Ruined Temple, Korriban

Vex stood in front of the foggy entrance of an old and ruined Sith temple. It was long abandoned and few dared to enter it. There was rumors that powerful beasts made it their home and the young assassination didn't doubt it because she could sense them. At least, she could sense some of them.

Dusk was fast approaching, and soon there would be nothing left but the light of the few torches at the entrance. For this trip, Vex decided not to bring an extra light. She had her lightsabers clenched in her hands, thumbs on the triggers, ready to ignite as her and her men approached the entrance. Perhaps her men had brought some extra light, but her lightsabers and her senses would be enough for her. All she needed to do was cut down everything in her way till they found—if they found—this holocron.

Kalladrrl stood ready, an elite squad of ten Blackguards at his back, his typical gear in place and the Gauntlet on his right hand. His left hand held the lightsaber of the blood-red blade, deactivated and ready. Vex’s style of combat suited him against sapient beings and users of the Force, but with his hand free he would be able to manipulate the Force in ways that would surpass even the mighty Vex in strength. The darkness of Korriban raged around them like a swirling void beyond the edges of sight, the inky blackness of the temple ahead of them almost calling out to him, beckoning him into its depths.

The War Master would not refuse its call, and he stood beside and yet behind Vex as he gazed into the pathway before them.

“You always take me to the nicest places,” he said, telepathy flowing easily between their connected souls, basso Basic thrumming softly with velvet irony along with a feeling of iron-willed resolve. If Vex sought an objective within this stygian corridors, then Kalladrrl would deliver her to the objective and no creature of Korriban would stand in his way. The Empress had many servants who were subtle in battle and many who were overt, striding through the thick of it like supermen who thrived within it.

It did not take much observation to determine to which camp Kalladrrl belonged.
