The Galactica

It was very difficult for Theia to contain her excitement on Korriban after the woman had introduced herself. Theia had a terrible poker-face as she seemed to just beam with admiration and joy to finally get to meet and hang with the Arla, Auntie Ren's daughter. Her mind swelled with questions, mainly about the theories as to who she was and what she did in the wider galaxy. Of course, when she had the opportunity to spend even more time with her, Theia didn't need time to think on it and soon she was travelling back to the Galactica with Arla. The teen was mesmerized by the space station, she had heard of the station from her school friends growing up, taking summer breaks with their families or their parents were going for the weekend so they could have a party while they were away.

"Man, this place is so cool, its like just being on a normal world," she said as they toured through the promenade, "Though its like...cleaner than most cities." she said not catching any distinct smell of burning fuel or ozone from ships that were coming and going. Nor did the air smell stale like when traveling on a star ship for some time; this place certainly had some top air recyclers. She fell quiet for a few moments which Arla probably would have quickly concluded by now that would mean she was going to burst with more talk. "So if you help keep everything in check, you're pretty much like in charge here, right?" she grinned. "Does that mean we get to go to places here for free?" Theia asked, eyebrows rising with curiosity.

So far things were turning out super for the young teen jedi, pausing for a moment to look at the fountain that was the centerpiece of the park they were strolling through. There was a temptation to wade through, though not even an inch away did a plaque outline instructions not to do such things or there would be a fine. The girl inhaled deeply and let out a long breath, feeling her surroundings, the ebb and flow of Force as it existed here.

Only up here, Arla replied to the comment about it being cleaner. The Promenade was the shining jewel of the Galactica and was usually quite restricted with who was allowed in. Arla, however, owned a luxury apartment here and she had seen to it that Theia was given an all-access guest pass.

Something like that, she said, watching the way Theia was practically glowing with excitement at being here. Arla couldn't say that it was mundane to her to be here these days, but sometimes she forgot what it was like to come here for the first time. It really was... stunning.

Apex runs all the security on the station. The station is predicated on its neutrality and security, so while we don't technically own it, let's say that the Galactica's reputation has flourished along with Apex, she said.

As for getting things for free... that would depend where they went and what they did, but Arla could easily foot the bill of... well, pretty much anything they wanted to do.

She didn't stop watching the other woman, finding it curious and almost surreal. The two had never met before, but she had always fallen under that umbrella of family. She'd kept tabs on her and she almost felt like she knew here even though she actually didn't.

You spend most of your time at Jedi temples? she asked. Surely if she had any association with the rest of the family she was no stranger to the finer things in the galaxy. She wasn't sure Ezra would really approve of Theia being here, but... he also might not care. Her brother was somewhat of an enigma to her still. Eh, he'd probably just tell her to do what she wants, she thought.

"I'll have to come here more, maybe even see if Mama wants to come too. We haven't done any major holidays since my last year at the girl's academy." she sighed; she knew it wasn't anyone's fault, she had started more critical parts in the Naboo Ballet and school was becoming more demanding as she worked to graduate early. Then she knew her mother was always busy with something, never to be busy for the sake of busy, it was critical for galaxy. Regardless, the teen figured she could certainly start to go on her own trips, and knowing Arla was here, it was now unsaid knowledge she would be visiting more.

Arla asked about the Jedi temple, and Theia's eyebrows rose as she collected her thoughts about the amount of time she spends at the temple. "Yes..." she sighed, "I can't wait until I am a Knight, then I don't have share a quarters, I can stay where I want, and have a decent bed." Theia rolled her eyes in to the absurdity to it all. "AND, I don't have to worry about anyone telling me what I cannot and can do. There is this one Master and she is always on me about being late, or not going to the cafeteria, which has some of the worst food I have ever tasted." she stuck out her tongue in disgust as though someone were shoving a trayful to her in that moment. The teen shook her head, her thoughts returning to wishful thinking if things were different.

"Do you have the Force thing too?" she asked Arla.
