Shawn whistled as he headed towards the spaceport on coruscant were a Bounty Hunters Guild ship the Jericho was docked. To him it was wired that his training would be conducted on a ship, do to the fact he was use to being trained in the field with set instructions and goal in mine but that was how he was used to things when he was in the Republic military and the police forces set rules and regulations to follow. He also didn't like the fact it was so secretive he was only given a place and code to get in the hanger the ship was docked, no info on his instructor or what to expect when he got there.

Nun the less he walked on whistling and in high spirits; it wasn't his way to dwell on the unpleasant. though what did bug him was being back on coruscant, the many memories the many, many unpleasant memories it bugged him to be so lightly equipped in this part of town but he didn't want to attracte any un-wanted attention. the dual custom slug pistols holstered in his shoulder holsters, hidden under his dark blue trench coat with his usual dark civvies and under that a Kevlar under armor in case there was an unforeseen gun fight but allowed him full mobility and of course a combat dagger if there is one thing he learned in the military it was always carry a knife with you.
he finally reached the bay he was supposed to get to he keyed in the code and the door slowly opened by the time it fully opened his manner completely changed to seriousness as he cased the placed possible escape routes cover possible sniper positions when he was satisfied he allowed himself to relax and look at the ship.

so that’s the Jericho what a piece of crap or so he wanted to say out loud but then again that wouldn't probably be the best thing to say on your first day, especially with an entire Guild probably in there, but he couldn't keep it in himself as he said the words out loud, and started to whistle again as he walked towards the ramp of the airlock

When he arrived he waited for who ever he was supposed to meet out side like the instructions said if he didn't come out within the hour he'd head in to see what was going on.

Ares had had some business outside the sanctuary that was the Jericho earlier that day. He had caught wind of some people that needed his kind of punishment, so he spent the day hunting them down like rats. As he walked his eyes were glued to a datapad that held a list of all the evil people he had killed, he was updating it as he walked. He passed the ships main entrance hatch, preferring the seclusion of the secret rear entrance.

Ares walked right past Shawn without a second look. Suddenly remembering he had a training scheduled that day, he suddenly stopped, stepped backwards a couple paces, and walked over to Shawn. The voice synthesizer in his helmet made his voice metallic and somewhat cold. "Excuse me. Is there something I can help you with?" Ares knew this was the new recruit he was supposed to be training, he just wanted to mess with him before it actually began.

shawn was just about to fall asleep when a man in full armor and a datapad walked by up the ramp of the Jericho, but came back to see if he needed help in a cold robotic voice which came from the voice system in the mans helmet. Shawn looked at the man whith a strong suspicion this was the guy seeing as he was the only one that came to the ship the entier day and no one came out so he decided to play along whith him.

shawn noded then said "yah I was called here for training but the instructors late if this is how the entier BHG works im suprised they can catch there targets", as shawn said this in a kidding manner, "haha just kidding, i just joined the guild recently and got the confermation message to come here and wait I know its busy work in the Guild in all but if you happen to see whos suposed to training me tell him to get down here, I don't priticually like being on this planet for more than a few days if I don't have to."

'Smug little punk.' Ares thought to himself as he listened to Shawn talk. The kid probably knew that he was a guild member, and maybe even that he was the trainer in question, but Ares had just then decided that the training was going to be a little unorthodox. "Do you know how many smug little punks like you that go guns a' blazing into the fray and find themselves trying to keep their guts from falling out of their kriffing body? You should never be impatient. Never." Ares said as he got into Shawn's face, his visor was practically touching Shawn's nose.

Shawn was expecting that the masked man was going to do something or even erupt with a little anger he was used to it his personality that he puts on to hide the fact that he's seen a few more horrors than he should have despite his age, it also allowed him to gage how much it will take to distract his opponents when the time came to ever face someone in battle, the same thing applies to hunting someone, know what makes them tick, what gets him/her angry and off balance, and now that he got what he was looking for Shawn turned serious.

"The answer to your question is all of them especially if you don't think before you act, just like you did when you dropped your guard and aloud me to put my pistol pointed at your gut," as he said smiling to show no hostilities.

"The problem with that pistol of yours is that its caliber wouldn't even penetrate my armor. I’ve seen countless thugs use pistols similar to yours. After you fired I would have broken your arm and thrown you to the ground. This suit does more then accent my dashing good looks." Ares said as backed up a little.

"Rule two would be to bring weapons that you know can kill your enemy, even if you’re not even sure what or who you’re going to be fighting. Something like a rifle would be more adequate." He said as he patted his rifle. "I'm the trainer you've been waiting for. But I think you already knew that. We'd better get inside so we can continue this in the comfort of the ship." Ares walked past Shawn and quickly punched a code into the pad on the ship, making the sealed door hiss as it depressurized and opened. "Let’s go." He said as he walked into the ship.

Shawn smiled at the first joke the masked man had said the entire time showing he wasn't just another drill instructor type, he holstered his weapon. He'd seen far to many rookies injurer themselves, firing a slug thrower at point blank against a Dura steal training bots when they got to close, during basic.

"true but not when your not licensed to carry one out in public at this time without good reason and if you don't want to catch any attention especially for me on this planet, you would have known this if you read my background on the report I filed when I applied," though knowing by the look of the guy he wasn't the paperwork sort of guy. "anyways nice to meet you, the names Shawn what’s yours." realizing he hadn't introduced himself yet.

"Ares" Ares grunted as they walked through the interior of the ship. He was normally a nice guy, very talkative with newly acquainted people and old friends alike. It was just something in this new guy that set Ares off, he couldn't put his finger on it, since he hadn't gotten the buzzing in his head yet.

They walked for several minutes, going up turbo-lifts, walking through what seemed like never ending corridors. Until they got to a door that Ares finally stopped at, it looked no different than any other door in the hall way, but it held the most surprises the ship had to offer. He quickly punched in the code on the key pad and walked through the door as it opened.

Inside was a sparsely furnished room, containing only a couch, desk, and a few chairs. There were no windows, and a second door on the opposite side of the room behind the desk. Ares tossed the datapad he had been holding ontop of the desk and sat down behind it. "Ill have to ask you a couple questions before we can begin. Its standard procedure you understand." He said as he pressed a few buttons on the desk that made a holo monitor appear. "Do you or have you ever enjoy killing people? Innocents or otherwise?" Ares would wait for Shawn to answer before continuing.

((I added the color text to indicate when his mannerisum changes orange serrious personality, green the anoying side.))

"Ares huh well nice to meet you". Shawn said as he followed Ares through the ship that seemed bigger on the inside than it did on the outside they finally stopped and entered a room that Shawn didn't like especially with so many variables that could happen and only one way out and anouther that could hold countless traps on the outher side, but he didn't let it show as he looked for possible traps or other dangers he should watch for but wasn't quite ready for the question he was asked, it caught him a little off guard.

"No, killing should be a last resort if a suspect doesn't comply with the orders to stop or has a weapon in hand and refuses to drop it, and the only exception is on the battle field and instructed to by your superiors, or in the defense of a location". the old military, and police training kicking in as he replied, but thought to himself text book answers don't show yourself, so back to his usual personality Shawn puts on, "but I’m pretty sure a text book answer like that wouldn't satisfy you. personally if force is not needed to subdue some one it shouldn't be done and killing some in cold blood, is wrong the pain that it could cause to loved ones of said person that is killed just breeds more people to lead to killing and or enjoy killing, if you have the power you shouldn’t use it on the weak". speaking from witnessing what happened on the streets when he was a kid and the troops he saw that would destroy entire towns for fun, a little bit of sadness shown on his face as he finished the thoughts of his past the people that couldn't handle what they had done and lost it.

"There are some exceptions to that.....But I won't delve into it further." Ares said as he typed in a couple things on the computer's keyboard. Shawn's words rang true to Ares to an extend. He hated to say that he enjoyed killing, but when he knew someone had raped or murdered or done anything particularly heinous, he just wanted them to burn. It was vengeful of anything like that; they were just getting the justice they deserved that they wouldn't get from the police.

"Are you or have you ever been involved with any illegal activities that could bring trouble to the guild?" Ares said as he stared at the holo screen. He hated this part of the training, it was so......organized. He personally couldn’t wait till they got to the combat portion of the training, or when Kal showed up. Whenever that was. Kal always seemed to have his own secret agenda.

"Illegal activities?" "No but I am listed as dead on this planet do to my involvement in a crime case three years ago that dealed with pirates and a smuggling organization on coruscant and revealed a string of corruption in the police force the chief who is a friend helped me stage my death, and even if they do find out I’m still alive they will only come after me so it shouldn't have any effect to the guild, and thats how i whant it so I can get them in the act and take them in. I chose this path to help people that I couldn't when I was with the police force".
Shawn didn't like talking even a little about his past and being serious for such a long time also didn't sit well with him it shows to much of his past.

"Ok, I see." Ares said as he started typing again. He didnt worry about Shawn seeing anything he was typing, the holo screen would have looked blank on the back side of it, giving Ares the privacy to do what he needed to.

"Would you be willing to forsake a hunt to save a fellow guild member?"

"If it was a critical situation and there was no way for the man or woman to escape on there own then yes no one should be left behind be it a civilian or a fellow member, if some one needs help they should get it, the target can always be re-found and chased after at a latter date". This was one thing both sides of him agreed on that if asked for help they should get it.

"That’s a good lesson to live by, but civis get in the way alot anyway, so they weren't included in the actual question." Ares said as he started typing yet again. "I apologize for all the questions. Its standard procedure you understand." He wasn't trying to be particularly nice, it was just that it was indeed standard procedure, and a way to stall so Kal could make his guest appearance before the real training began. There were only a couple questions left, and Ares would start with or without the guild leader.

"Would you kill another hunter? Whether they did something personal to you or just got on your nerves."

Shawn didn't mind the questions. "true they were not included but even if a civilian gets in the way the lose of innocents life caught in a cross fire or taken hostage on a hunt, should not be an acceptable outcome even if you get your target, if the innocent die by your hand while on the hunt then your no better then your target, and yes I know there will be casualties some times if you don't catch them fast enough, especially a serial murderer, but those deaths are out of you’re hands".
Though when Ares asked the next line in questioning he took a little less serious but knew the right answer because, he was use to organizations.
"No I wouldn't, in groups people you are bound to irritate one person or another, hell I got under your skin didn't I? Though the only time it may come to that is if they do something to put a bounty on there head, and these question I understand completely there to make sure I won't go insane on other members or brake a law".

"I regret to inform you that guild members cannot put bounties on one another's heads." Ares said as he typed one last think before shutting down the computer. He stood and gestured Shawn to come to the door behind the his desk. " The rest of the training will commence beyond this door. I will follow shortly." Ares said as he put the code into the door. It silently slid open, revealing nothing but darkness. "After you."

Shawn was a little puzzled by the response though he did realize he wasn't clear, but before he could even correct himself Ares opened the door behind him which was pitch black. "vary well" Shawn said as Ares gestured him to go on in ahead of him, as his eyes narrowed and was focusing on what to expect contemplating any variables that could be in there but he just didn't know and every fiber of his being told him not to go in there but if he listened to this side of his training all the time he would have died long ago. "Nothing ventured nothing gained". As he said out loud stepping through the door.

The door quickly closed behind Shawn, a light came on shortly after. Before him was another door, that lead to a large round room. He wouldn't be able to see the round room until he opened the door. His approach to the second door would cause machines to silently begin to become operational, generating the trial that Shawn was about to face.

Panels behind Shawn silently slid open, revealing battle droids armed with blaster and slug thrower rifles. They only had non-lethal weapons, but if Shawn were to get hit, it would hurt severely. The droids had no melee combat capabilities, Shawn would not know this until a longer duration of combat. Several dropped to the ground behind Shawn. Two droids quickly opened fire.

((Um T.J. you didn't give me much to work with in this room but that’s ok))
As Shawn entered the room there was another door he went to it revealing a large circular room, before he could case the room to see what was inside several droids dropped down behind him, "dam how did they get behind me so quietly" he said as he barley had time to jumping through the second door for cover, what surprised him the most was that some droids were carrying blasters the power requirements for them must be enormous he thought, as he looked around the room in the little time he had he noticed vary little cover, so getting a little injured might be a possibility and a necessity. ok judging from there equipment there not heavily armored but they are durable all I have is two clips of explosive rounds and the other three clips non-lethal rounds and a combat knife not much to work with as he ran for another spot for cover behind a small barricade near him. I have enough to drop two maybe three droids the others may be a problem, "man I should have brought at least one EMP grenade, or even a he grenade with me". He said as he opened fire on the blaster equipped droids knowing that his under armor wouldn't protect him from them.

Ares hummed to himself quietly while the blaster and slug thrower fire sounded from behind the closed door, he sat with his feet on the desk and his hands folded behind his head. He wasn't orchestrating the events that unfolded behind the sealed door, since all of the droids activations and actions were predetermined. However, the one thing he did have control over resided in the large round room. The large room had been created with the dueling arenas of Taris in mind. Down to the empty seats that lined its exterior.

The only difference was that there were several sealed openings in the ground that concealed weapons for recruits to use if they came ill equipped. As Shawn entered the circular room to gain cover, the door quickly slid shut. Locking the remaining droids on the other side. The room fell silent as the droids on the other side of the door powered down.

A couple of the weapon racks that had been concealed beneath the floor rose to chest level. The rest were on timers that would keep them hidden until a predetermined time. The ones that rose only had a couple lower grade rifles and a couple combat knives. It would be up to Shawn to decide what he needed most, as an audible ticking signaled he did not have much time to choose.
