She had days stranger than this one?
Somewhere in the back of his mind, Crix was aware that being shot at and almost being arrested was supposed to be more Strange than most normal people could handle in their lifetime, let alone one day. His head wasn’t in it however and he was busy comparing it to his own regular activities. It wasn’t something all that strange to him either now that he thought about it in a comparative light for more than a few moments.
He smirked back at her, ignoring the comment about the day seeming relaxed to fire off a snappy comeback to her assumption about Jedi.
“No, we can only go get coffee with the beautiful ones – so I’m still good with you.” He shot back with a wink before chuckling, “Don’t worry, I’m not going to bring down some Jedi chaperone down on your head like a tonne of bricks.”
Though he did grimace at the mention of food.
“The Temple has the worst food I’ve ever tasted.” He confirmed, sticking his tongue out in distaste at the memory of the taste alone, “Honestly – crimes against food. What about you Lyra? What do you do and does it allow you to enjoy the true pleasure that comes from a good cup of coffee?”
