Hello everyone !

I'm obviously new around here, but neither in the roleplaying communities or the star wars universe. I have been roleplaying since a very long time, but recently decided to join english communities as it allows me to work on my foreign languages and practice ! There is also the fact that i can't really find any french good roleplaying forum that caught my heart like this one did. So here I am.
But wait ! If you are not english, th...- oh yes, i'm french. Fries, surrender and baguette. No big deal, you can joke about it, I honestly won't take it seriously anyway. Most of you seem friendly ! *nervous laughter*

I would like to play a politician on the 'evil' side. I already got my character's story, personality and all of that, but i'm not sure there is a place for non fighter kind of people in the brotherhood since it looks very military oriented. I humbly require your advices on that to determine if whether or not i could play a moff/governor that would stick to diplomacy, administration and be the first to hide when a blaster shot is to be heard.

I also apologize for any grammar mistake or anything. I try my best but i would understand if you were not comfortable with a non fluent english speaking player.​

Welcome aboard! The community is friendly, and like Hook said, if you need anything, send a message. There are other players who don't have english as their first language, so you will fit in nice :)

As for politicians, there are Moff's or you could be a rather renegade Senator in the Republic.

Renegade senator in the republic could be nice too actually... is there a faction in need of PCs, especially on the political/diplomatic field ? I could adapt i guess. If it improves everyone's experience (including mine).​

While the Sth Brotherhood is indeed very militaristic by design, there is still room for characters less inclined towards such things. The Moff Council might be right up your alley, as Moffs are allowed to govern their planets however they see fit - be it by diplomacy or more... direct means. The choice is ultimately yours.

The thing is, it's all about your point of view really. I do not intend to play my character like an absolute evil dictator. Quite the contrary. It would probably be more comfortable to live on her world(s ?) than the worst ones on the republic's side at the very least.​
