ranks from there on downwards are entirely merged; original Bloodied Hand forces are not more answerable to the Valtieres than to Furtificus, and vice versa.​

Over the past twenty years the Raider's Coalition grew and took over the galaxy. The name has become a common household name used by parents to scare their children and ghost stories. Some people refuse to believe that the Raider's Coalition exists and it is all just a fairy tale. This is justified since usually people do not live to talk about them. ​

Slavers, pirates, smugglers, mercenaries. ​

The Raider's Coalition has it all.​
