Twice now, Rhea had found herself on Canto Bight; but, at last, she had located the prize she had sought. For months, she had crossed the galaxy seeking the perfect ship to gift to Leviticus back on Prakith. But her recent visit to Cantonica had proven fruitful. One of the wealthy patrons had recently purchased a freshly minted CR-1925 armed star courier which was presently on-world, parked with the other wealthy patrons' star ships—and she intended to steal it.

But she was not alone; she could not be. For all her talents, she was no thief; she needed someone of a different skillset and so she had appealed to Leviticus to reveal more of his Exile contacts. One had stood out above the rest and it was to him that she called.

The meeting place was to be the René Mathis: one of the smaller casinos in Canto Bight that would afford them a low-profile and avoid drawing the wrong conclusions from the locals. She chose a booth in the back, away the other patrons and prying ears. In this dimly lit setting, they could easily plan their moves and escape before executing what was likely to be a risky plan. But, at least, if they were successful, her months of hunting would finally be over.

Tavek had been a bit surprised when he'd heard from a friend of a... contact. So Levi and Tavek weren't the best of friends, at least they had gotten along well enough to get their job done, and it seemed the Force had thrust them together on that little assignment on purpose. After all, what were the odds that two Exiles were hired by the same woman for the same job? Of all the assassins in the galaxy, not likely.

Even so, the two had proven effective enough, and apparently now he was to meet up with another woman in a bar on Canto Bight. He figured it was as good a job as any, and had the potential to help out his little alliance as well. Could be exciting enough after all.

So, when it was all said and done, he threw on some robes, hid his sabers, and specifically brought along some thieving equipment on his belt. If they were going to steal a ship, it served to have the right tools.

With that, Tavek made his way into the casino, ordered a drink (strictly for blending purposes of course...), and made his way to the back table, drinking an entirely too foo-foo drink for someone like him. He didn't care, the fruity taste was nice and it wasn't so strong as to get him hammered before a mission. He took a sip as he slid into the booth of the woman he was assuming he was supposed to contact. He didn't want to say she looked out of place, but she looked a little out of place. Certainly not "blending in."

And how is Levi? he asked, knowing if this were the wrong woman, she would have no idea what he was talking about, and if he was right, well then they were in business. His mind was guarded but alert to picking up any sense of surprise or lying in the other woman's intent, just in case. @Malon

Rhea took careful appraisal of the man who approached her table. He was, indeed, of Leviticus's stock: he was tall, athletic-looking, and human. There was an arrogance to his walk—a sense of fitting in in a place like Canto Bight. But his mind was guarded, which made him smarter than most that Rhea encountered. She kept her own thoughts well-guarded behind a wall of curiosity. False thoughts and deceptions were the best way to avoid mind probes, after all. His mention of Leviticus, however, cemented him as her man. She wasted no time getting to the point.

"He has done quite well for himself" she admitted, thinking back to the group he had assembled and the temple they were constructing. "But in need of new transportation. He has recommended you and your particular talents for such a task. The target is an armed star courier belonging to a rather well-known patron of this establishment. Are you sure you're prepared for such a thing?

Ah yes, this was the one he was searching for after all. And she got right down to business, which was always the problem with the Exiles: they were far too focused on things like brooding and not enough on actually enjoying their power. But one glance at her told him that any such spiel would be wasted on her. No, she liked to brood too much, and he highly doubted she ever actually got past business.

Well that's good to hear, he said. So now was the time for the young assassin to begin wracking up favors, and that was precisely why he was here. This wasn't necessarily something that he would be able to specifically be paid for, but quid pro quo was a more powerful currency when one could simply steal credits.

I think we should do fine, if you're ready, he said. Jobs like this were a dime a dozen, but if he was put with partners who weren't used to getting their hands dirty, things always became more complicated. He slid into the booth, taking a sip from his drink as his mind ran back through the intel packet. I looked over his dossier on the way here: young to mid-age, loves fast ships and women, drinks, gambles, and generally likes to cause problems. Also pisses a lot of people off, so he's got a couple of former special forces bodyguards who - by all accounts - are going to be a handful besides whatever local security we run across, he paused and perhaps she would detect the moment's spark of anticipation in his eyes before it was gone. Sound about right? he asked. Whether they wanted the man dead or alive or if they just wanted the ship and nothing else was the next big step and would drastically alter how they approached the job. @Malon
